*Headbutts the sink and staggers back. Not enough to break her nose, but enough to send a decent trickle of blood down her nostril. Kate tore her bowtie off and pushed her hair back out of her face lazily before weaving out the door and leaning on the frame for a minute before staggering out into the street and lurching in the general direction of home.*

January 13th, 2010:
Expanding upon yesterday's entry, I must say that I'm becoming run-down.. again. I'm really starting to worry about just what is going on. It's not the kids, I've had them for 7 years now and I'm used to that. I had that dream again last night which has left me just completely exhausted this morning. Not a great start to my day. I have plenty of things that I should get done, but we'll see what actually happens.
Got another "No" to my idea last night. Not surprising, I just can't wrap my mind around some of the logic used to argue against my idea. This group I'm proposing would cause more violence? Mundys have policemen, firemen and paramedics. That doesn't cause there to be more violent crimes, fires or medical emergencies. The organizations are just there to keep things from degrading into anarchy. However, I'm not really prepared to have knock down, drag out verbal fights like I did last time I tried this. Bigby's right. I need a different approach. I just hope that the rest of the people I need to talk to don't shut me down before actually reading my proposal.
Bleh.. My fondest wish right now, besides the resolution of this situation in the Nexus, of course, is to go on a weekend trip. Just us adults. I think I need to get away from the Nexus and the valley and recharge my batteries in a new setting. A nice hotel room, a candle-lit dinner and nice bottle of wine with my sweetie sounds heavenly at this point but it will never happen. Keep, dreaming, Snow. It keeps you sane.
