Arlen's purrs grew steadily louder as she melted into Lily's lap, wondering if this was how she felt when her ears were stroked or if the spell had messed with their sensitivity.

Lily gave the widest smile she had in two days, then bent down carefully, hesitating briefly before kissing Arlen lightly on the lips. Then one arm wrapped around the other's waist, cuddling her, while the other continued petting.

Tomo's ears perked and he blushed, "That feels really weird..." He murmured, reaching back to stroke down the feathers. He looked to Silent, "It's a holiday. It's part of a few religions around."

Lily gave a quiet sigh and wrapped both arms around Arlen, then lay back in bed, bringing the other with her. "I'm glad." she whispered, closing her eyes.
