James turned the girl who had spoken to him. "Yes, please. I was wondering if I could stay here for a while."

Shadow couldn't look up, he had been broken into his role far to well over the years serving under Lilith before the first incodent. "You are the daughter of Lilith, founder of the great clans. I am your servant, your heratige demands it. The power that lies in your blood is one that could bring down an empire if you so willed it." Shadow said but this didn't feel right to him, something clawing at the back of his mind told him to stop this. He had to fight every ounce of his being in order to stop himself fromreverting back to the slave he was under Lilith's command, as all of the clans were back then. he knew Sakura, he knew she was not like Lilith and didn't want the same things. Shadow forced himself to stand and look Sakura straight in the eyes, "I'm sorry for that. I lost myself for a moment..." Shadow said as he walked right up to Sakura and hugged her tihgtly with love and care. "You will always be my daughter and that is all. no matter what anyone else says, you will always be my daughter." he said in a near whisper.

Kashan couldn't help but laugh, "I never said you didn't liek it nor did I think that. I coudl tell you enjoyed it... you certainly didn't try to hide it." Kashan saidwith a smile as he ran a single finger up Sam's side. "Your head will always go into overload but that might change with time sam." he said.

Resu was glad to actualy have a friend for once now and to see such a bright smile was soemthign straneg tohim. All the smiles he had seen were dark and sadistic when aimed at him but not this one, he found it almost enchanting. "If I can help you in any way, do not be afraid to ask and I will coem to you if I coem up with anything that can help either of us." He said. He did notice the sound of music comming from somehwere and since Zero sugested that they investigate he figured it would be woth the time. "I think your idea is the best one, better than any I coudl coem up with. Let us investigate and see what we turn up." Resu said as he gestured for her to go first.

Lucian sighs, then lets her go. He would have stayed, just to help her. He takes off at a run back towards the town. He gets back to town and goes into the tailors. As he walks in, he finds Luna and Naomi right away, so her goes up and kisses her. "Hello Love, having fun?" he says and then chuckles. He looks down, realizing his shirt was still open. He starts to do the buttons up, then looks up and smirks at Naomi.

Sakura grabbed into his shirt, tears streaming down her face. "Papa....." she called as she hugged him. She was scared even more now that she finally know who her mother was. "Papa....I don't want....to turn out like her...." she said softly through her tears, scared that one day she might.

Naomi smiled when she noticed Lucian walk into the shop. "Hey..." she said softly as she kissed him back. She then smiles more as she spun, showing him the dress. "What do you think?....." she asked him with a slight smirk. "It's simple but pretty.....Do you think Selena might get jealous?...." she asked softly with a smile.

Nadea was in the ballroom talking to the conductor about music and the old opera house in Italy. He had played the cello for her first performance and remembered her well. "Are you singing tonight?" he asked her in his thick Italian accent, Nadea smiled softly. "I haven't a clue...i haven't performed for an audience in quite some time and fear that i'm a little rusty." she chuckled softly. "If you like i will sing Lucia Di Lammermoor for you..." the conductor smiled and gave her a grand hug before shooing her off to the stage. Nadea was extremely nervous, there wasn't a lot of people in the room, but she knew more were going to show up at any moment. The music started and the lights dimmed to a faint glowing blue, Nadea took a deep breath and exhaled.

Edgardo! io ti son resa, Edgardo, mio!

Her voice echoed softly over the ballroom, she hadn't lost a single drop of her angelic voice that seemed to lull others into a feeling of serenity. More and more people started to file into the room, whether it was because of her or their own reasons she would never know.

"Don't worry about a thing Sakura." Shadow said as he held his daughter close to him and not willing to let her go right now. "I will make sure you do not turn out like her. besides, you are far to kind to turn out like her. You are a loving mother and a very generous person. I am proud to call you my daughter. With me here to giude you, you will not have to worry abotu turning into that monster."Shadow said as he tried to comfort his crying daughter. It always panined him to see her or any of his children like that. She put up with him threw all the worst times and still remianed here with him after all this time and for that he was truly thankful. "I love you Sakura, you know that right?" he siad.

"Oh, don't scowl, you will just make me try harder and harder until you stop or I will just tickle you." Kashan said as he moved his hand and put it over Sam. "We will work on your mind being jumpled after every session, don't you worry a bit about that okay. In time you will be bale to think clearly afterwards." he said.

Zero found the entrance to where the festivities was happening and entered in quietly. An angelic voice filled the air, and Zero could not help but feel sorrowful pangs in her heart. The voice reminded her so much of her, well not home, but certainly the home she had in heaven. Moving to the back of the room as to not disturb the performance, she leaned against the door and closed her eyes, listening attentively and appreciating the soothing voice.
