Shadow nodded and gestured for Selena to come over to his desk as he stood up and drew some black out blinds over so she could sit with him. "I'm sorry Selena, sometimes I forget that we are not all as old as I am. Once you reach a certain age and a certain level of necromancy the sun no longer bothers you. You can weave a protective shell around yourself that helps but we tend to be a little weakned from doing something like that you know." Shadow said in explination for the window being opened like that. "Yes, the manor is deathly silent at this hour... that is why I am usualy found here at this time. I get to enjoy the quiet even though it drives me crazy sometimes. It gives me time to think about everything and know that I will not be bothered by anyone's problems for a time." Shadow said as he gestured to the chair on the oposite side of his desk, "Please sit down. I do sleep... on ocasion but I find it hard to sleep alone. that is my problem you see and I have lived with it for many, many years. When I do sleep I tend to only sleep for a few hours and then get back up to wander around... sometimes I just sit on the roof and watch the sun rise. You know in all my years I had never watched the sun rise until a few years ago with Vickilyn and Felicity. I never saw the point in using my abilities to walk in the light until recently." Shadow said with a smile as he picked up his cig again and took another long draw from it.

walked over " hey i might not be as old as you but age has nothing to do with it it that ring of your that has something to do with the reason why you can goout into the sun lite out without being brunt to a crsip" selena tanted him and wlaked over and sat down next to shadow " whats it like " selena ask softly " whats it llike shadow to be out in the sun and not get hurt to see the sun rise again" selena face look almost sad some how but shook it off " oh well im not a necromannor so i guess that ill never know but its ok as long as i have my nites with you " selena smiles " im really dont know why im up at this hours igess the excitemnet is what mad eme get up so earlier and yes i bet is good to hav these few periouss hours to your self but it also good to have somebody eles to tlak to huh "selena gigles and sighs " well you could have fooled meive never seen you sleep "selena luaghs selena see shdow smoking "when did you start that " selena point at the cig " shadow " selne look at him in the eyes " in few hours the svernt will start getting up then everybody eles will get up then the ball will start are you ready "selena heard a voice that wasnt shadow and jumps with as start "yeie " and look to see another girl standing there " oh hello who are you and why are you up so earlier excited about the masquarde to huh that why im up so earlier but keep it down everybody eles is still alseep " selena looked at the girl

Nadea smiled softly, "So sorry! I didn't mean to frighten you!" she laughed lightly. "I'm Nadea...Masquerade? What masquerade?" she wondered aloud, she hadn't heard of a masquerade being held tonight. "Oh wow....i had no idea. I'm usually up at this time...early bird gets the worm as i always say!" she chuckled and walked over to the two, taking a seat on the stone coffin and playing with her old black feather. "Looks like i'm going to have to find something to wear...much less someone to teach Shadow how to dance again!" she laughed again as she slipped her own cigarette from behind her ear and lit it up. Old habits die hard...Nadea was a little taken aback at how quickly Shadow was talking. "Errr...i'm quite fine. Gabriel and Persephone are graduating in a year and then they are off to Germany to study dragons...i still don't understand why they want to." she sighed softly. "And yes...haven't done any magic for a while now. I'm sticking to meditation..." she assured him. "Its a pleasure to meet you Selena...i hope you're keeping Shadow out of trouble..." she smirked.

Shadow grumbled lightly and glared at Nadea, "You knwo you love frighteneing me. Constantly teleporting into my room, onto the tables infront of me... that incodent in the shower." Shadow joked lightly and shook his head. they had got up to some strange things over the years. "Yeh, don't you insult my ability to dance. I can dance very well thank you. Besides, you should know that being my old guardian after all and one of my better students." Shadow said as he himself pulled out another cig and lit up. That wa smore of a hbbit for him, smoking along with other people, the smoking itself he rarly did. he then cleared his throught, "good, good. if they are ever down this neck of the wood I can teach them a thing or do. Remember we have a half dragon living here and I can make a construct of one to give them a little experiance before hand.... or scare them to hell. I am glad to hear you are off the stuff. I don't want to have to patch you up like that again, bloody annoying." Shadow said before laughing at the last part of what Nadea had said. "She is keeping me out of trouble when she can but as you know I am far more trouble than I am worth at times." he turned to Selena again and patted her hand a little. "You just put the ring on and it works, trust me. I'll come out into the light with you so we can have a little time alone with one another were most of the others cannot go. I am sure you could manage to get up in time for a nice sunrise with me. I am sure of it." Shadow said confidently, he knew she would be able to if it ment seeing the sun again. "I did not forget, Nadea is just hard to find... seriously. nadea can be standing right infront of you and not notice at times." Shadow shrugged helplessly as he was being assaulted on both sides by Nadea and Selena "Tonight I am all yours yes. You have been lookign forward to that i know."

Samantha smiled lightly as her blush darked a bit and said "Just so you know i only think ill slap you if you slap yourself" she said with a small smiled, she out her head against his chest before she said "Considering you still hold back i think you right" she said before she said "Okay its offical im embarassed beyond belief" she said lightly with a small laughed before she kissed him lightly

Shadow nodded to nadea, "I do not think Vickilyn will be around... no one has heard from her in a while now, not even me." Shadow said with a sigh. teh thought that vickilyn had been gone for so long pained him slightly, she was a good friend to him and took him in when no one else would. She showed him only kindess even though he was an utter b*****d at times. "Well, just tell me before hand and I'll make something up to scare those kids of yours. You know I can do it and it would be nice to see those little ones again." Shadow said as he cracked his neack. "There is a shovel over there Nadea," Shadow pointed, "Make sure to put it back you know I hate buying these things. Those humans always ask so many questions." he said with a small laugh. Shadow just smiled at Selena and took her hand as he stood up, "You will be fine Selena and you shouldn't feel different." He said as he walked with her outside. "I am sure it is okay Selena, open your eyes and witness what you have not seen in over 500 years. It is a nice day to be out and about." Shadow said before lightly kissing Selena's cheek.

Kashan smiled away as he listened to Sam talk and he lauged a little bit while slitening, "Well you knwo I am not going to be holding back any longer. If you want me to I will take you right now and shwo you what I mean." he said and knew she would probably end up a deeper shade of red from that little comment. "Embaressed beyond belife you say? Damn I must be good if i made you that way or did you do that to yourself?" he joked.

Samantha felt her face go dark red, a crimson or scarlety color as he spoke before she said "Kashan... i dont the ability em embarass myself other than the lights and being on quordinated.. .this was all you" she said before her face darkened only slightly and she smiled slightly and kissed him, she deepened it slightly before saying "Did that answer your question?" she asked in a quiet, soft voice

Shadow laughed a little bit at hearing what Selena had said, "You will get used to the light in a time bu take your time and it will be worth it." Shadow said and now listened to the excitment in Selena's voice and feeling her hug him tightly. "No need to thank me Selena, I wanted to share this with you. Think of it as a gift to you, an expression of my feelings." Shadow said as he hugged her back and then shortly after, felt himself being dragged to the forest. "This is our time Selena and out time alone. We can do this as often as you want and one day we will watch the sun rise from the roof. And yes, you do look different in the sunlight. There is a little more colour to you here." Shadow said.

Kashan nodded and smiled lightly, "Well, I am proud to know that I can cause you to feel in such a way." He said as he held her tight to him and felt a kiss. He returned the kiss, deepening it as much as he was alowed to before she broke it. "Yes.... that did answer my question and you knwo what?" Kashan said as he ligted Sam off the ground, "You are going to find out exactly what I can do now." he smiled as he moved to the bed again.
