Speaking of which, Jollibee probably copied its chicken burger from McDonalds, but I like theirs better since it's not crunch but it's definitely tastier.

Everything that has to do with Jollibee is tastier than McDonalds. Maybe it's a habit of our people to make everything stronger in tastes?

Or perhaps seeing as how McDonalds is a foreign establishment the taste is too different sometimes? Like KFC.

Exactly. My mom cooks in our restaurant from time to time and she would always complain about how Filipinos (even though she is one, too) always make food that is too strongly flavored. My mom is used to European cooking since her late husband was British. Like our Filipino version of spaghetti. Oh I know you know how we do it. XD

True, but perhaps it's because our dishes are different? Rice on its own doesn't really taste that good so the dishes must have a strong enough flavor to make up for it, otherwise the dish is bland.
