Fang wakes up, still feeling the pain in his chest. oddly, he felt a warm sensation in the corner of his mind. to his shock, he realizes it's Matsuki. he can feel her emotions and knows if she's hurt or scared. interesting.

Fang feels what's happening, and sends thoughts into her mind. "Calm down Matsuki. I will protect you." along with the thoughts comes a feeling of being held, a warm and gentle feeling. "shhhhh. everything will be all right."

he hugs her back. "no. not yet. he needs to speak to hobo first. and he's not back from his mission yet." he lets her go and pulls himself into a sitting position. "so how are you? what caused you so much fear?"
