Looking down at her, he wished he had been there to help her brother. "Did the soldier rape you?" The words left his mouth before he could stop them. Tensing up a little, he prayed the answer was no, but he couldn't be sure until she told him. "Did he sexually attack you? And how old were you?"

Amaya just burst out crying as she nodded her head. She couldn't even bring up the words to say 'yes'. "I-I was eight.." She cried as she buried her head into his chest again.

His eyes widened a little more as he did a few calculations in his head. "Oh no..." Holding her still, he closed his eyes, praying her next answer was a no. "W-was it Lucius?" The mistake of raping a little girl was one made only by new soldiers. If his calculations weere correct, Lucius would have been in his first year as a soldier when she was eight. He prayed to God that it wasn't Lucius, he didn't want to give him the punishment.

Amaya just stood there quietly as she stared at the ground, unable to answer his question. She didn't want to tell Roran , because she knew it would hurt him for her to say it. "It was so long ago that it really doesn't matter who it was." She told him as she tried to smile, but the pain and sorrow was clear in her eyes.

Amy, gasped as she saw that she was lying in dead blood. She grunted in disgust, looking around, and moving an arm or a leg that was in the way, but since he was holding her down, she shwallowed and tried to like it, but after a while she couldn't "yea, sorry if I don't share your hobbies, but this is simply disgusting beyond all borders" she said...

Unable to see her eyes, he needed to know. "Please, Amaya. I need to know. Was it Lucius or not, because it does matter. Even if it was that long ago, he broke a law, he broke his oath, he needs to be punished, whoever it was. I need to know if it was Lucius, if not, then who?"

As she said the words, it hit hard. His mentor, his father's best friend, his most loyal guard, had raped his fiancee when they were all younger. But what hurt the most, is what Roran had to do to Lucius now, and how the love Roran had for the soldier, was now a burning, passionate hate. "We need to go," he stated, hiding all emotion from his voice. "First, though, you need to tell me how he raped you. Did he hold you down, tie you down, and with what? His hands, arms, legs, I need to know."

"Okay, okay," Roran immediatly got his caring tone back. "I know it must be hard to talk about it. Take your time. I just need to know how it happened, how he was able to keep you down." Kissing the top of her head, he still had her enveloped in his arms. "Take your time, my dear, it's okay now. It's okay."

Moving away from her a little, he lifted her head up. Placing a kiss on her lips, he put his forhead to hers. "Sh, sh. That's enough, my love." Bringing one of his hands from her back, he wiped away her tears, pecking her forhead afterwards. "We need to go now," he stated softly.

She slowly nodded and then motioned to Crow for the horse to walk over. As soon as she did, she got up on the horse's back and stared at the ground, waiting for Roran to get on as she sat quietly.

Climbing onto the horse behind Amaya, he held onto her waiste. Restingher head gently on her shoulder he sighd. "He'll get what he deserves by law, plus more from me," he assured her.

She nodded quietly and then lightly kicked Crow's sides, making the horse walk back to the forest temple. Once they got into the clearin, all the people had already gone back to their homes to try to fix everything and the soldiers were in town still, tending to the wounded and dead. But Lucius and Syra's five best warriors were hanging around the temple and Amaya shivered as she spotted him, causing Crow to feel it and stop her movement.
