Rei nodded to Anton in appreciation, he then said in the low whisper tone, "Ah I see. It makes sence now. At least everyone is aware of our presence." This seems like a very traditional village to Rei, he admired the architecture surrounding him. It was just a matter of waiting for her to finish her symbolic 'dialogue'.

As Edge looked at the door he began to realise it might be hopeless to keep pondering about it's design. "Areno could you move back and look for any clues that might tell us how this door works? Without any kind of lever or switch it's very difficult to think they wouldn't put something here to open it?"

Areno lifted an eyebrow at Edge and absorbed the bone back into his body. "Very well. Report any changes immediately." The Kaguya youth turned on his heel and began to retrace their steps back into the tunnel they'd originally entered from.

Hinata-sama ~*~in the forest~*~ ::the sound continued for a moment longer before dieing out. There was a rustle in the trees and then a person was kneeling infront of the now dead fire, his head down, a staff in his hand, a bandana tied over his hair, he looked up from his kneeling position, a puzzled look on his face:: You were the threat?
arrow Forest Mission
".. Yeah." Humbra smiled, looking the staff using person. "Do you know where we could find an item we were sent to find? Buki-sensei said that we should find a certain person by the name of Hidetada. Do you know him?"

::except for the palm sized panel (dee description from previous post) there seemed to be nothing further back along the tunnel. Though, on close inspection, the panel the Areno found on the wall and the one that Oni found would look identical, except for some subtle differences in the symbols found in the center of a circle of other symbols::

I'd love to hear the rest of your story, but I seriously need to get that item Buki talked about and become a Gennin. "Well.. Hello, Hidetada. Can you tell me where a certain item is? Buki said that you'd know where it is." He eyed the person near the put out fire," And the way you greet people probably scares most off, I think. What was that, anyways? It sounded like a monkey getting it's skin ripped off along with it's intestines."

Kaji listened to Anton's explaination and nodded his head to showed that he understood. It still would be nice if I could hear what she is saying, thought Kaji with a silent sigh. His legs were falling asleep from standing so much, he neded to move them or else they would go numb. He looked at Rei and saw that he was just looking around the building from where he stood. Kaji sighed as he muffled his stomach growling, but echoed a small bit in the quiet great hall. It was noon.

Kat waited for an answer from him. She wanted to know if this strange person had any information on this item. She decided to intoduce herself. "Kat Takahashi." She announced proudly.

A name is a start, But I beleive that you take your instructions too literally. If you told someone to find something, would you beleive them if they just returned and said they found it, with no proof what so ever?

Those were the animals. They don't appreciate certain things happening in the forest, and you seemed to have done something that warned them that you were up to no good and thats why they asked me come here. You noticed that once the fire was out, they no longer sounded the alarm? Its meant to scare most people away and is in no way a greeting
::he turned towards the forest now, starting to move away, staff held over both shoulders, arms laying over it lazily::
Certain item, you say? There are many items that I know about, saying certain is not very specific now is it?

Seeing no point in trying to understand what the woman was saying, Kasushi closed his eyes and waited until someone would start speeking. He didn't want to look like he was disrespecting the "speaker", so he did not lean against one of the walls.

Areno rubbed his chin and then walked back a bit. "Edge, step away from the door... preferably off to the side. I've found this odd panel that looks like a handprint. Perhaps it will open the door." Areno headed back to the panel to do exactly that.

Kat wanted to finish this mission. She addressed Hidetada. "Nice to meet you." She nodded once. "But Buki-sensei said that you would know what item we were talking about when we got located you." She folded her arms across her chest. She didn't want this to be a wild goose chase so to speak.

"Ok but becareful I don't want another trap going off in such a confined spot." His concerns he felt were justified due to the recent goings on in this tunnel. He moved far enough back from the door to hopefully avoid anything within arms reach of the door.
