Tirion My week of hell officially starts in about 9 minutes. Working 52 hours. I'm thinking that I'm going to be spending a lot of time sleeping. Not straight right? I think there are laws about that....

I think there are laws about that.... I don't think so. I worked 112 hours in a two week pay period and 60 hours of it was in a row (5 12 hour shifts).

I would quit if I was told I had to work that much. And I like my job.

I hope you at least get paid like double time after 12 hours or something We do but it's rare that we ever need to go over 12 hours. I wasn't forced to work that much, I chose to work that much. I signed up for a bunch of extra shifts so I could pay my mom back for my car's paint job and transmission. Usually, I only work 48 hours a pay period. Just part time. Working 5 12's though you just get up, work, go home, patch yourself up, and go back.

But, we may or may not go on a Cruise. In a year or two I would like to. smile

I think there are laws about that....Nah, just in 8.5-10 hour chunks a day. Only reason it sucks so badly is that normally it's 3 Meat Room Workers doing a job that should take 4, and this week we only have 2. Makes things a lot more hectic.

Ah yes this makes much more sense. Have you decided what part of Canada you want to go to? Cuz, *sings* Canada's really big! (Arrogant Worms, look it up, it's funny)

(Arrogant Worms, look it up, it's funny) No, I don't really have a specific destination. I would like to stay close to the border though because that's where everyone else is unless there is particular site seeing that I should, well see. Sadly, I don't know much about Canada.
