Lacuna sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.
"He seems pretty.. happy to me..", she said with a scratchy voice, pain in her heart.
"I miss you so much love.", she kissed him lightly on his cheek.

"Not true love....he's happier than he was, but he cant be truly happy without you. Neither of us can."
Turning her face with a gentle touch, his lips caressed hers tenderly, his words soft against them. "I miss you too my angel, more than you could know."

Lacuna smiled and let small tears escape her unwillingly. She hugged Jakkin closely, never wanting to let go. Why couldn't she be with him?

Jak tilted her face up to his, gently kissing her tears away.
"Please dont cry beautiful." He gazed into her eyes, kissing her tenderly.

An overwhelming happiness filled Lacuna and the faint glow, from in her room, returned to her fingers tips again. Lacuna had her eyes closed tightly absorbing her Jakkin's soft touch. Oh how happy it made her to be with her love.. She had missed him so..

Aura finished cleaning up the sketch of the two dancing in front of her then got up to head towards the bar. Setting her paper and pencil down she giggled softly and rolled her eyes before turning around again and walking towards Jordyn at the bar.
"Don't do anything to hurt them, or their other friend, Aurora." Jordyn crossed his arms and glanced sideways at Aura as she leaned against the bar next to him. Looking at him and taking his scotch out of his hand to take a sip she rolled her eyes. "Must you expect the worst of me? I can appreciate real love too, y'know." Shrugging he nodded slightly at her and then returned his attention to a newspaper clipping he had pulled out while watching Laci and Jak. Aura set his glass down and stared off into space.

"I like you too..", she said brushing his cheek with a single finger tip until it met his lips. She suddenly opened her eyes leaving her finger at his lips and smiled.
"I love you darling, I love you..", she said desperately before kissing him firmly.

The music ended as they kissed, lost in their own music. When their feet touched the floor, Jak pulled back from her lips to gaze into her eyes.
"Shall we sit down my love? I'll get us a drink."

Lacuna nodded, clinging to his hand tightly. She was oddly in need of him. It was obvious she didn't want him to leave her side.

Jak cupped her cheek with his hand, his thumb sliding gently over her lips before leading her to the bar to order two apple martinis.

Lacuna smiled happily at Jak. She was alot happier than she had been for the last couple days. She was more at peace, even if it was momentarily, being with Jak. She knew not of what to say- only knew that she had to be with Jakkin. She needed it, and her heart would not allow otherwise. Why had she pushed Suru and Jakkin together? Why hadn't she fought it with all of her heart? Lacuna jerked her head away from the front of her body to her shoulder in thought about it. She closed her eyes tightly trying to fight the thoughts of unhappiness away.

Jak gently pulled his hand out of hers to pick up their drinks. Sensing the sudden tenseness in her, his eyes went to hers as he frowned in concern. He put the drinks down, pulling her into his arms to kiss her gently. "No more tears angel."

She wrapped her arms around him not wanting to let go. She held to him tightly almost in silent, but uncontrolable tears. She tried to fight them off harder now, not wanting to ruin her temporary time with him, but was having a rough time trying to do so.
"No more tears..", she choked out.
