=+(MusicBox)+= Bah, he'd simply keep his mouth shut about her previous comments. He'd only lived up there for a while, he wasn't sure about life elsewhere. That'd didn't go to say that he didn't believe in the aliens. He would allow his arm to easily swing with hers as they neared the arcade. And what was this about invetable doom!? He would give a smirk, taking his gaze down to Mimi. "Phsh! I bet I could beat you in there!" Baha, sure.. Hakan never really played video games very much, but that didn't stop his arrogance from taking over! Ah, so you would like to wager eh? -Oh, phoey, like she was going to win. Videogames were not her genre but hell, a little competition did no harm to anybody when it came to such things. It was upon entering the establishment that the girl had her second guesses. First of all, the whole evening had been too quiet. Maybe she was simply being too paranoid, eh? She hesitated, looked up at Hakan and then stepped in. Maybe, just maybe, there would be a calm night at the Hyde, no?-

Duellist The vampiric assassin tossed and turned in his sleep... ~~ Just general feelings came to him. Even vampires can forget, and these events had happened long ago... in another life-time... ~~ Shouting... the trenches... up and over... Death or Glory!... the Colonel leading them on... a heat exploding in his side, the ground opening up beneath them... explosions... Blackness. ~~ Light. Wavery, strange. A face. Seen on the opposing lines often. Some Austrian observer... the accent strange... "It was you who killed my friend, Lieutenant... and in exchange... I'm going to give you life..." Blackness again. Pain... pleasure... then a fading, and a strengthening... And a sense of loss... ~~ Duellist shot up, suddenly. Besides him, Taryn's eyes opened wide. "Is something wrong?" She asked, sleepily. Her eyes flashed momentarily from their normal dark colour to a pale grey before she blinked. The assassin shook his head. "Just... just going to clear my head..." he kissed her, and she drifted back to sleep. Duellist waited until she was off in dreams again, and then he walked to his chest, flipping it open and grabbing his black purse out from it. ~~ He appeared on top of an observation deck in the amusement park, and watched the sun set. As he did, he opened up the wallet and pulled out a medal, turning it over and over again, catching the weak rays of the setting sun on it. "This special posthumous award is for an act of valour by Lieutenant First-Class Alexander Assassin of His Majesty's Imperial Expeditionary Forces in the battle of the Somme..." ((Bah. I'm too nice, I swear...))

Yeah, Mimi was being far too paranoid! Or was it Hakan who was too relaxed? Either way, a good fun night would definetly do at least he and Mimi some good. "So whaddya say?" He would ask, flashing her a cheerful grin.][es, we do need to buy Taryn a whip. ninja ][
