Leo tried to calm himself down, he couldn't lie to Raki anymore. He stayed quiet for a little while as he tried to find the right words. "I haven't stopped thinking about him since everything started." he whispered softly, trembling a little and trying to find the bed again to sit down. "I'm.....I'm a little dizzy..."

When Leo told him that he was dizzy, Raki wasn't sure if it meant he was getting a vision or if he was tired. He decided to assume the former. "That might mean something. Now, try to focus your thoughts on Big Brother. If I'm correct, you'll get a vision soon. If you manage to focus your thoughts on him, you'll be able to see what he is doing right now," he instructed. He just hoped this would all work.Chase yawned as they traveled further into the country of Mexico. They should be near Leo now, but he wasn't sure just how much farther they should go. "Do you suppose we should stop at the next city?" he asked the others. He feared that they might pass the Triforce gang by, but there was also a possibility that the gang was still traveling and it would be too risky to stop somewhere.

Leo tried to focus but his head hurt too much to focus on much of anything. "Please stop...it hurts!" he whined, holding his head in his hands. "Just let me do this alone..." he strained, wondering if his brain was doing this on purpose or if it was Raki's vocal instructions that was aiding this reaction.Rin continued to stare out the window, feeling completely helpless when she felt her sister nudge her arm and give her a visual command that only the two of them understood. She gave a soft nod and closed her eyes, resting her head against the window just in case. It took a little while but she soon found her connection had opened a little. Rin pushed the connection to open a bit wider and soon was able to see through Leo's eyes. "Leo is okay." she said softly. "We're getting a little closer I think. Keep going."

Raki hesitated. He remembered his grandfather stated it was unwise to stop guiding a visionary once an inkling of a vision was established. While it was unclear what was really causing it, he still couldn't stop. "I can't do that. It's a bad idea if I stopped at this stage," he explained. It was also a bad idea to keep a visionary restrained, for that matter. He would have to expect a seizure, which meant Leo would have to be free and himself a distance away from him. Before saying another word, he took the tape off the other boy's wrists and legs. "I know it's stupid for me to say, but trust me. I'm really trying to help you." The next step was for Leo had to imagine their brother. He wasn't sure how long the other boy had been blind or if their brother had changed his appearance since then, so a description might be needed. "Do you know what Big Brother looks like? He's got this weird spiked black hair that half-sticks out in one direction and partly droops over his face and sorta big eyes that look like they're glaring at someone all the time. That's a start." He waited for a reaction.
Raki suddenly noticed there was something off with Leo's eyes. It was as if they were focused on something. Was it Leo's vision working? Or was someone else looking through there. He remembered Rin could see through other people if she tried. If she was the one seeing through Leo, that meant Legion was nearby. "Too close, too close," he found himself muttering.Chase nodded and continued on. "Let me know when to get off the freeway," he said. He was relieved to hear that Leo was fine, but he was concerned about what would happen by the time everything was over. Would they all get out alive? Would they all get out sane?

Rin removed her connection with Leo, it was difficult to keep the connection wide enough for her to get through. "I'm not sure where he is, he's inside a building somewhere. Just keep going straight for now I guess." she said softly. "I couldn't keep the connection for very long. I'll try again in a few minutes."Leo kept trying this but it was very difficult, the description of his brother was helping him create an image in his mind. After a few minutes he heard a sharp pop from all the way in the back of his head and suddenly the shadows he saw started to gain a little color and form. Everything was a little fuzzy but he could definitely see the floor was brown and wooden, then he looked up at Raki and gave a small smile. "I-I can see.....a little." he said softly, only seeing a fuzzy outline of the boy in front of him.

Raki waved his hand in front of Leo's face to confirm his claim. "At least we know it works. What do you see?" he asked with a small smile. Some part of him questioned just how well of an idea this was. Before long, Leo might start seeing things in front of him and he might have a chance to escape. It would be useful for the next day if something were to happen and Raki couldn't help him, but today was not a good day to regain sight. Well, it was too late to rethink now.

He could see Raki's hand waving in front of him and followed it a little, though he couldn't see distinct figures the hand was close enough to his eyes that he could make out the fingers. "Not much." he said softly. "But I can see colors and better shaped figures." he said softly, feeling a little light-headed now but at least his head didn't hurt anymore. Rin's ears perked up a little when she felt a strong connection open up between her and Leo. She tapped back into the connection and noticed Leo was seeing colors but she decided to leave that out since it wasn't too important. "I still can't find where he is." She said softly, deciding to tap into Raki's mind this time. Raki! Please don't do this! Tell us where you are so we can get Leo!

Raki was about to comment, but then he heard Rin in his mind. They must be within city premises. Somehow, he felt rather hurt, but decided not to dwell on it. Tomorrow. He'll come back to you tomorrow, he said, no longer wishing to keep them away. They were no longer fooled. They knew everything, so maybe it was better to make compromises rather than alienate them from his plans. He needed to rethink his plan in such a way that it would still work, but without Leo. He already had Orion's trust. It might be enough. Maybe tonight if all goes well. Go to the nearest city exit and find a hotel. It was getting harder to keep his thoughts clear. I just need him for a little while longer. Until I no longer need him. Then I'll bring him back to you. If he wasn't careful, Rin would know everything. The flood of ideas, hypothetical situations, and longings was about to invade the conversation. The most prominent was his desire to go home.

Rin opened her eyes when she heard Raki reply back to her but she wasn't sure what to do now. She couldn't lie to everyone and Raki sounded really sincere, maybe they would get Leo back safe and sound. She gave a soft sigh and broke the connection. "Find a hotel nearby." she said softly, ignoring the surprised stare from her sister and knowing Asher wasn't happy about this decision either..Leo didn't see Raki move for a few minutes and wondered if something was wrong, maybe Rin was talking to him like Leo experience when he first met her. "Is everything okay? You're really quiet."

"Find a hotel? Just how close are we?" Asher questioned, trying not to make too harsh a demand. "Why that decision all of a sudden?" They must have been at least a little close if Rin had been able to determine that Leo was in some kind of room. That meant the Triforce gang had stopped somewhere. It was just their exact location that they didn't know.Raki could only be honest now. "They're here. They caught up with us," he whispered and suddenly found no strength to sit up. "You'll go home soon. One more day, maybe only a few hours." He found himself trembling again because he couldn't say anything for himself. He might have been overthinking it, perhaps he was just crazy at the moment, but he was sure Legion only came to take Leo home. Only Leo.

Rin tried not to make eye contact with anyone, knowing she would spill the beans if she looked everyone in the eye. "Just trust me....Raki has a plan, he's going to return Leo to us either tonight or tomorrow." She said softly, drawing more inside herself with the added stress."Return him tomorrow..? Rin he kidnapped Leo!! How do you know he won't return Leo in a body bag!?" Elsa yelled, feeling very disappointed in her sister. "Are you stupid or something!? If Raki is with Leo then we need to find out where they are and bust their door in!!"

Chase made his way to the nearest exit, but could not help joining in. "Rin, Elsa's got a point. As much as I hate to doubt the kid, we can't forget that he's with the Triforce gang and is the reason this mess started," he said. "I'm going to assume you contacted Raki very recently. Did he say anything about returning Leo alive?""Did you forget Raki's notes?" Asher reminded. "We can't be sure he's completely on their side.""Doesn't it seem too stupid that he left those notes in the first place? Those notes would jeopardize a mission as complex as this Operation: Parasite. For all we know, they were only a distraction meant to throw us off," Chase narrowly avoided hitting a curb. "We can't let Leo stay there any longer than is possible for us to rescue him. Who knows what Raki is planning!" He pulled into the parking lot of one of the hotels. "On the other hand, who am I to say? Rin and Elsa, the two of you and Daniel know Raki best. Which do you suppose is more likely? Is he a traitor who is some master of deception? Or is he some double-agent whose intentions are ultimately good?"

Elsa didn't want to reply, she knew if she opened her mouth she would only upset her sister more and that could be disastrous. Elsa turned toward Daniel, as did Rin, looking for insight on what to do. Even they didn't know Raki very well but Daniel has been with Raki nearly his whole life.

Daniel should have expected to be the one to answer. "In all honesty, it could go either way. Raki has been trained to master deception and twist circumstances to make himself look like an ally or an enemy. It's for that reason that he succeeds as a spy," he explained, trying not to glance at Asher, who he was sure was glaring at him. What else was he to say now? He felt he didn't even know Raki anymore. The boy had been growing distant ever since he told him about his brother. Disinterest in spy-related things, insensitive to Leo, secretive even more than normal, it was as if Raki was a whole other person, but Daniel had to admit he had been relieved when Samuel had translated the notes. There was at least one thing that didn't change about his grandson. Now that he thought about it, Raki had also felt terrible about the arcade ambush, though whether or not it was his fault was still questionable.
His eyes widened with a realization. "However, I have now realized there seems to be a pattern of fatal flaws in his work. For one, he hates hurting anyone he cares about. The guilt can cause him to drop his act at the worst of times. He also always tries to leave the truth around for someone, usually me, to find, especially when on a secret mission." Daniel the turned to look at Rin. "His greatest weakness is the tone of his mind. He may keep a certain face or steady voice, but his inner voice has always been too truthful. Therefore, the only way to truly know is through you, Rin. When you contact him, what does he sound like?"

Rin tried to remember what he sounded like. "He sounded sure of himself....maybe a little scared." she said softly, hoping Raki had control of what was going on over there. "I think we should trust him, at least for the night." She knew this statement would be met with some doubt as well.Elsa scoffed and gave a scournful smile at Daniel but it seemed like they were going to do as Rin suggested. "I don't have to listen to this..." she mumbled stubbornly and scrambled across her sister's lap to stand in the parking lot, slamming the door behind her.
