I want to bait your boyfriend into kicking my a**, Hartley thought to himself. He shook his head and manufactured a smile. At least the eye candy was improved this time around...
"Shopping and clubbing it is. Give you a chance to see how the other half lives!"
He gave Cassie a sweeping bow as he held the door open for the temporary boy.

It quickly became obvious as they walked off the campus and towards town that Hartley was the fifth wheel. He kept to the back of the party, running a hand through his hair and seemed lost in thought.
