Sora had only smiled when Kairi thanked him for the punch, having been too busy thinking about the pictures they would take to really say anything. The redhead then led the group to a nearby, empty table, where she sat her cup down and started arranging Ari and Blink in a photogenic way. He watched off to the side, sipping on his punch as his girlfriend put the two close together and told them to say cheese and snapped their photo, then went ahead to snapping a picture of all of their friends in the gym. A couple times he couldn’t see who she was taking a picture of, so he supposed she was just enjoying the scenery. After a moment, she returned to his side, handing him the camera and asking him what he thought.
”Hmm, well, let me see,” he replied, taking the device and pressing the button to flip through the pictures. They were really good for the distance and lighting of the gym, and he was happy to see how great of a time all of his friends were having, as was evident in the pictures. ”These are great, Kairi!”

Sora started to turn the camera off, but then got an idea. He lowered it for a moment, as if thinking about something. He then turned to smile at Kairi.
”Come here,” he told her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her next to him. He turned his head so that it was against hers and held the camera up, making sure to switch it to picture mode before aiming it at themselves. He snapped a photo and loosened his grip on the crimsonette a little to better control the camera. He put it back on playback mode and showed her the picture he’d just taken of the two of them.
”There, perfect!” he grinned, turning to look at her again. He started to hand the camera back to her, but then at the last second released her waist and took a step back, taking a quick, candid photo of her. He looked at what he’d just taken and laughed, handing her the camera back. ”Okay, here you go. You can get me back sometime, I guess.” He didn’t really want her taking surprise pictures of him, since he often times looked silly. But it would be fun for the laughs later, and he hoped that they could get candid photos of all their friends and start a funny collection. That was his new goal for the night, anyway.

Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Rikia crossed her arms over her chest, tapping her foot against the ground. She was beginning to grow impatient. Where in the world was her 'date?' Her fangs flashed as she scowled, but she quickly closed her mouth. No one had been around to see her. No one was back in this area. Everyone was inside. Which was where she should be at the moment. "Aros, Aros. My patience is drawing thin," the Dark Princess whispered to the shadows around her. After a moment, she sensed a surpressed dark power and turned to look at it. A boy with normal, flat brown hair was heading towards her. If Rikia hadn't known any better, she wouldn't know who it was. Except being a master of Illusion, she knew how to see right through them. "Aros." She purred as a greeting, her voice only low enough for him to hear her.

He started out by a smiple greeting, and Rikia knew it was in case there was anyone to overhear. He approached her, hands in his pockets and when he spoke again, his voice was lowered and there was a more severe expression upon his face. Rikia only sighed and rolled her eyes as though she was bored. Upon hearing his next few sentences, Rikia grinned. "I've just met you today, my dear. Why would I share any secrets with you. I'm a lone being, Aros. I keep secrets and don't trust blindly, nor easily. Get over it, darling. That's just how I work." Rikia said with a seductive and cocky grin. "Honestly, let us have our fun. All I'm after is Kairi's heart. When our plan is through, I'll oblige to go along with whatever it is you wish. So be a good sport." Rikia said with a giggle. "Now, let's go and play along before we take down our prey, shall we? I've grown awfully bored of sitting in the shadows."

lakayna's feet started to move. She let the music flow through her; feeling it vibrate in her bones. Her body moved to the jazzy beat, into a sort of swing dance. Axel looked like he wasn't sure what to do, and promptly said 'lead on 'kayna. Now she had a nickname. Lakayna smiled. "Just let the music flow through you and let loose," she said. She was saying to Axel to let himself move to the music without thinking, and to not try to think of how you should be moving to it.

Enid looked around and decided it was time.
She walked onto the stage and grabbed the microphone.
Here goes nothing, hope it goes right she thought.
"Okay everyone, i hoped you enjoyed the dance but now its time to announce the king and queen" she said as many faces turned towards her.
"Okay this years King and queen are.... Sora and kairi!" she said beaming.
"Give em a big hand and come get your crowns" she said clapping.
she scratched her head a little showing the rest to put the plan into action. "And as a change from last year the Princes and princess are,Blaise, Riku, Blink, Namine, Marluxia, Mildred, Hikari, Alexander, Roxas, Lakayna, Skylar, Axel, Xion, Olette, Ari, Xia, and Quest" She said also

As Kairi continued drinking her punch and planning on what kind of pictures she'd get, she saw a girl take the stage and grab the microphone. She said that it was time to announce the King and Queen of the Christmas Ball. The crimsonette perked up upon hearing this and began looking around the room hoping some of her friends would be chosen. The girl began saying "Okay this year's King and Queen are.... " She paused for a moment and then said Kairi and Sora's names. Whatever the girl had said after that Kairi never heard, because the moment she heard her name announced she began choking on her punch. Her first reaction when she heard her name was to spray what was in her mouth all out, but that wouldn't have been pretty, so she quickly swallowed it, causing her drink to go down her throat incorrectly. She promptly set her cup down, turned away, and began coughing. After a few moments the red head regained herself, and turned back to Sora, Ari, and Blink. The Princess then flushed with embarrassment as she saw that everyone in the gym was looking at her and the Keyblade Master, applauding them. Well she had just made a total idiot of herself in front of the entire school. Are they sure she's suppose to be the Queen?

The crimsonette tried her best to forget the embarrassing moment she just had, though she was finding it hard with so many eyes on her, and put on a sweet smile. Kairi then moved and stood by her boyfriend, taking his hand. She lifted her head to gaze intently into his deep blue eyes, trying to forget the embarrassment and the crowd around them, and said over the clapping in nervous and surprised voice for only her boyfriend to hear, "Umm wow... I-I wasn't expecting this at all. I'm glad that we were chosen together though. I wouldn't want anyone to but you, Sora, to be my King." Kairi blushed after telling him that, but she kept her eyes on the brunette's. The Princess, and now Queen for a night, grinned and half laughed, "We should probably go up, huh?"

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

The dance with Axel had been fun. He'd managed to let loose and just flow with the music. No sooner had the pair stopped dancing did a blonde girl Lakayna didn't recognize get up on stage, announcing that it was time to crown the king and queen. She then announced Sora and Kairi's name. A wide smile spread acorss her face as Lakayna turned to the princess and keyblade master. Like the other's she began to clap as well. "Yeah! Way to go!"the dragoness shouted over the other voices, though it was probably lost within the clapping anc cheering. The girl wasn't finished though, for she announced the names of several people who'd been crowned as princes and princesses. Lakayna's mouh fell opened as her name was called; her's, Axel's, Riku's Olette's and the names of all the friends she'd made. Even Marluxia's name had been called; though Lakaynma didn't consider him a freind. Why though? Why some many people? And why some of the less popular of to student population?

Lakayna was brought back to her senses when she heard Quest's voice beside her, asking if they'd been called up as well. The lavendernette closed her mouth and turned her eyes towards Quest. "I still don't believe it, but yes," she replied to Quest, "So...do we just go up there?"

Blaise.
I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong.
The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.

"Well yeah, it kind of does. I mean, today's my first day, yet I was called as well. Something must be going on." Blaise told Xia. "I think you're right Xia." he added in. Now that he thought about it, the only people that knew him were Xia, and Sky. Not to mention Sora and some of his friends. So why was he chosen? Something really did seem off to him.
