Chronos looked to the new girl. "Believe what you want, you were destined to undergo the trials of becoming gods. The first step is for your crystals to mature and for all of you to become elemental sages, such as Debido, Kusargi and Yuure," he paused again for dramatic effect, "After you have been united with all of the sages, the true trials will under go. Only after you face the hardships ahead will you be able to become gods." He turned to Hito now. "The spirit of your element will make itself clear, but you should already be showing signs of leaning to the element." he was indicating to Sugar's combustion, Hito's strong religious respect, and the new girl's sparking hair.

Kusargi felt herself pass out as her Elemental Spirit came out with a sigh of relief, but also shock and hurt.
"Hello Chronos. Nice of you to let me know you were coming." She looked at her human. "Sorry, but it was necessary."

Kai just half smiled, "You know I was almost believing you for a minute there.. but something like me probably isn't godlike material.. I can see it with Shina...and maybe Kuroi if demon's can become a god." He basically had it set in his head since he remembered, a science weapon project couldn't be anything but a weapon.

((Kuro i've stared at your 'smack' siggy pic for about 2 min straight..xD My brain is fried... working on 2 essays one due tomorrow, the other due next wed for a scholarship, and then also homework for 2 other classes.. plus working on the study guide..lol fried brains for me.... xD yeah.. I'm completely out of it..lol ))
Shina started to protest slightly to Kai, "You are only limiting yourself by speaking such words.."

Chronos faced Kai. "Kuroi is meant to replace the king, his race is one tainted with bloodlust and hatred, and the elemental spirits did not choose him for that reason. Those who are meant to be gods are to accept that fate." he glanced over at the elemental spirit of ice. "Why hello there spirit." he said taking a bow. "One second." he said after hearing Hito's suicide threat he looked over to him. "Hito, do me a favor and take a good long look at your blade."
Kuroi rolled his eyes. "Once again judged because of what father did....."

((lol, it's from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.. Reno got scared when Bahamut was summoned and forgot where Rude was.
and is Earth the only one left? MiLynn suggested Blood as a spirit for Kai but I forgot who had what. ~Is Darkness taken?~))
Kai glanced at Shina when she said that, his only response to her was a brief set smile. He looked at Hito and wondered what Harri Karri was.
