I actually meant it in the homosexual way but I use gay meaning bad or stupid all the time. I started using it more when I read this article that homosexuals were outraged by the new meaning of "their word". I got pissed at that point. Gay was never "their" word. It meant happy at one point and then the term started being used to mean a homosexual. Where does anyone get off being outraged that a word changed meanings especially if that word has a history of changing. So now I say it all the time. My little rebellion against the "gay" community. Sorry for the rant.

I'm sorry that you feel that way about the gay community. neutral Gay isn't anymore their word than straight is for heterosexual people. It's just come to be associated with these groups. I personally find that using 'gay' as a derogatory term is hateful because I take personal offense against it being a member of the gay community. For some people, they don't care what way it's used but for others they do.
I'm not trying to start an argument by any means but that's what I feel on that..
