(we shall rename him Greg! with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg! twisted I just found what could be considered a PERFECT theme for Jad... Calm like the Pyresians of the past with epic sounding music that turns into wild insanity... at 1:42 is surfer-esque music... Nuclear Flash.)

Marth continued to lean against the wall, until - a particular piece of information jumped out at him. After a few moments' consideration, Marth asked, "...What civilization? What race killed them?"
Blake faked a smile, then watched as Ion was carried away. Then his head tilted, as if in thought.
After a while, in silence, Blake asked, "Hey, Nina? I've... certainly got plenty of time now, if you wouldn't mind one of those stories about how you became captain."
Nolan nodded, turning back to face the computer as his partner walked away. After a few buttons pressed, a switch thrown, and a bobble head backhanded into movement, Nolan succeeded in sending out a communication link, all the while drifting steadily closer.

Nina blushed. "I guess... if you're really that interested... It all started back in the academy...
[insert flashback sequence]
A slightly younger looking Nina ran down the halls, her red hair tied back in a messy pony tail and her cheeks flush with colour. It looked as if she'd be late for class when she turned a corner and smashed into a rather muscular looking young man. "You should watch where you're going, petite." He smiled, mimicing an old x-men character from the 20th century. Nina blushed. "I'm sorry. I'm in a hurry!" She got up and ran down the halls and jumped down the stairs.
A few moments later, a young man barely wearing underwear ran down the hallway after her and he, too, smashed into the gentleman. "Whoa! Get out of my way!" He shouted.
"She's gone man. What's your problem?" The first man asked, helping the other guy up. "I picked that chick up at a bar last night! I caught her going through my pants. The b***h has got my wallet!" He growled then pushed the guy away, continuing to pursue Nina. "Get back here!" He shouted once Nina was in sight.
Nina squealed and ran out a pair of large doors labeled "Employees Only. Dangerous Area Ahead." When she looked around, she was outside in front of a large ship where she bumped once again into a man who looked like a scientist. "Ow hey! Oh, you must be that Captain from across the sea. Um... sorry I'm horrible with names..." Nina looked behind her to see the guy hadn't followed her in. "N-nina. My name's Nina."
"Nina, eh? Well it's a pelasure to have you aboard our team. I hope you've enjoyed your stay here at our academy." The gentlemen smiled and lead Nina away. Actually, she didn't even attend this school. She was a casual student at the community college for hairdressers who tended to pick up pilots for cash. But what had she gotten herself into this time? She was lead into a room where she was instructed to put on a suit.
"Good luck, Captain Nina. Welcome to your new home... She's called The Atlantis." The ships engines roared and the door shut behind her. "What?! But I'm not a-" and her voice was innterrupted by the roar of the engines as the ship took off into outer space.
And that's, uh... my story..." Nina cleared her throat. Her face was beet red with embarassment.

(LOL!)
Kaito looked at Marth, then said quietly, "The Agronians. A race with an appetite for destruction and strength in numbers. they killed the race with a single disease, genetically engineered to kill Pyresians in the most painful way possible... The Agronians were capable of holding lasting battles against Pyresian war fleets... We know more about them than we do the Pyresians..."
---
Jad opened up his comm viewscreen, throwing open a view to Nolan, "Hey! How'd you change your clothes man? and where'd you find a terminal to contact me like this in my ship?!" he asked, mistaking Nolan for Kaito.

((*blinks*
XD so the mystery is revealed... I had assumed that it would be somewhat less random than that... XD....))
Marth tilted his head, thinking. "Where is the location of the last known Agronian attack? And how many races have they subjugated or annihilated?"
~
Nolan blinked in surprise. "My name is Nolan Grey, officer of the Imperial Space Police and chief investigator of Captain Nina Armstrong. Who is this?"

[Hehe]
Mariel exited the room wearing a sleek, form fitting suit similar to Nina's except it was black. She looked at Nolan who was currently in conversation and doing his job as distraction. She went over to the decompression room, which was the size of a closet, actually, and waited as the ship adjusted the conditions in the room to match those of outer space. Once that was finished, she was ejected from the space ship. She used her skills to make her body completely invisible as she drifted towards the Atlantis.

(( rofl Nice story Nina's got there...xD))
"Okay! I'm ready to go any time!" Vexis said a bit over-enthusiastically, making it seem like she was hoping this would happen from the start. Vexis ran off in some random direction, then came back looking a bit embarrassed. "Uhm...which way is the exit?"
Victor just watched her run off, then pointed down the exact opposite direction from where she had originally tried running down. Then he started chuckling after she ran past him down the correct way this time (just as energetic as the first time). "That girl certainly is a piece of work..." He said shaking his head slightly, then looked back to Gunther. "Just don't let those Mutants kill her, alright?"
Shade pushed past Victor, not bothering to face him as he replied. "We'll see about that, she'll only survive as long as she stays out of my way."
Vexis rushed up the stairs hastily, then tried to force the large metallic door open, but no prevail. This door was simply too thick and too large for her to force herself through, obviously they made it this strong for a reason -protection from blizzards perhaps? "Why won't this thing open!?" Vexis whined as she tried to search for an alternate way to open it, but no keypads, doorknobs, or ID scanner type systems anywhere.
"Thats because it doesn't open like a normal door. And aren't you forgetting something?" Shade called out from behind her, carrying something with him. "Here, this is so you don't turn into a frozen meal for the Mutants on the journey." He explained a bit coldly, but wrapped the thick cape around Vexis's shoulders nonetheless. Shade stepped over towards the door, kneeling down by it's base. "Now, I'm only going to show you once, so pay attention." Vexis nodded, watching ever so closely. "Since we get tons of mutant attacks and blizzards around here, we need more secure doors to keep both out. You see where the floor is different? Thats the way to open this door, you just stand on that panel, and wait." Shade demonstrated by stepping on it himself, the large door opened to reveal the snowy wonderland outside. "Understand? Good, we're leaving." Shade immediately left the hallway, sinking down into the deep snowbanks, it was deeper than before -probably another blizzard had happened during the time they were inside.
Vexis leaped out after him, though it was a much more difficult task for someone of her scrawny physique. "Wait, aren't the Shivasai caverns the other way?" Vexis asked Shade, struggling to keep up with him.
"No. It would've been that way if we were still in Imparsa's territory, but this is the other side of Syberius. So it's this way from here."
Vexis looked amazed at this, he really carried her this far? All the way across Syberius? 'Why did he travel this far just to save me? Why didn't he just leave me behind?'

((Assuming it has been some time since Maggie's departure (and don't ask me how - logic isn't required in space) I think she'll be arriving now.))
Maggie was jolted out of her deep, subconscious dreams and nightmares by sudden turbulence. Stretching out of the ball she'd curled into, like a cat almost, Maggie flipped a switch, turning the computer hub out of standby. As the lights went from dim to bright, she lazily stretched more areas of her body, including an amazingly flexible stretch where she touched her feet - leaning backward, however, not forward.
Soon the emergency vessel caught on fire, since it was entering atmosphere, and created a bright, flaming light in the sky. Where she would land, nobody knew.

"Oh..." Was all Vexis could manage to say, before finally noticing something up in the sky. "What's that?" She asked, pointing up at the bright object.
"Huh?" Shade stopped to look up at where she was pointing, now noticing it as well. " 'What's that' you ask? Well, 'That, could be trouble,' is my answer..." He replied in a rather smart-assed manner. Shade pulled out his sword in an almost defensive kind of action, whatever was to come from that thing -he would be damn good and ready for it.
~ ((Maybe an un-official time skip happened for this side of the RP only? xD))
Layla had long ago abandoned the factory where she was building Eclipse, and was now just outside of the Shivasai cavern in Syberius. She had taken everything relating to Eclipse with her, leaving not a single trace of it's existence in Sentinel -she didn't want Erin or Jeremy finding it. Layla left the small ship she had used to get here, turning on it's cloaking device before entering the cavern. The harsh winds and frigid snow whirled all around her, all so familiar to Layla. 'Hopefully none of those mutants try to attack me in here...not that it'll matter much, I was vaccinated for their poison...its just a major hassle to kill them.' Layla entered the dark cavern entrance, everything was cast into complete darkness in here, only a very faint blue glimmering could be seen deep inside -the Shivasai crystals.

((NO! I would say that the combined power of Maggie's telekinetic ability, plus her psychogeist's amazing power, plus the power of random wormholes, might facilitate a warp in the flow of time, allowing Maggie to spend several days in the place of a few normal hours, BUT LOGIC DOES NOT APPLY IN SPACE!!! XD rofl !!!))
It was... cold. Maggie realized that her small little pod was meant to be picked up by emergency responding ships - not to crash land on any kind of planet. Of course, since she had disabled the distress beacon, that wasn't possible....
Anyway. Maggie pressed her subconscious against the pod's interior sides, pressing and pressing, slowly, steadily... until she broke its seal. The pod fell into three pieces as it careened deep into the snow, leaving a crater that would disappear in an hour or less.
Maggie fell the last two hundred feet, using her telekinesis to slow her descent significantly. She landed hard, rolling to avoid breaking any bones.
Wait. She wouldn't have to worry about that... Maggie sighed. Being around Blake and his human logic had taken its toll on her.
Standing up in the snow, Maggie looked around, completely blinded by the blizzard. She seemed unaffected by the cold, however....
((Send me a PM explaining all the traits and characteristics of Shivasai crystals so I can work Maggie into the plot, please? :3))

Blake chuckled. Then he winced, the pain in his chest becoming rather intense, momentarily.
"Ah... ha... well," Blake replied hoarsely, "that's... certainly interesting. Definitely beats my own, where I just drop out of the Imperial Army. But I, too, stole a ship. It just happened to crash land on Eseptos... that decrepit rock. Anyway. You... styled hair for a living? Other than, the uh, robbing captains... remind me to keep an eye on you."
Blake chuckled again, though much more softly this time. After settling, he cleared his throat and sipped from a glass of water. "That's so... quaint," Blake continued, obviously lost in some nostalgic memory of his own. "Were you happy, then?"
