((Well, jeez, no one asked. And I figured that if you found out, then you found out. It's not like I was hiding it. Plus, it was only a copy at the very beginning. Now, it's like, only barely similar.))

Alan took Anna's hand. He recognized her as one of the more mature members of the group as he smiled back at her.

"All right, let me explain," Crash said, loudly enough to get everyone's attention. "Every Blazer has a special genetic code within them. We've discovered what that code is and have people working day in and day out to find people out there that have it. "This genetic code allows for a special connection with the Mystickers, granting the user the ability to harness that power within themselves. Make sense so far?"

"Wait, wait," Jem called out, making a "T" with his hands. "These things are genetically linked to us? What are they made out of!?"

"No, no, you misunderstand," Crash said quickly. "The Stickers themselves aren't what cause it. Rather, it's the Blazer's ability to reach into the Sticker and draw more out of it than usual. Does that make more sense?"

"Are they... biotechnology, then?" Jem asked, confused. "I can't imagine any other reason a person's genetic code would affect it."

"Sort of," Crash said. "Mystickers are pretty mysterious. There's research on them even now. "But forget about that. The point is, a Blazer is someone who has the ability to influence the Mystickers in a way unlike anyone else. The question now is, would you like to learn how?"

"It would mean becoming a Blazer, and more specifically, a Guardian. You would have to swear a sacred oath, and never reveal our existence to anyone. You would have to leave your old life behind completely and start over. No contact with the outside world for years. "You would learn how to harness the power of the Mystickers for any situation. You would learn survival skills and fighting skills. Does this sound like something you want to do?"

"Secret societies and isolation? I'd... have to think about that for a while. Obviously, I'd be leaving a lot behind and this doesn't seem like one of those choices you can go back on later," Jem replied, leaning on a wall.

"Take your time," Crash said. "You're free to leave if you need to." At that point, Jem's eye caught on Crash's huge case of Stickers, which contained a myriad of Stickers that he'd never even seen before.

Light filtered in through a window and a man groaned on a bed and turned away from it. "...Why is the window open?" He mumbled to himself as he stretch in place on the bed, pushing the blanket off himself in the process. Veral'De walked over to the blinds covering his window and closed them the light they provided now gone caused his room to dim considerably. He lazily reached over and traced a light 1 mysticker that was on the wall and the room lit up instantly. "Oh mysticers life would be soooooo dull without you!" He chuckled to himself and moved to the bathroom to perform his daily duties, showing, brushing hair and teeth, etc... Finally groomed and clothed, he was wearing a shirt that had a pair of headphones on it with the cord of the headphones twisted around to his back. He was wearing a pair of white jeans and black splashed convers, his favorite.
Looking at himself in the mirror he couldn't help, but smile at himself, "Oh I look pretty good today!" He said while smiling again and then he traced over the mysticker again and the light in his suite dimmed again, he was heading outside and to the nearest mysticker store. He had some he wanted to trade in and other he wanted to hopefully buy. He knew some store owners were picky about the mystickers they had and wanted to sell.
"Oh wish me luck...", he whispered as he spun the ring on his finger and walked outside of his hotel heading towards the mysticker store that was five blocks away.

((Is green font in that size really necessary, ewock? More importantly, is naming yourself after furry midgets necessary? <_<))
"Well, my... knowing about you, and having been brought here, hasn't already compromised you?" Jem pointed out against his better judgment.
