Lucario is going to be next confirmed.
That contest is kind of weird. I won't do it, so I don't get screamed at by a 12 year old kid for beating him with sheik.

bleu_flame Dark Super Sonic I posted that in the original Thread. 11:30?! Here (Union City, 5 minutes from San Jose) it starts at 10. It would be pretty funny if anyone of us met in this tournament (in the final round), huh ? I have already decided I'm going to go easy in the final battle of round one. I don't feel like going to Round two. I'm just entering to play Brawl 30 minutes earlier.
Nice...me too...in Kansas....at 10pm...at my Gamestop.

I'm probably not going to the Gamestop tournament, I'm not that great of a player and I can wait until the next day to pick up my copy of Brawl. But I'm probably going to my friend's house on the release day or the next week so we can have a Brawl party =D

The GameStop tournament rules are utter crap. The first round is one minute long (i.e. a timed match), minors need a parent to sign a form, and for the next round, chances are you will have to go to a different GameStop. GameStop doesn't pay for travel expenses, either. Also, the finals are in California if I remember right.

Yes, they are. *Though that's no problem for me. xD* Actually, they will pay for Air-fare for the final round. If you live with 100 miles, you can take Ground transportation. Also, you get a two night stay in a hotel, and $200 in spending money. The closest airport to my house is the San Jose Airport. Even if I don't win, I'll just go to the tournament to play more and see the others play and declared the winner.

Play Brawl early, and have a chance at winning prizes? Hell yes.
Besides, it's not like it's going to be hard to win a 1 minute timed match. You could just pick Ike and outlast your opponent. Or Laser Spam with Fox until they can be killed with a forward smash.
My problem is only the starting roster. I wanted to be Sonic exclusive in all the tourneys I attend, but that's not an option here. >.>;
I guess I'll go with Mario or Lucas.
