Leo shook his head. "We have to pay bills." He responded, his vioce attempting to sound mature.
Kevin smiled, "Perhaps, but we have enough to pay for both.' He responded. "Did you like the story?" He asked, he moved to kiss Randy's head, his hands soothing as he felt Randy drift off again.

Randals eyes closed and he leaned heavily on Kevin, actually tired, his eyes heavy. He didnt hear any of Kevins words after that, his mind wandering.

Leo nodded his head. "I liked it, but I don't like how he left his other momma." Leo responded sadly, like Randy he could relate to the duck.
Kevin gently rested Randy back on the couch. He bent to examine his chest, again, peeling back the bandages. The wounds weren't doing well, they'd reddened horriblly around the edges. "What was your favorite part?" He asked, taking the wet rag and gently pressing it to the edges.

Randal didnt really realize Kevin layed him back until he felt the pain of his injuries and whimpered softly, his breath hissing out as the cool rag pressed against the inflammed scratches. "Nn, hurts." he mumbled, the pain bringing him out of his thoughts.

Kevin made a soothing noise, his hands gentle as possible as he replaced the bandages. "I'm sorry love." He murmured, kissing his cheek.
Leo was talking about the story, his head down as he spoke mostly to Roo.

Randal shuddered and closed his eyes, turning into Kevins kis for comfort. Leo's talking helped to bring him out of the pain and he listened to the child talk to his bear.

Kevin kissed Randy back, keeping it chaste, so Leo wasn't upset by it.
Leo glanced up, he looked startled then looked back down at Roo, giggling to his bear.

Randal saggd back against the couch and looked over at Leo, smileing a little. "What are you giggleing about little one?" he asked hoarsly, he wanted some water, he looked around, the pitcher should be around somewhere.

Leo looked up. "It's a secret," He responded, giggling again.
Kevin noticed Randy's vioce was dry, he moved to get the pitcher of water, poring him a glass, then moving back to the couch and sitting down, offing Randy the cup.

Randal smiled a little at Leo. "I see." he said and took the cup from Kevin with a shakey hand. "THank you love." he said and gripped it in both hands to keep from spilling as he drank thirstily.

Kevin helped Randy to drink, steadying the cup in his hands. "Of course darling." He responded, looking at Leo, who was carrying on what seemed to be a very interesting converstion with his bear.

Randal finished the water and pushed the empty cup away, moveing to lean his head on Kevin when he was done. He couldnt understand exactly what Leo was saying to Roo but it seemed like he was haveing fun.

Kevin took the cup and placed it on the table, then moved to help Randy get in a more comfortable position.
Leo had stopped talking, instead he looked up at Randy, his eyes focused on Randal's throat, he watched the throat with an almost curious look, the sound of Randal's heart pumping filling his ears.

Randal groaned softly as Kevin helped him move and than relaxed, staying close to Kevin still. He didnt notice Leo stareing at his throat, to tired to really pay attention.

Kevin made a soothing noise, his hands gently as he held him. "Leo?" He asked, sensing something from the boy, though he was uncertain what. He looked at Leo, suddenly realizing that he hadn't been smelling the boys emotions for some time now. He took in a deep breath, but felt only Randy's pain and weakness.
Leo looked up at Kevin with innocent eyes, though they had started to glow around the rims. He wondered why the adult was staring at him so intently, it mad little sense to Leo. He ducked his head down, his hands clutching his bear tight, was Kevin made at him? "W-what?" He asked
