Thanks!! and you know what wound up happening....
well we got there and this guy comes on our bus to tell our director that they JUST NOW cancelled the compettition!!! can u beleive it after ALL THAT!!!!
then the last weekend we actually went to a competitition and did pretty well but we didn't get a rating because our director didn't think we were ready because we had only just learned it that week. this week we did the senior show in one day!! or at least the drills AGAIN because of the RAIN!!!!!!!! then at the game we couldn't even do the drills on the feild because again because of the RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! but overall we did good friday was our last game. WE WON!! but we can't go to playoffs. if we had one just one more game we could have won. ::sigh:: i am going to miss marching band.
STUPID RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow... i know how much rain sucks!! I also play sax and was in my first year of marching band. That does bit that you found out that the competition was cancelled right when you got there. My marching band went to state finals, but we received a 2 because of our bad marching and manervering. I know that i spelled that wrong!
PS: mormonchika; the rain sucks so bad, at least for us woodwinds, is that we cant play in it. It will make our instruments suck like no other!!

Once at a football game it was realllly cold and our instuments were really bad out of tune because of it. Yea, so we didn't get to play... made me sad. sad Buuuut... we have a concert comming up on the 8th and I have a ''solo'' thingy, so that makes up for it. ^^
