Veru eyed Someria warily. "Don't threaten me with magic." His growl was short, but menacing. Thia stopped laughing and patted Veru's arm. "Don't threaten her, wolf. I may just rethink our arrangement." Her voice was cold. She pushed Veru lightly. "Go. Eat. Now." Veru stalked off looking slightly ticked off.
Thia turned back to Someria. "Look. I'm trying to be nice right now. Don't start panicking and set fire to the building or something." Thia sighed and rubbed her head. "Veru's a little testy. It's not just his hunger, I almost killed him a minute ago. We don't exactly get along, but I know how he feels about magic. I'm not so crazy about it either." She stopped rubbing her head. "Veru was screwed up by some old biddy who thought it would be fun to toy with a werewolf's kid. She made him look like that wolfish monstrosity we see today. Now if someone threatens him with magic, he takes it personal." Thia crossed her arms. "Now that we're roommates, if he gets angry and attacks, I'll get blamed for his stupidity." She sighed again. "Please for all that You or I live for, Don't threaten him. I may have to put him down if he starts any trouble..." Thia sighed and looked at Someria. "Please? For my sanity for the next week?" She did an adorable begging puppy face expression.

Thia snickered a little. "If you can handle a dog's snore and a light growling in his speech, you'll be fine. Now me? I'm kinda noisy, but since you warned me... I guess I'll play nice for now. Just don't make me angry and we won't have any problems. As for healing magic? Talk to Rin. She worked with her gran for a while with healing and blessings. Just don't start her on her past. She had a rough day when I came around her life." Thia stared into space for a second, but shook her head. "I won't tell you unless Rinny starts making me testy." Thia laughed and started towards Veru. "Now wolfy should be calmer. Hungry, but not as mad."
Veru was leaned against the wall. He looked like he was staring at the wall intently. Thia walked over and smacked his ear. "Huh?" He turned towards Thia. "Done?" Thia smirked. "Yup, lets eat!" Veru sneered. "You mean, 'you two eat, I'll go drain a couple of humans down the street?'" Thia punched his arm. "Shut up!" but she was smiling. Veru started barking and wheezing. After a minute it resembled a dog's laugh. "Come on! I'm hungry enough to raid a village!" Thia snickered. "And you thought I had bad puns?"

Rin leaned against the wall. She sighed heavily. "Now what? I'll never be free from this... Never a normal life, I knew that since I was born... But not this freak accident..." She slid away from the wall and started walking, not noticing her audience.

Thia stared at Rin. Anyone who'd never met her before would think she was bored. Anyone who knew her well-enough would know she was completely appalled.
Veru scratched his ear. "Wow. Rough stuff."

Rin kept walking.
Thia grabbed Someria and covered her mouth. "Shut up!" she hissed. She looked over at Rin and released Someria when Rin turned a corner. "You almost just got us mauled." Thia sighed and rubbed her head. "Story time?" Veru looked confused. "Huh?" Thia sighed again. "Story time." She walked toward the room. "Bother Rin and I'll be your personal poltergiest. I mean it." Veru stared at Thia in disbelief. "What just happened?"

Thia sighed. "Rin has a few problems. When she's alone, she spaces out and starts thinking about them. I almost got killed for overhearing her once. I called out like you did. She heard me though. I will never forget how close to a demon that child became." She shook her head and turned toward Someria. "She didn't realize what happened last time. I'm not going to tell her either. If you tell her, I will hunt both of you down. And trust me, you do not want me for an enemy." Thia sighed and turned back to the path to her room. "Go. Eat. I'm not hungry." She walked off.
Veru rubbed his head. "Glad I'm not her enemy, just her pet peeve..."

Thia kept walking, but answered without turning around. "Ask Rin when she's not spacing out."
Veru shook his head. "Wonderful. My roommate's the very thing I hate most, Her best friend could kill me if I said hello, and I'm hungry. My day just got shot down a well." He seemed a little angry, but on the inside he was confused. The vamp won't talk, the subject's possibly psycho, and I have another girl who treatened to set me on fire standing right next to me asking questions. What's going on here? Is my father going to come back as a zombie and say, 'Hey son, nice looking Girlfriends. The vamp's kinda rude, the other girl's a tough one, and the fox's disfunctional, but you have variety!' Lord knows if that old flirt ever came back, the world would puke and explode...

Thia shook her head and turned a corner.
Veru shook his head. "She said she wasn't hungry. I say let her be. She's obviously just mad that I'm being so calm." He scratched his ear. "If anything, I think she wants to be alone. Most bloo- er, vampires are like that..." Veru started walking away from Thia. "Come on, I'm still hungry..."
