Jeni knew other would have followed her, but she had to answer Kevyns question, "I'm with the others, they're in here." she answered, "Come on, the elves here do more for the reputation of their kind than the ones out here." she led them to the rest of the group. She heard Luke mention bed, but found she was not tired, even after the days events. "We have more people." she said, "I think thats all of us humans accounted for, plus we have also aquired a wolf of some kind."

Terra suddenly got excited when Jeni mentioned that the rest were here. She let out a soft sigh, releasing the tension she'd held before knowing they'd found their group once more. She felt at ease, or at least as much as she could here in this strange place. Falling in step behind Jeni and Kevyn, she spotted the very peculiar assembly of people, and... elves, that stood waiting for them. Still conversing. Most turned to see who else had arrived as jeni announced them. But apparently there was no need. It seemed that the elves had already acknowledged their presence and moved on. But one seemed to catch her eye. She'd been staring at something before glancing over Terra and the others and back again. Once close enough, Terra saw that it was a panther. Amazed, Terra caught herself staring in disbeleif, until she noticed it didn't look too happy. Then Noren was at her side snarling silently at the giant black cat. She looked down at him as her eyebrows pushed towards each other, showing her worry and lack of understanding. Scuffed her foot at him to catch the white wolf's attention, and his icy blue eyes connected with her hazel irises. The shared a long moment of silent staring before he got her wordless message and sat with his ears slightly back, his snarl fading. A small grin curved the side of her mouth and she felt a bit proud of herself. She'd just stopped a wolf from potentially advancing.
As did Jeni, Terra caught the last bit of Luke's statement. She recognized his voice but not necessarily his appearance, yet all the same she accepted it as him. "I hear ya..." she muttered in reply. Her eyes stung a little from the urge to fall over right then and there. Though she knew she was no where near as drained as she should be. When Jeni mentioned the wolf, her head perked up and she realized she was speaking of her new companion. "Oh, yeah, this is Noren. He kind of... found me. And Kevyn too, come to think of it. He also led us straight here. I guess animals around here really seem to know what's up..." she said a bit quietly. The elves intimidated her. Usually she did just fine when it came to speaking to a large group, but the multi-colored stares really through her off.

Jeni also heard Lukes comment. "Yeah, we've had quite a day, maybe we should get some rest, and start this conversation again in the morning." In reality Jeni was not tired, she was wide awake, wanting to fight properly, she practiced once a day minimum, and the fight earlier had yet to satisfy her needs.

Ichnel rubbed his temples, feeling the blossoming of a grand headache behind his eyes. All these people... Now mind you Ichnel loved company, for he rarely recieved any, but this was getting to be a bit much.
"Lae, why don't you take our guests to your house? It is getting rather late and most of them do look weary," Ichnel said.
His eyes swept over the faces of each of the guests. Hmm...
"Although, I do ask this. Jeni, was it?" Ichnel asked, adressing the girl," would you please stay for a little longer? I have something I wish to discuss with you."
He bowed slightly as he asked, as it was the semi-formal thing to do. He handed the reamaining baskets of food to the group and wished them a good night.
Turning to the other dark elf, he said," Ka dos daewl ulu zexen'uma l' isto xuileb tluin elggen a l' byr darthien, telanth xuil l' karliik zhuanth darthirii. Uk zhal'la inbal cuass'ili lu' ves stath erg'les ukt zhaunil."* Ichnel paused. "Usstan orn plynn dos ulu ukta p'luin Usstan telanth xuil Jeni," he added."**
((* "If you wish to stay the night without being killed by the other elves, speak with the head old elf (village elder). He should have room and very few question his wisdom." ** "I will take you to him after I speak with Jeni" ))

Jeni did not know what Ichinel was saying to the other elf, but oddly for her she felt she could trust him. "Sure," she replied. She had an idea what it would be about, it seemed that most people she met commented on her agressive nature. She also knew that some of the others would question her afterwards, but that was natural. She watched and listened as the others started to leave, she glanced at Gabe and the wolf, Those two are going to be trouble, admititly both are useful, but I think Luke is already relies too much on Gabe, and will Terra and Kevyn be the same with the wolf? these thoughts worried her somewhat, she had always been taught to rely on oneself alone, and accept help when it was needed, not to always rely on others.

Marael, distracted by Gabe and the wolf, Noren, wasn't really paying attention to the rest of the group. She jumped as Ichnel started speaking the Shadow tongue again, and focused back on the matters at hand. The group started to disperse, and she gave a sigh. With a smile at Ichnel and Jenny and a nod to the other dark elf, she followed the rest of the group. Gabe trailed behind her, glaring at the wolf and sheparding the humans into a group so none were misplaced.

There are no such things as coincidence.((Wow, a lot happened without me.))
Valerye sighed. She had a horrendous headache and stomachache. She wondered what Ichnel had to talk to Jeni about. She snuck back into the greenhouse. She saw how all the plants had reacted to Ichnel, and she felt a pang of jealousy. She fingered a starberry, feeling that it would be ripe in a day or two. Valerye felt a tad guilty at touching some of Ichnel's plants without his permission, but she felt much better in here than she did on a full stomach. She backed up from the starberries and made the mistake of not looking behind her. Valerye tripped on a slight rise of the ground, and fell near the Dragon Lillies, getting bitten by one on her upper right arm. There is only hitsuzen

Seeing the slight strain all this was having on Ichnel, Emmia was starting to feel bad about all this. Like it was her fault for finding the group and her actions that was leading to all this high tension. She felt the only thing she could really do to help now was keep her mouth shut and try not to snap out any remarks that might get her in trouble. She shot the armored dark elf a look of curiousity. She really wanted to stay and find out more about this mysterious elf but at Ichnel's suggestion of leaving, Emmia nodded in agreement not able to help thinking that this decision was best. She could see the toll all this took on the group and felt bad for them. That they'd had to withstand all of the confusion and fear and uncertainty all up to this point, and she had to admit that it even effected her, in a way. She wasn't tired, drained was more the word. And as she turned to face the pack of humans her eyes were drifting to a greyish silver for worry and a little exhaustion. She'd watched the two new arrivals with interest when Jeni had reappeared with the two shuffling after her. She recognized the slight fear and confusion in their expressions and beckoned them to follow as the group started to move. Emmia looked back at Lae, waiting for her to take the lead. Once it seemed all the humans were gather she noticed the panther keeping everyone together as if herding frightened sheep back towards the pen. The comparison assumed her a little as she moved to do the same, but caught herself looking towards the new comers. Her now orange-tented eyes lingered on the wolf, who's name she'd just barely caught. Noren, was it? How peculiar that a creature of her own world would take such an immediate liking to these humans, she thought. She looked up Terra and Kevyn, remembering the names Jeni had called out as she'd walked around the house to meet them. She noticed the girl looked particularly uncomfortable and Hung back until she was within range of them. "Don't worry, you're in good hands here. Nothing will harm you while any of us are around." she said reassuringly as she gestured to herself as well as Lae, Marael, and Ichnel. She tried to dismiss the other dark elf and ushered the two along with the group. "We're heading to my friend's house. There all of you will be able to rest." she added, trying to explain what was going on to them both. By now she was holding her basket of povisions in her arms once more as she gave another reassuring smile to Terra and Kevyn both catching back up with Lae. She waited for her friend to start getting anxious about taking all of these people back to her home and predicted the look on her face and the smart remark she was sure to have ready when Emmia was back at her side.

Jeni was getting fidgety, she knew people were tired, but they seemed to be taking forever to leave, she suddenly noticed Valerye was not there. She heard a noise from the greenhouse, Now what? Did she go there?" Jeni wondered, slipping back in. Sure enough she found Valerye, with a bleeding arm, right next to those dragon-plant-things. "Come on," she said helping her to get up, one of the plants tried to bite her, only to get firmly knocked away. "It's already stopped bleeding." she said checking the wound, "The others are about to go, don't want to miss them." She went back into the room hoping no one noticed her short absense.

Kevyn was glancing around constantly while they walked. This was all so strange and yet it only seemed to make him more interested... and not the least bit afraid. The elves had him a little confused and concerned, esspecially after Jeni's comment about the elves... what would they have done to him and Terra if they hadn't found the group? He'd ask Jeni about that when she caught up with the group. For now he did nothing but continue to stare around and ocassionally pet Noren.

There are no such things as coincidence."Hey!" Valerye bit back a yelp of pain. The blood had stopped flowing out of the vein, but it throbbed and hurt like hell. "Of course not." She said, rolling her eyes. Valerye felt bad for the Dragon Lillie, but damn! The plant knew how to bite hard. "Now all I need is for Ichnel to tell me that Dragon Lillies are poisonous or something." There is only hitsuzen

"I think he'd have warned us straight away." Jeni whispered to Valerye as the group left. She then tirned back to Ichinel, he looked tired and stressed, but she understood why, the rest of her group looked the same. "So what was it you wanted to talk about?" she asked Ichinel once the group were a short distance away.

Ichnel heard the comment Valerye made. Ironic really.
"Actually, Valerye?, the Dragon Lilies are slightly toxic. Don't worry though, their toxin isn't lethal, but I'm afraid that the wound is going to feel like it's on fire for a few hours," Ichnel said with a mixture of sympathy and empathy (He had stumbled into a patch of wild Dragon Lilies as a child).
He walked calmly over to one of his numerous work benches, picked up a muddy brown bowl with purple-ish green paste in it, and handed it to Valerye.
"Rub this over the wound. It should alleviate the pain somewhat and stop the bleeding. When it starts to feel numb, wash it off and let it air dry," Ichnel directed. He showed Valerye to a small pond he kept in the garden (for the aquatic plants) and pointed out a comfy looking bench next to it.
Ichnel then turned to the stubborn young woman, Jeni. Judging from her posture, he fairly suspected that she expected him to tell her off for her fierce independence and opinions. Ichnel smirked. It was part of what he wanted to say, but not all of it.
"I was hoping we could spar, Jeni, and then afterwards, talk for a little while. That is if you accept, but you really do look like you could use a good bout," Ichnel said.
He'd noticed ever since she walked with him back to his house with the group that Jeni was battle trained. In what style, he knew not, but it was intriguing enough that Ichnel wanted to see her fighting form in action. It'd been a good 20 years since he really had to work at winning a duel. Maybe this human girl could provide him a good challenge?
((Dragon Lily~ A vivid emerald colored lily. They are prized as ‘watch dogs’ for houses, gardens, and pretty much anything. Because the plants are magical, they can understand most speech but they are unable to speak themselves. They can grow from about 2 to 3 feet in height. They have sharp edges along their petals that can clamp down to ‘bite’. They received their name from their emerald color and bright red center and also from the effect their bite causes. If bitten by a Dragon Lily, the wound feels as if it’s on fire for a few hours. They aren’t deadly poisonous, but walking into a wild patch of them would be a very painful experience. They eat both plants (weeds) and animals (mostly small rodents).
Purple-ish Green Paste~ A pain reliever/poultice Ichnel developed by mixing several plants together. It smells nasty (think burnt garbage) but it does its intended purpose: sealing wounds and lessening pain. Ichnel hasn't come up with a name for it yet.
To Destiny: DONE! PM I CHOOSE YOU! *flings list pokémon style* ))

There are no such things as coincidence."Great. Just what I need." Valerye muttered. Ichnel was right. The bite burned like hell. She took the purple/green mixture and made the mistake of smelling it. Gagging, she went to the pond and slathered it all over the bite. Letting the mixture do it's work, Valerye wondered what Ichnel had to tell Jeni, and what Jeni had to tell herself and Luke. 'Maybe I'll find out sometime soon...' There is only hitsuzen

Jeni was surprised to be offered a chance to spar, "Sure," she replied,"But I'll take these off so I don't deal too much damage to anyone or anything." she pulled the gloves off and unbuckled the kick-edge. "I'm not sure if fighting is the same here, but in my world we have two types, the regular type where you try and kill each other, but that really only happens in wars and other rare occasions, and competative fighting, where you aren't allowed to kill people and there's lots of rules to stop people getting serious injuries, that's the kind of fighting I do." she paused, it was hard to explain why she had started to fight, so she did not go there, not yet. "So where are we going to spar?" she asked, "There's too much stuff in here?" she laughed, she could already feel the adrenaline affecting her and they'd not even started!
