Arya felt the movement, but didn't understand what was going on. Blood was still dripping down the side of her face and her conscussion wasn't clearing, not to mention the bindings on her wrist were too tight and cutting into her skin. "My head hurts." She muttered.

Ranu walked beside the female in the air, walking to the ship, occasionally ducking. "I'm sure it does, sweetie," he soothed. "But We'll get it fixed. I promise." He glanced up at his men who were edging back. "Stand and fight, you dogs," he roared, "Or I'll kill you myself."

Her hands were going numb and Arya winced at the shout. "Where are you taking me?" She asked quietly.

"Home," Richard replied, pausing and firing a shot at the crows nest as the Thunder fired her cannons.

"Where's that?" She muttered thickly. Her brain didn't seem to be working properly. Everything going on seemed a long way away and strangely muffled.

Arya nodded, relaxing. Some part of her brain wondered if the ship was still being beaten to a pulp on both sides and what was happening. For all she knew, the ship might be sinking.

There was an explosion that caused Richard to jump, making the pair drop a short distance. Catching them, Richard was lucky enough to stop them getting unduly wet. Raising the pair back up, he watched the Royal Navy vessel to the port of the Diamond explode as a lucky strike hit the gunpowder stores. Hastening back to the ship, the male lay Ayra in a newly made protected position. He stood where he could see her, snapping orders to hasten the defenders to rally.

The noise receded and Arya slipped back into unconsciousness, her breathing slightly shallower than was healthy and her skin even paler than usual.

Unaware of this, Richard glanced around. There were no weapons he could use to help. "Hold firm," he called pointlessly, then ducked a shot. as a marksman noticed he was an officer. He watched the bullet hit fallen wood, then got an idea. The wood lifted then was flung back. Richard idly wished Ayra had been okay so as to set it alight, but the piece still struck the ships side, killing the British Marines.

Arya was cold and she was in a dark place. She didn't understand where she was, but it frightened her. Yet she felt lethargic, unable to react.

"Pull us away," Richard called to the helmsman, feeling the ships give almighty lurches as the helmsman tried to comply. He fell to his knees as they drew apart with a mighty crash.

Arya's elbow hit something hard, sending a sharp pain reverberating through her body as the ship broke free. She gasped at the impact, her eyes tearing, despite being firmly shut.

Rolling towards the edge, Richard reached out for the splintered decking, gripping it. He swore as it tugged his wrist, the ship rocking back upright.

Something impacted with Arya's knee the other side, hitting her hard. She let out a soft hiss of pain and tried to make herself smaller, so that there was less of her to hit and to protect her head and chest.
