Eiry had just turned around from handing the two dollar bills he was given to Isi, who mechanically put them into the box. What Namini had shown him was a little doodle of him on the balloon's plastic-ky surface, like the ones Aphi drew of him. A smile lit up his face and he bubbled, "Okay, Namini. Next time I see you, I'll call you Mini."

"Gage?"

Eiry's smile was wiped away by the called out name and he looked about excitedly for the other green frei he was hoping to find. His attention was completely stolen from Namini (he never had a very long attention span and he hadn't learned all the intricacies of manners yet). "Gage?" he squeaked excitedly, "Gage, where?" To his disappointment, he didn't find the green frei anywhere. Eiry's shoulders slumped visibly. What he did find, though, was a slightly familiar woman staring at him through the crowd. He tilted his head at her and gave a meek wave.

EDIT:

Isi looked up at the next new comer and he gave a polite smile. All these people were beginning to wear him out, but they didn't need to know that, did they? It's not good for business. Besides, this is the Lab's festival, not Isi's-getting-tired-of-answering-the-same-damn-question-every-five-minutes.
He could've sworn that they put more information on the flyer adds.

"Hello, sir! How can I help you? Not entirely sure that you belong here? Well...This is a festival, so I guess everyone's welcome here," Isi said, furrowing a confused brow at the man.

Unlike Rivener, Bard did laugh out loud. Not that he wanted to make it look like he was enjoying the torment of the poor kid, but Bard hadn't forgotten the little spat he'd started just moments ago. Bard was all well and good when it came to forgiving in words, but that certainly didn't mean everything was ok on the outside. As the little guy tried to escape, Bard slipped his arm about his shoulders and pulled him back, pinning him against his side with the widdest, most personable smile he could muster.

"Leaving so soon? You'll break my heart kid. I just bought you a drink, the least you could do is offer me a name. And this fellow here's been so nice to you and all, giving you a clean drink. Where are you're manners?" Bard gave Sam an affectionate squeeze and a nod towards Rivener's words.

An iced mocha didn't sound very pleasant for the horned man, but he was willing to drink just about anything the other was offering. "I can think of more enjoyable things than an iced mocha, but I think the company will make it all the more worthwhile. Could you spare a moment to get me one of those?" Bard fluttered his lashes like a helpless little girl before looking back to Sam, "Oh, and another iced tea for the poor guy since I promised him one and all."

Sam grabbed the cup, but Rivener’s notorious plan worked as well and their fingers brushed each other momentarily. It was like a shock through Sam’s system but he didn’t want let Rivener the satisfaction of his reaction. Unfortunately wanting something and actually doing it are two entirely different things. Sam gave a squeak and pulled away suddenly, spilling most of the tea.

Just as he was about to make his escape for good the purple haired man pulled him back in. “Nuu, let me go” he almost literally flopped around like a fish. He came to the conclusion that he would be dragged into some dark alley where the two men would take turns raping him until he finally died a humiliating death of embarrassment. “Get you drink and leave me alooone,” he squirmed harder.

Amaris stared stupidly as, apparently, a new Raevan (who she quickly and cleverly dubbed Not-Gage) waved to her through the crowd. She half-raised her hand out of instinct, but paused and let it fall before shoving her way to him.

"You're not Gage," Amaris said to him disappointedly as she looked him over. The clothes were what deceived her into thinking so, she decided, although his hair was somewhat reminiscent of the other Frei as well. Having procured her eyeful, her brain kicked back in and she stiffened. "I mean, uh, I'm sorry, how rude of me," she said quickly and laughed, grabbing onto Mitsu's flailing arms as she wobbled dangerously on her shoulders. "Uh, uh, I'm Amaris, and this is Mitsu and her pet thing Rat!" Mitsu stared down at Eiry in a slightly annoyed gaze that seemed to say 'look what you did, you got her all riled up' while Rat's gaze seemed to say something more along the lines of 'I think I'd like to fling some poo soon.'

"And... oh..." She caught herself before asking his name. She came here for a reason after all. "Uh, uh! Mitsu! Balloon?"

Mitsu, still hanging onto Amaris' hands for dear life, looked down at her peevishly and answered with a clear, definitive "No."

"Okay! What's your name?" The woman continued, not missing a beat. The little girl shifted her wings uncomfortably again and looked around at the people below her. Crowds were never her thing.

Namini burst into an excited smile as Eiry said her name in an adorable manner. But she soon realized that his attention was pulled elsewhere and so, she waved goodbye to Isi and headed off. Looking at the balloons hovering within the boundary of her parasole, she glanced around the booths once again. Suddenly she saw it. It being the world's most incredibly sickeningly cute petting zoo! Squealing inwardly, she immediately rushed off and approached the pens where fox-like yips and sweet bleating were emitted from. Upon approaching it though, Namini's eyes caught sight of an awkwardly scribbled sign that read: "ADOPT ME."

Her jaw dropped in excitement. They were up for adoption?! Leaning over some of the pens, she smiled brightly. "I wonder what kind of animals they are-- Hm?" she was cut off as she noticed she was looking directly in the face of a small fox...with butterfly wings. Instead of backing up like most people would in this kind of situation, Namini suddenly outburst her feelings into a fangirl-esc scream, which excited the small chimera to the point that it had started to half-hop and half-float in the pen.

That's when Namini stopped her squeals and noticed people beside her, another teenage boy and a girl who seemed to run the area. Blushing fiercely she waved timidly to them.

The poor woman was giggling, beside herself with joy at the boy's enthusiasm and the Gwee's glee. Alex carefully righted the boy and let him down, kneeling again to scratch Munchies under the chin. "You're quite the singer Miss Munchies!" She assumed that's the singing Aphismet was talking about; Zoe made a lot of noises too, but his were mostly attempts at talking. Without moving her hand from the demanding little Gwee, the woman extended her arm to give Ty a half-hug, insisting to keep him near. She knew how squirmish the boy could get, and she didn't want to lose him again.

Attempting to tickle Tyson as she folded him into her grasp, she smiled up at Aphismet, thinking that she must look awfully silly with a Gwee at one hand, a boy at the other and trying not to lose her top all the same time. "Aphi has been busy," she said to Tyson, using the young man's nick-name that he was undoubtably used to, "for he also promised me a Spring painting date." Of course, it wasn't actually a date, but she could help but tease the poor man. It was like an innate joy of making the man blush.

"If your sister is hungry, you should go get her something. You don't want Lil to be irritable today!" She finally stopped her attempts at tickling, standing after giving Munchies a good final scritch. "However, I think I should return to my booth. Not that it's busy, but leaving Zoe in charge...it might be torn up out of spite." Alex grinned, knowing full well Lorenzo wouldn't do that, but he might leave a few unpleasant surprises to show his human just how much he didn't like being left alone.

Rivener smiled sensually at Bard, and nodded. "Sure," he said, bending down to retrieve the drink in question. Overhearing the one above mentioning getting a new drink for the fish-guy, Rivener snickered quietly and poured a new Iced Tea as well. When he straightened, the two drinks were placed on the countertop gracefully and he leaned towards the two, smiling sensually as always. "Here you are. One iced mocha and one iced tea. Three dollars altogether."

He was trying to think up a better way to fluster the fish guy, but he couldn't think of one, short of leaping over the booth seperating them and planting a full-on kiss on the man. He didn't really feel like going there, however; he only wanted to kiss one person... well, two. But anyway, this weird blue-cheeked guy was not one of them.

"So what are your names, how do you know of the Lab?" Rivener asked, dropping the overly sexual act, although he was still quite sultry by nature. He'd had enough of the game for now, and would settle for friendly conversation. With maybe a hint of sensuality, just to keep the fishy boy on his toes, and allure that horn-headed purple guy a little more. Riv liked the attention.

Josh staggered around astonish when someone let out a girlish scream of an immense octave. The noise thumped and echoed in his ears relentlessly. For a second, he though the adorable little animals prancing about in the mesh cages had torn off someone’s face in a bloody rage. Alas, all he could distinguish was a woman overjoyed at the sight of a rather delightful butterfox. Josh made his way over and smiled warmly, “Hello there, you seem to like animals a lot.” He inquired with a syrupy sweet tone.

"Oh, really?" Black brows arching, Lucado's smile widened. "Well, I suppose that's a good thing, then -- " he flicked a bit of pocket-fluff onto the grass, and grinned, a strange, surprising expression on the serious-looking young man's face. "I hadn't really expected it, you know; I always take walks in the park... but aye, I'm sure I'm taking up all your time." Contrite, Lucado bit his lip thoughtfully. "I'd love to buy a balloon -- getting into the spirit and the like, you know?"

As the brunette approached her, Namini lowered her eyes in shyness and slipped her fingers carefully through the hexagonal holes in the fence to play with the butterfox. She smiled gently as it licked her fingers and then let out a small mew similar to a cat's. Nodding quietly in response to the other boy's statement, she attempted to hide her blush from him by turning her face slightly to her left side.

Stupid stupid stupid! Gosh, why do I get excited so easily? And why do I have to OUTBURST it?! she scolded herself as she also pulled her parasole a bit more over her features.

"No, I'm not Gage," Eiry said, watching the new lady with wide eyes. How could she mistake him for Gage? To him, he and Gage were very far apart from each other on the color spectrum. "I miss Gage. Oh...Hello, Amaris and other...things..." He didn't like the look of the other two perching upon Amaris's shoulders, no way. They didn't look nice at all. In fact, they looked irritated with him as if he had done something wrong! Had he done something wrong? Eiry wasn't sure. He inched away, as inconspicuously as possible when Amaris spoke up again, "What's you name?"

"I'm Eiry or Eirdirsceol," he returned, giving the child atop her head a distinct frown and a glance before returning his red eyes to hers.

For once, Isi found it hard to follow someone's line of conversation. He found himself mentally trying to pick apart what he had said and connect it to what he, himself, had said. Perhaps it was this heat. Isi mentally made a note to ask Eiry to get a drink from Rivener in the next half hour. Then the man said something Isi could understand, "Balloon?" Isi echoed, giving a nod as he himself reached over to snatch the floating sphere, (since Eiry seemed to be busy at the moment). "Yes, yes of course. Spirit. That'll be a dollar, sir." Isi forced a well-made smile. Good thing he had been practicing all day.

Bard simply placed his wallet upon the counter, unwilling to let go of Sam at the moment and unwilling to look like an idiot trying to get $3 out of his wallet one handed. Besides, Bard was rather hoping he'd be hanging around long enough to rack up more drinks on his bill. The iced mocha was plucked up and sniffed at before Bard shook his head and placed it back on the counter. Reaching up, Bard's hand literally disappeared into the air above his head and his face slackened to the expression one gets when they're attempting to find something they can't actually see.

"I remember leaving it by Fangs' bed," the man grumbled before his face lit up as his hand hit, unknown to the others, Fangs' bed. With another quick fumble, Bard pulled a dark looking bottle from the air and read over the words printed on it. "Found it," Bard cooed triumphantly, unscrewing the top and pouring a light brown, creamy looking liquid into the drink he'd just ordered from Rivener.

After he'd finished mixing up his drink and taking a quick sip to make sure it was alright, Bard placed the drink back into his little 'sky trunk' as he liked to call it and proceeded to sip quite innocently at the drink in hand. He wasn't really concerned that either of the two would 'tattle' on him. Afterall, they were serving beer so what would a dash of Bailey's Irish Creme matter? Holding it out, he offered the drink to anyone that wanted to try, though it was certainly more pointed in the direction of the Raevan before him.

"The name's Bard and I've never heard about this Lab everyone's been talking about but I'm more than happy to learn. I just sorta came out here to meet new people and give Fangs a bit of fresh air." A man with a mission this one was.

A surprisingly geniune peal of laughter rang out from the Date Auction Booth, coming from none other than Shuura herself. "Don't be sorry," she smirked, "If the whereabouts of him is unknown...that's probably a good thing."

She nodded to the boy sitting in the other chair. "There are three other auctionees somewhere around the festival by the way, if you would like to see them. You can probably recognize them from their costumes. If you decide you are interested, you can return here at any time." The ease of transition in which she switched between the casual tone with Gage to the polite tactful one with the would-be customer-boy was the result of her experiences at the Cafe, and had become a near-automated process for her now.

"By the way," she added, turning to the Green Raevan once more. "Since you happen to be here anyway, 'you mind doing me a favor?" From what she knew of the other was that he was entirely meek and docile, especially compared to Jules. She seriously doubted he would deny her the favor, but still, she was feeling halfway decent at the moment so she might as well ask first.

Josh smirked in intrigue and leaned over following suite with Namini and placing his fingers through the cage. They met with the down soft underbelly of the fox-butterfly trying to avoid its multiple legs. Josh flinched as he was almost snapped in the face wit the girl’s parasol. It was quite a distracting seeing as it was looming over him almost eerily. Luckily, it did cast quite a cooling shadow. Josh peeked under her umbrella to meet her face to face and also absorb more of the cool refreshing air under there, “Umm, what do you suppose this animal is called?” His face slipped into a soft pout as he pondered.

She'd stopped short of the petting zoo when the girl stationed there had quite energetically starting shouting at her about the animals, jabbing the papers in front of her excitedly. Ebony had taken a moment to contemplate whether or not she'd like to adopt when more people had also decided to see the animals suddenly. And of course, some wayward fangirl had to go and ruin it all by screaming giddly at some butterfly fox hybrid.

With too many people it was hard for Ebony not to cringe a bit. It wasn't that she didn't like people, she just wasn't a crowds type of person. One, two...three people max was enough for her to be around. Thus she kindly shook her head, "Not right now I'm afraid. Perhaps I'll come back when things aren't...so busy." And with a flourish wave, she dashed off to find some place cool to sit for a while as the heat had started to get to her finally.
