Allen: Because I want to know why you've turned my commander into a husk of a man after he's bestowed nothing but kindness upon kindness to you.

"Because kindness is a weakness. I dislike weakness. Put two and two together and you get Botch being weak. Thust I stay away or turn him hard."
Storm shrugged.
"I vetoed for turning him hard. Much the fool I am."

Allen: Humans are not like Drow. We don't have hundreds of thousands of years to think over the whole thing. We have 50, maybe 55, if we're lucky. People who have had things like that happen often die still in depression, if they don't end their lives sooner because of it.

"Most mortals do not either; Khazar and I are a speacial cases."
Storm shrugged.
"It is not my problem anymore what they do once they are no longer weak. You all die so quickly it doesn't matter usually anyway."

Storm shrugged.
"You know it is not very polite to make a lady' repeat herself. It is not my problem anymore what they do once they are no longer weak. You all die so quickly it doesn't matter usually anyway."

Allen: How about this? If Kibo dies, by his own hand, or by anybody's whom you are even slightly associated, I will literally make your brain come out of your ears. Now it is your problem.

Storm shook her head.
"'Fraid that woun't be happening, mister Allen. For two reasons, actually. 1) No shadows in my head. It's all lite up with my brillance. 2)I refuse to be held accountable for something that is no longer my problem. The b*****d's a necromancer; for all you know, he could kill himself simply ot get rid of the spirits."

Storm grinned, taking what was obviously an insult and turning it into a compliment. She tended to do things like that, to the annoyment of all.
"And neither does Belle Morte herself, nor Takhisiss nor Bhaliks nor Alkhar. Would you like me to name more? The list just goes on and on and on."
