"No need for what? Oh I know you leave all the time. There are stories without me, not a lot, but enough for you to leave for a day or two. This time you left for good. You know how long I waited around with those stupid dwarves. Grumpy kept HITTING on me...non...stop. Then there's the fact the witch left too. That pretty much left me alone in all the stories, waiting for both of you to come back. What's up with that? I knew you didn't like me. I knew we were both forced together, but I mean...you could have...TOLD me." Eve said bitterly, eyes lit up with frustration. Before she could continue to rant on the man the larger dragon came in telling something about things being ready, and some girl waiting.
Sally grinned at Lok deviously and poked him in the stomach. "Thanks, Sparky. I always knew you liked my boobs." She gave a tinkling laugh and turned her attention to the others just as Gwaith abruptly pulled Amleth onto his shoulder. At first she moved to stop them but held back and gave a smile. "Don't hurt Amleth though, okay? He's my best friend. You take care of him! And make him manly!" She waved a fist in the air and whooped a second before sighing and looking around at the remaining group. She noticed that the newest one was leaving.
Eve had turned around, fists clenched. "I should definitely turn lesbian. If that's possible." She grumbled to herself. Before she could walk out of the area Sally snatched onto her arm. "Girl, you best let go of me. I thought I told you..." She trailed off at the look in Sally's eyes which was a tense determination. "What?"
"Whatever this lesbian business is about it can't be as fun as staying with us! I mean...I've been surrounded by this men for a long time. I want some female companionship...please?" Sally knew she wasn't exactly the thing Eve had in mind for a friend. She was a weak looking young lady with an annoying nagging personality, but she saw something about Eve that knew the woman wanted something. She wasn't sure what, but if the woman left, Sally knew Eve wouldn't get it.
Eve glared down at her for a long time, trying to make Sally back away and let go, but it didn't happen. It wouldn't happen unless THE princess, agreed to stick with this strange girl. She was the princess of all stories, the one who always got the riches at the end and the man. If she was about to stick around this girl then she had fallen from her glory...
"FINE! If you let GO of me I will."
"Wheeee! We can be girlfriends!" Sally squealed as she let go and Eve yanked her arm back to her chest. Eve rolled her eyes and looked over at Dash skeptically.
"Before you go running off to your new girlfriend, you've got blood on your face." The way she said it sounded quite emotionless and her face was completely rid of expression. Then she walked over to him and took a cloth from her back pocket and rubbed the blood from his face. "Red isn't a good color on you." She raised a brow and handed him the bloody cloth. "Keep it." Her head moved to the side to examine Sally and Lok again. "Anyways...so who are you guys? You look kinda...raggedy."

You know how they say that sometimes you see something in slow motion, and you still can't stop it from happening? Well, that's what Dash was seeing right now. He realized Titan was flailing, saw the hilt coming for his face, and felt it connect. Couldn't have done a bloody thing.
Pain exploding over the side of his face, Dash stumbled back, landing quite unceremoniously on his rear, gloved hands clutching at his cheek. His nose was bleeding, and it felt like his jaw was in pieces. Muttering something rather profane from behind his hands, Dash managed to glower at Lok and say something particularly rude and not very princely.
He'd heard Eve complaining about him leaving... And he really did feel bad about it... But really, it wasn't his fault...He looked up, quite surprised when Eve walked up to him, and carefully wiped the blood from his face. He took it, highly confused, and nodded.
Getting back to his feet and sheathing his sword, he looked at the upset Titan and very carefully (his jaw was still hurting) said, "Ow. What was that, Titan?" he stepped back before saying her name though, "Alandra? If you want to go see her, then GO." He pointed to the doorway, "Kyros said she was just down the way." He was glaring, his face already getting somewhat puffy. Titan had nailed him good.
Kyros looked down at Gwaith and Amleth, flashing a very toothy grin. "Hello there, piggish fellow," He gave a nod, mismatched eyes (one red the color of blood, the other a lovely golden color) dancing over Amleth's form. "And don't let Gwaith's constant yammering fool you. Hugeish dragons are better than he'll be any day. YOU, however, have more spirit than I've seen in a long, long time. It's hiding in there, but there nonetheless. You'll do well here."
They walked for just a few minutes more, until a rather agitated looking figure came into view, standing in front of a large covered cart. Her hair was long and cinnamon colored, and upon closer examination, her emerald green eyes would bore into you rather intensely. That didn't stop her, however, from being quite lovely, that is, when she decided to smile. "Hurry up, you great stupid dragons," SHe called out, tapping a food irritably.
((And there's Alandra! In my defense... She was originally created as a tiiiny character, and ended up being extraordinarily fun. So, not bothering to come up with a good name, I just named her Alandra. Shutupallofyou. *points*))

((Hahaha, okay... READY GO!
And I love Amleth, by the way... hahahaha, ooomggg... When I read your post I actually like... laughed out loud. And then people looked at me like I was weird... which I am... but that's besides the point.
It were funny.))
Lok made a face that was something between looking humiliated and a snarl. It ended up looking like a grimace... or just made him look a little on the constipated side.
"Don't call me Sparky." Was his rather lame retort. He grabbed her poking finger and shoved it away from himself half heartedly. He didn't even want to touch the boob subject with a ten foot pole so he wisely decided not to mention it again.
Lok then turned his attention on the retreating princess. He tilted his head a little. "Lesbian?... I hear they have more fun." He remarked with a wolfish smirk, but then glanced at Sally and took a half step in front of her, but Sally moved passed him and grabbed the woman's sleeve. He watched them curiously, though looked rather tense. He'd rip the woman to pieces if she threatened Sally.
"And what's wrong with a man!?" Lok wondered aloud and glanced in an almost panic at Percy. Lok seemed to have been left in the lesbian conversation.
Lok narrowed his eyes when the woman agreed to stay. "FINE." He snapped along with her and continued to glare and stand rigidly until he saw her offer the stupid prince a cloth to wipe up his face.
He instantly relaxed at seeing this. He wasn't always the brightest about these situations, but in this case, he could see through it.
"Raggedy?" Lok echoed in a rather ruffled tone. He rolled his shoulders. "I'm Lok." He said and then nodded his head at Sally. "And the one with the small breasts is Sally." Well, staying away from the boob subject had not lasted too long. "You might know us better as Red and the Wolf." He added after a moment.
He then crossed his arms. "And who are YOU?... Maybe it doesn't matter. Anyone who associates with Percy isn't going to be worth much of my time." He stalked over to the prince and took his face roughly into his palm. "... He really got you." He remarked and then dropped his hand. "Help me choose a weapon."
Titan looked to the prince at his statement still rather flushed and twitchy. "But er..." He muttered maybe to himself, but then righted with an almost defiant puff of his chest and ran from the smithy.
Of course... he had no idea what he was supposed to do... but he was glad to know he was free to do it. That and he was on a high from nailing the prince in the face.
That had felt pretty DAMN good.... you know... after he realized in the midst of hyperventilating that he had done it at all.
He quickly caught up with the dragons and (he swallowed hard) Alandra. Gwaith had the pig man on his shoulders and was laughing.
"Isn't he marvelous?" He was saying. "He'll make a great hero, I think..." And then his attention was on the woman with cinnamon coloured hair. "Oh don't get your panties in a twist... although I know a man who does that to you with a look." He winked. "Dash, of course, that little panty twister... SPEAKING OF PANTIES. You won't believe what Titan did today. It was rather brillant-"
"Hey!" Titan interrupted before anything could go too far. He grabbed the box from Gwaith's shoulders and hefted it the remainder of the way to Alandra's cart. "This fellow here..." His face was red and he seemed to have a hard time making any sort of eye contact. He waved a hand at Amleth. "He wants to be a hero... would you... er... would you mind giving me a hand?"
((And hopefully I won't have too many more that long... I'm sorry, guys... I blame Gwaith... he talks SO MUCH... even though this time it wasn't him that did it... wa. THE END.))

((Haha, since I can actually respond to this, I'm gonna post to it now... >.>))
At Lok's seemingly random outburst (he had NOT been paying attention to the lesbian bit of the conversation - that was when he was busy being hit in the face with swords) he gave a shrug, "I... Have no idea what's wrong with a man." Oh. Wait. That probably sounded a little gay. Well, darn.
"Owwwwowowowowowow." Percy ever-so-eloquently said in response when Lok grabbed his face, quite thankful he didn't hold it long. "Yeah, he did. Damn, I've never seen him flail that much. The whole Alandra thing must be getting pretty bad. I feel kinda sorry for him... A weapon?"
Dash looked oddly at Lok, touching lightly at his jaw. He wasn't used to unexpected injuries. Sure, he could take a sword through the side, or a blast of magic to his chest, but being cracked in the jaw by a flailing man with a sword in his hand was just... unexpected. "What kind do you want?" He had a feeling the wolf wasn't too keen on carrying a sword around... Even if it WAS the best weapon. "You know, this would suit you well." Dash then lifted a rather bulky looking mace off the wall and tossed it to the wolf, "You're both ugly and generally unwanted." Oh gods, he hoped he wouldn't catch another hit to the face for that one.
"Just shut that scaley little face of yours, Gwaith, dear," Alandra said, her bright tone not hiding the irritation in her words. "Or I'll have Kyros sit on you." Kyros, at this statement, grinned.
She then looked to Titan, who had, surprisingly, addressed her directly. That was unusual. "Hmm? Its nice to see you out of that smithy, Titan." Her tone was far softer with the man than it was with his dragon friend. "As for YOU, Gwaith, my panties are not up for discussion. I've already told you that." She did though, blush a bit at the sound of Dash's name. Well, a prince was a prince was a prince. He'd do that to any girl.
"This guy wants to become a hero?" Alandra's green gaze looked Amleth over as she cocked a hip to the side, arms folded across her chest. For a brief moment, one might have glimpsed her left hand - covered in black and blood-red scales. "He'll do nicely. I think we can arrange something. As soon as these deliveries are done, I'm off for the evening. Why don't you close shop early, and we can suit this young man up with some weaponry and training?" She then addressed Amleth directly, "I'm Alandra," She offered a hand (the normal looking one) for the pigman to shake.
((Bahahahah. Dude. Daemyn and Domino *points* We oughta bring them in. AND JAXERAITH! AND SLADE YESYES! *shakes you*))

((Seeing as how neither Eve or Sally are with Amleth, if I post it won't affect you that much, Bob. ;D ))
Sally gave a nonchalant shrug. "But I think Sparky is a cute name. I mean...sure I could call you Lok, but what's the fun in that? If I call you sparky then I give you permission to call me...something too...even if it's like...ya know...ummm...dirty." She gave him a confused look, not sure what she meant by dirty. She was too naive sometimes to actually be considered a lady, in some ways her mind wasn't exactly well expanded in the world. She had been stuck in her own singular story for years. Things these people said made her confused.
Eve watched Lok as as he snapped with her and she gave him a credulous look. Then he answered her question after being offended by her choice of words. "Ah, so you're the wolf. I've always thought you'd look more threatening...like a big muscle man with saliva dripping from his jaws. But you're much cuter." She gave him a toothy grin and caught the way Sally looked at her, a bit jealous. "It's okay sweetie. I'm through with the whole love thing. I'm better without it." She said the last part as if in a bit of denial, her eyes flashing towards Dash before Lok asked a question.
"Me? Nobody. I'm just the princess...but I hate being known as just that. It makes me sound weak and pathetic. But I'm not, you know, if I had a say in it I would have saved myself all those times and never eaten apples from old ladies." She gave a roll of her eyes and once again saw the look Sally was giving her, this one of awe and curiosity. "From now on, I'm just a normal citizen...with lots of money and a wealthy father. That's all. Anyways, with the witch gone I have no trouble anymore...well besides men salivating on me and trying to get me to have sex with them. Bunch of pigs." With Gwaith and Titan gone she began to rummage through the weaponry, elegant fingers dancing along the metal.
Sally peeked over the counter curiosly as Dash grabbed something very dangerous looking. "WOAH! Careful with that thing Pretty Boy!" she exclaimed and leaned back a bit. "You could KILL someone with that!"
"That's the point, sugar." Eve grumbled from her kneeling position. She grabbed scimitar and twirled it in the air, catching it back in her hands easily and then swinging it close to Sally, tip touching her freckled nose. "Cool aren't they?"
Sally's eyes widened and she glanced to Lok as if for help. "I won't kill you, I'm not THAT cruel." Eve slipped the curved blade from the girl's face and ran a hand over it. "This one feels perfect."
Sally walked near the group, studying the weapons with both interest and concern. She had never seen these things before in her life. The only weapons she ever picked up where knives, but she used those to cut bread and fruit, not human flesh. The thought made her furrow her brows and shake her head. "They look so scary. Why do people use these things? Can't we all just...you know...get along? Makes me sad people actually have to use these against others..." She gave a soft sigh and looked over to Lok. "I don't like that thing. It makes me think of something evil. Why not something less...frightening?"
Eve laughed gently at Sally, almost motherly and shrugged. "If we had been picked our roles based on personality, you'd be the princess, not me." She looked over to Dash briefly, giving him a scowl. Her eyes darkened and she twirled the blade around in her hands skillfully. The blade moved close to the prince before she took careful and graceful steps around him, her curved figure shifting musically with the blade. Her movements stopped behind him and she let the metal of the sword lift some of his hair.
"You should get a hair cut."

((=D I have no idea who any of these new characters are...))
Amleth flushed at Kyros' claim. Having people say nice things about him was strange...and really nice, now that he had pushed away the nagging voice that said that their opinions would change soon. He rubbed at his nose. “Um... th-thanks.” He gave the larger dragon a sheepish grin.
As they came to the cart, Amleth caught sight of the impatient, but very pretty, woman awaiting them. As he was introduced, the pigman tried to straighten from his perch on Gwaith’s back. “Um, hello! I’m Amleth, and it’s nice to meet you, um, Alandra? Er...” He wobbled on his ‘steed,’ before deciding to clamber off. “Th-thanks, but I don’t want to slow you down or anything, I’m kind of heavy, and I can walk myself and all...”
He glanced up at the newly arrived Titan, noting the red face and flustered speech. “Ah...” He smiled, then looked back to Alandra, and took the hand she offered, giving a small shake. “So, you’re a trainer, too? Thanks a lot, I really appreciate any help I can get.” He paused a moment, considering. “I’m sure that with both you and Titan helping, I’ll be able to get good fast! Err. ...You are a trainer, right? Sorry, I just assumed, I don't know that, but...” He stopped. "Right then."
He looked over the boxes that the dragons lugged around. He didn't want to rush whatever they were doing for Alandra, because of course it was important, but he really did want to get a start on work. He shifted a bit, hoping to mask his impatience.

((WOO POSTINGS! Sorry I couldn't do it sooner... ahahah, college wasted no time swamping me with work... D:... so... I'll try to be better *laughs* But we'll seeeee...
AND THEY ARE ONLY THE BEST CHARACTERS EEEVEEEER. MWAAAHAHAH. Like. Seriously. *laughs*))
"Yes, a weapon." Lok echoed as he looked around for himself. "And who IS Alandra?" He wanted to know, but seemingly didn't seem to want to know that terribly. He was moving along the wall, frowning at a broad sword.
"I don't know." Lok responded almost testily. "I wouldn't be asking you if I knew... I was a WOLF for god sakes, Percy... the only weapons I really know about are the ones that have been in me." He paused in his speech to catch the mace. He caught it easily and with his left hand... He did not look pleased... and then there was the smart remark.
His face darkened quickly, his head bent and his shoulders hunched. His eyes glinted beneath the shadow of his hair. "Those are brave words for someone with a glass jaw. Wanna run that by me again?" He threatened, his fists tightening around the handle of the ugly weapon. "I'll turn your face into a fleshy puddle." He snarled.
Jerking his head a little he placed the mace on the counter with a disapproving snort. "Find me a real weapon." He said and crossed his arms in a commanding fashion. "Something light and quick. Is that anymore helpful, princy?" He sneered.
However, Lok's displays of short tempers and death threats to the hero never lasted that long with Sally around. He caught himself short at her "dirty name" remark. He stumbled a little and looked around at her with wide eyes. His face was glowing a little.
He might have thought of a name... or several. Or none. The red seemed to say several and the way he was wrinkling his eyebrows and quirking his mouth he was trying VERY HARD not to think anything at all.
The dark man ran his hands rather savagely through his hair several times and looked elsewhere. The way he stood suggested he was suddenly very uncomfortable and pretending he wasn't there. He wasn't doing a very job for he was very there and also very red.
When the princess began speaking again he was mostly half listening. Only when she swung the weapon near Sally's face did he perk up and scowl at her.
"Don't fool with her like that." He snarled in a dark and dangerous voice, the sort of tone that brought back images of the wolf he might have been once. His eyes might have flashed a brief and dangerous amber.
Lok then moved along with Sally to examine the weapons. He shrugged at her remarks. "I only need it to keep yo-us... me... everyone... uh... safe." He frowned. "Yes.... because we know the hero can't save us all... he's just a b*****d with a sword... I want to be able to help." He decided and then nodded his head. "Yeah... what she said, Percy... something less scary, hm? How about a pillow?"
((AND TO GWAITH AND THEM! YAY!!!!... If my posts are going to keep being this long... hahahaah. I'm sorry D:.))
Titan might have accomplished the impossible when he flushed more deeply at Alandra's words. "Yes... w-well... sometimes I get out.... you know... of the... er... of the, um...er... sm-smithy." He managed with a foolish smile that he would later kick himself for. He pulled at his hair.
He drooped rather heavily at the mention of Dash's name. He might have folded into himself had he not had what dignity he still had somewhere within him to keep himself on his feet. He rubbed at his head and said nothing.
Gwaith gave a smokey snort. "Yes, well, fine, Alandra. We will leave your panties out of the discussion. Being that Titan might piddle himself just at the thought."
The young man was staring very hard at his feet. He seemed to be finding them VERY interesting at the moment... and the fact you couldn't see his face when he was looking down.
"OH YES!" Gwaith crowed. "Yes, yes! I WOULD like that... and Titan too! Am I right, lad?"
Titan managed to lift his chin from his chest and nod his head a good many times. "Yes." he finally managed to speak. "Uh... er... I'll... yes!" He half smiled and found himself averting his gaze again.
As Amleth clambered down from his perch on Gwaith both man and dragon fixed their eyes on him. Gwaith grinned a toothy smile.
"Not too heavy, Amleth." He assured. "I may be small, but I'm strong!" He half snarled and flexed his wings jokingly. He fluttered them a bit so he raised a few inches off the ground and landed again.
When Amleth mentioned having to wait Titan smiled. "I can get you started." He assured the short man. "We'll pick you a weapon out and get you practicing with it... A-alandra will come back to help with the rest." He glanced at her once to get her to affirm his words and then nodded himself. "Shall we then?"

((Ahhhh, my turn... D: ))
"Believe me, she would have saved herself," Dash murmured, rubbing at his jaw. "Eve, you're one of the most insane people I've ever met. It's a wonder you fit into the whole 'princess' category at all, really." He paused, then added hastily, "That was a compliment, you know." He didn't need another incident. Especially when she was too-closely examining the weaponry.
"That's the point, Sally," he said lightly, flashing her a somewhat dimmer than usual smile - half of his face was swollen. Somehow, though, he made it look cute all the same. It left though, when he realized he'd said the exact same thing as Eve, and at the exact same time. "They use 'em to protect themselves. Humans don't really have any natural weapons. An ogre or a troll on the other hand, does. Unfortunately, they tend to be used for more than just protection." The Prince made a face at Eve's swordplay around him, and blew some hair out of his eyes, "MY hair's fine, Eve," He said, moving his head slightly away from the blade, "And I'd certainly not use a scimitar to cut it if I wanted to..."
Getting back to Lok, Dash shook his head, "A big pain, mostly. She's one of the princesses in the stories Eve doesn't inhabit... If you think Eve's fiery, well... Alandra's unpredictable. And Titan's after her, while she barely sees him, the poor guy." He then gave a bit of a nervous smile at Lok's thread, lightly placing his hand on his injured jaw. Nooooo thank you. He didn't need another embarrassing hit. "Light and quick?" His eyes searched the available weaponry, gaze falling upon a twin pair of daggers, and then a thin, long metal pole. A bo staff. Pulling both the staff and the daggers (they were held in either side of a belt) from the wall, he held one in each hand. "What about either of these?" They'd at LEAST be more useful than a pillow. "And Sally, you oughta at least carry something with you too. There's a few short swords and daggers over there, if you wanna take a look at those. Or, Alandra's shop has some interesting longer ranged weaponry."
((haha okay! Dash done... I'm FINALLY finding out what sort of character he is *laughs* little late, ain't it? XP))
Alandra did her best to ignore Gwaith's tauntings, and instead turned towards Amleth, who looked far more nervous than he should have been. Poor guy. Kyros, on the other hand, was grinning widely, not to be intimidating, but he was just amused. "No problem, Ammy. Can I call you that?" He flexed his wings, settling them back at his sides. "Good. Anyway, no need to be nervous. We've all been in your shoes before. Green as green can be. It'll take some practice, but we'll work those little butterflies out of your stomach." He grinned again and then set about helping Titan move boxes.
Alandra, meanwhile, gave Amleth a quiet little smile that made her once-irritated face light up like the princess she actually was. "Nice to meet you too, Amleth." She returned his handshake with a much stronger one, and patted him firmly on the shoulder. "Heh, I don't normally train, but I think I can make an exception in your case. Dash asked for it, and it seems the stories have been a bit off lately. So hell, why not?" Putting her other hand on his shoulder, she turned the pigman 90 degrees, gently, but firmly leading him down a separate road.
She nodded to Titan, giving the particularly nervous man a somewhat devious smile. "C'mon then, Titan... I'll leave Gwaith and Kyros to the supplies. They KNOW what they're doing." That sentence was more directed towards the dragons than Titan. Kyros in reply gave an indignant snort and finished loading the cart. "Good. Alright, Titan... You'll help him pick out a weapon. I've got quite a few things in my own shop... Some of your work too, I might add... We'll find something there for him. But you're better at weapon choice than I am... So you two get to collaborate that." She grinned at both men, "This'll be fun. I haven't had a good training session in AGES." Still pushing Amleth ahead, she picked up her pace, "Let's get moving. We're wasting daylight."
((OOOH. THERE. POST. And it was SOMEWHAT LONG. WHUT? HAhaha and yeah, Teufel... They are awesome characters. XD; I dunno how long they'll be around in THIS Rp, but Aka and I just had so much fun with 'em, and they fit here PERFECTLY. The end! biggrin ))

((Haha I've been so tempted to put Nessa in there...but ya know...I don't want too many characters together at one time. Maybe I can work her in as doing something for Bedelia or something...persmaps...Which brings me to another point...how am I to work the witch back?
I was also thinking we can do a few days time skip or something soon for the period of time Amleth trains. XD Haha yeah...While the others split up and do their own things.
JUST a suggestion...))
Sally watched Lok curiously when he looked protectively at her from Eve's play swing. She gave him a smile and looked away, not wanting to embarass him by pointing it out. Her eyes trailed along Eve as she danced around Dash, teasing the man. It was funny how Sally could see the feelings of others and people she knew nothing of. Yet her own feelings made her as confused as a fish out of water. The feelings she felt in her stomach and tips of her toes her no doubt both frustrating her and making her feel delightful, more so than her Grandma's tea and cookies.
Eve gave Dash a shrug and twirled around on her feet some more. "Insane maybe, but at least I'm insane AND smart. And beautiful of course. I always wondered why I was the princess too...if anything I'd have been...you know...Joan of Ark or some heroic woman. Then again I guess there were times I got a chance to play...SOMETIMES." She gave the man a grin and let her hair down again, the pin straight strands collapsing over dark shoulders and amble breasts. "You may think your hair is fine, and it's perfect, but it isn't. You need a change my dear. Maybe like...A MOWHAWK! Oh dude...mowhawks are so awesome. I saw one just today! It was dyed red too. Oh you know how amazing your eyes would pop if your hair was RED!" The scimitar waved around playfully as she bumped into a wooden beam, almost cracking it.
"Woah...did that just...appear? Oh that'd be crazy." She gave it no thought and turned her eyes back to Sally as the girl glowered at the mention of her getting weapons.
"Oh...I dunno about that Dash..." She mumbled pathetically and rubbed at her freckled forehead. Her nose screwed up at the mention. "I'm sure I'd probably do something and slice my hands off...then I'd have no fingers to do this..." She jumped close to Lok and poked both of his sides with a devious grin. "And that'd be no fun! Teasing is my number one priority! Oh and of course making people happy. What if I chopped Lok's nose or leg off in the process of tumbling with the sword? I'd be so devastated...and it's no fun running away from a noseless peg-legged man!" Her hands raised in a dramatic fashion and she finally grinned.
"MAGIC! Isn't there such thing as magic?! I'll do that! And that way when Lok accidentally chops his own feet off I can HEAL them." She gave a definite grin, daring anyone to crush her hopes and dreams.
"I know a witch..." Eve said calmly, slipping her sword into a sheath. "He's an adviser for my father. I'm sure he'd be able to teach you some things...though I hear it takes forever. He tried teaching me once...and I almost burned the castle down."
((Lalala...haha I figured Sally would make a good magic user...ya know...strong spirit and what-not. And if we do a time skip she and eve and do girly things together...si.))

((Hehehe, I planned on it... but I figured Amleth should have some fun doing SOME training just for a bit... I mean seriously... it's HIS MOMENT! It'll be just for a bit until I'm like: OMG BORED. and jump things ahead... I already has a plaaan... kkukuku.
... But yeah... we will do that *laughs*
...WTF NESSA. HAW. XDD That means Seth MIGHT be near by O.o.))
Lok was hardly listening while Dash spoke. Even if he had changed in some ways, he would never change in others... especially in the way when Sally prodded him he snarled and batted her away in that half hearted fashion he always did.
"Lay off!" He said sourly.
He only looked at the prince when he had brought up some options of weapons. THAT had caught his attention. It seemed at the moment the dark man had rather selective hearing.
He strode over to the blonde and stood before him, his chin in his hand. His eyes traveled from one to the other before he took the twin daggers out of their belt and into his hands. He weighed them in his palms, eyes sharp and calculating. That glint of predator shone in his eyes.
"... I don't want to fight with a stick." He said of the bo staff. "Wolves don't FIGHT with sticks." He added for good measure and the look on his face dared anyone to mention he was not a wolf and wasn't going to be one anytime soon. In his world he at least still a little bit like a wolf... and also if he ran into his old pack... or... himself? The Wolf... he was NOT going to fight them with a STICK. That was just embarrassing on so many levels.
He then gripped his new weapons and tilted his head.
"Okay." He decided suddenly and began to stalk away with a definite purpose away from the shop. "You go learn magic, Sally. I'm going to go find someone to teach me how to use these." Though, he paused, returned, and grabbed the belt from Dash and strode away once more and into the bustling streets of Camelot.
((hahaha, I have an idea of who will teach him too... it'll be... funnnn... > biggrin ... AND TO GET AMLETH ROLLIN'))
Titan seemed rather winded by Alandra's devious smile. It might have been particularly odd for any man to find that sort of smile attractive, but perhaps Titan just found anything the fiery princess did to be attractive.
Gwaith rolled his eyes at the dirty blonde and with his tail shoved him in her direction. "Go on then! I'll do this HORRIBLE SLAVE LABOR for your sake..." He winked as Titan stumbled and glanced back at him. "I'm counting on you, Titan... don't let me down! You'll twist Alandra's panties yet!"
Titan scowled and made to kick at his dragon, but thought better of it and jogged to catch up with Alandra and the stout fellow. He fell into stride beside them... and then behind... and then beside... and continued this odd indecisive dance the whole way to the young woman's shop.
When they arrived into the humble shop Titan instantly felt comfortable. This was something he knew.
"Alright." He said to Amleth and led him along the wall. "I think I know just the thing for you." He grabbed one of Amleth's arms, raised it above his head, and then watched it fall. "A short sword, I think... nothing fancy, something light, and easy to handle... your hand is a good form for it." He ran his hands along a few that hung on the wall and plucked a rather simple one with a slightly decorative handle.
He placed it into the pig man's hand and then released his grip on his arm.
"How's that feel?" He asked of him, eyes continuing to look along the wall.
((... WHEEE!! WHE! ETC!!..))

"Don't touch my hair," Dash warned, inwardly cringing at the sound of a Mohawk. He didn't even know what that was, but it couldn't have been good. He did brighten up though, at the thought of Sally wanting to learn magic. He gave her a princely smile and nodded, "Magic! Of course. There's plenty of sorcerers and sorceresses here. I'm sure we can find you a good one..."
But then Eve chimed in about a witch. He frowned slightly, trying to remember who she was talking about, but sadly, managed a blank. That was strange... He'd never forgotten anyone in his stories before...
Shaking that off, he nodded, "THen you two should learn some magic, while we get Lok some training on the daggers..." He ran his good hand through his (thankfully intact) hair, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly through his nose. Things were happening rather fast, and it was odd not being completely in charge... not to mention, his head was throbbing.
Quite suddenly, he took on a very flat look and hit the heel of his hand to his forehead. "Magic." Duh. Flicking his hand in the air as if grabbing something only he could see, he quickly wove a light healing spell, placing it gently against his jaw. Slowly, the swelling went down, though not completely. Frowning, Dash rubbed at his now achy cheek, wondering why his spell hadn't worked... Was it something that happened from breaking that sorceress' spell on Sally? His hand still hurt...
He tugged his glove off, wincing at the skin on his palm. It was still black and painful. "Tch..." He wondered vaguely if Lok's mouth was still black. He'd have to check. Maybe there was someone here who could help with that problem. While Dash knew some magic, he didn't know a lot, and something of that caliber would have to be looked at by one who lived and breathed by it. But, first things first...
"Lok..." But the wolfman was already out the door and headed down the street. Giving Eve and Sally a quick look, he pointed towards the large castle, "Just beyond there, there lies another, smaller castle. That's where Alandra lives. I'm sure she'll welcome us to her home for a place to stay. Why not meet up there a little while after sunset, alright? Alright." He gave them a thumbs-up and knee-weakening smile before making like his name and Dashing out of the store, trotting to catch up with Lok.
"I think, my wolfish friend," The Prince stated with a wry grin, "I know JUST the person you need to talk to." That said, his grin grew, and before Lok could protest, he grabbed the man's wrist, and expertly navigated the streets, weaving in and out of people, until they came to a rather humble looking training field. A ways off was a knight, who really looked like they knew what they were doing. Fighting off two other swordsmen, they were down and out fairly easily. "Oi!" The Prince called, waving a hand, "Think you can take on another student?" He'd only heard about this knight... But figured that he could use his authority to get them to train Lok.
Hopefully.
((hah THERE. It sucks D: but at least it's sorta semi-longish. sorta. Mer. my eyes are burning. *stumbles off*))

Sally was about to protest to being left so suddenly but both prince and ex-wolf were walking away and she was being dragged in the opposite direction. "Be careful Sparky! You too Dash! Watch out for Lok for me! And and...and...ummm...owwwww." She stumbled a bit as Eve pulled at her. She didn't know that not only was Eve going to let her learn magic...but also give the girl a make-over as well.
"s**t...s**t...s**t..." Came a chant in the other direction Eve and Sally had gone. Leaning against a wall was a tan skinned woman. Her short silver hair was cut at an angle to just below her chin. She was wearing a dirty pair of jean shorts and a torn black tank-top. Her leather boots were scuffed with fraying laces and tarnished buckles. On her arms and legs were tattoos galore with plenty of scars mingled in. The most prominent of scars though was the one that ran from her hair line, over her cloudy blue eye, and to her chin.
Her grungy fingers fiddled together anxiously as she kicked at some dirt and knelt down groaning. "Where the ******** is he?" Some yelping caught her attention and she shot up like a bullet just as a young scrawny pale boy darted towards her, waving his hands around like a monkey with its tail cut off.
"NESSA! HEY HEY HEY!" He called out in a cracking voice and came to stand in front of her, panting and trying to catch his breath. Nessa wasn't exactly patient and she pushed him into the wall.
"YOU ******** SCARED THE s**t OUT OF ME! DAMN IT!" She growled loudly and let go of him. "So where is it? Show me the damn loot."
The boy pulled at a bag that was slung around his skinny shoulders and handed it to the short woman. A wide smile came on her face as she examined what was inside. She carefully pulled out two ornately decorated twin blades as well as plenty of gold coins and jewels. "s**t. Boy you're getting so much better!" She let out an excited laugh and put the treasure back inside. Her cloudy eyes lightened and she put it around her shoulders, patting it with care. "She actually did pay in advance. A woman of her word..." She paused and raised a silver brow. "I hate honest people." She cleared her throat loudly and spat into the dirt near a group of women who squealed and darted away from the strange thief.
"You disgusting...vile creature!" One of the women called out at her and Nessa gave them a bored look and raised her lip in a weak snarl, as if they weren't worth her time.
"Thank you. I've never been given such a grateful compliment before." She laughed at the look on their faces and shrugged. As she began to turn they called back out to her.
"It wasn't a compliment, you filthy whore." They all gaggled like geese before letting out shrill screams when their dressed were torn revealing their undergarments. Nessa seemed to be still, though it was no doubt she had somehow done it without moving.
"Perhaps. But at least I'm not as blunt in my services as you are. Sex is something sacred, or so I heard, perhaps you should listen." She gave a rude gesture with her hands and continued to walk away, letting the group try to find somewhere to hide their exposed bodies. Her partner trailed behind her curiously.
"You shouldn't have done that." He sighed and shook his head. "If he finds out..."
"Ah Hell, like I give a s**t?" She rolled her eyes and shoved her way past the people that dared get in her way. Two people in particular caught her eye as one yelled out for something about training or another. "Anyways, he will never find out...if you don't TELL HIM. You always tell you stupid boy. I swear...it's like having a little brother or something. Then he starts wailing on me about having to stop hurting people and s**t. Even though he does it, just not as obvious as I do. Then he doesn't give it as much as he should that night. And it's always your fault. So you keep your mouth shut or I'll slice it off." With this warning she followed said two men and tried to get a closer look.
"Do you think they could be the people we're supposed to ya know...knock off, Sam?" She asked the young boy, drawing closer to them.
"Mmmmm she never did give us pictures did she?" Sam replied.
"No...she should have, but for the price she's paying us? I'll deal." She scratched her stomach and coughed. She was a decent range from Lok and Dash with a new sword in her hand, leaving Dash weaponless. Once again she appeared to have not moved an inch. Sam was watching her with a nervous look.
"Mighty fine sword you have here, little lady." She said, her accent a bit deeper as she spoke. She ran a finger over the blade and let it draw blood. The drop of dark red liquid ran down the sword and she eyed the two men...oh three...from the corner of her eyes and smiled a wicked toothy grin. "Hey Sam? How much do you think this'd sell for?"
"Nesssaaaa...please..." He groaned and pulled at his curly brown hair. "You always make such a big deal out of stuff." He stopped as the sword was swung to his lips with such a speed that made it impossible to see move. "...bah...bahh...DON'T SLICE MY LIPS OFF!"
"No...just shut up...I think it'd sell nice. Maybe you should consider it? Seeing as how you probably need it?" She held out the sword to the prince with the same exact look a drunk surgeon would give his victims. "Oh! Wait! You're the prince. Right...then maybe I should sell it instead...seeing as how I am actually the poor and dirty filthy street rat."
Sam sighed loudly and rubbed at his filthy forehead. "Nessa...please...the prince? OH MAN SHE SAI-" His mouth shut and he grinned crookedly at the glare he received. "Shut up Sam! Right." He laughed again as Nessa twitched and looked back over to Lok and Dash before noticing the knight and raising a brow.
"Him? I could always teach you instead."
((Haha I DUNNO...I wanted her to interact with them...And I left the ending like that...cause I dunno who this knight is, and if she knows him or not, so it could work for both a stranger and someone she knows. Cause ya know...she wouldn't act much different.))

((... I WRITES. YAY.
And Tuefel...? I hope eventually you decide to post D:... yanno?))
Lok glared at the prince when he had caught up with him. "What?" He asked first not stopping in his trek to find whoever it was he might have been looking for. He probably wasn't too sure himself. And then he said: "Who would YOU know?" He demanded, but was gripped then by his wrist and drug backwards. He made a strangled angry noise and stumbled to swing himself around and jog after him.
"Ungh." He said, but let himself be lead. His own plan had been to find the first suitable person and fight them until he beat them... and move along until he felt he had fully 'learned' to do what he needed. Dash's plan seemed to be a bit better of an idea. That and the knight fighting was rather impressive. Even Lok had to admit it... for a hero, they kicked some a**.
From what he could see the knight didn't seem physically strong. He wasn't large by any means and was somehow almost smaller than the other two, both in the size of his muscled arms and the fact his torso was narrow and slight. Though, he made up for it in agility and tactic. The two young men fighting with him weren't managing to land any blows.
At Dash's call the knight lifted his head and with a shove of his broad sword sent one man reeling into the other man. They made a collective "OOF!" sound as they hit the dirt.
"OI!" Came the call back and he began to move closer, but as he came closer something became clearer and clearer.
But before Lok could point this new discovery out there was a woman behind them... and she had Dash's sword. Lok eyed her warily. He hadn't even seen the woman come near.
His mouth twisted into a snarl, but he never did get the chance to say anything.
"HIM?" The Knight said and then gave a laugh. It was a man's laugh, but not a man's voice. As the knight had drawn nearer something had become quite clear: she was no man at all. The knight was smaller for a reason.
She was a woman.
Her dark eyes sparkled in her pale face and she grinned a crooked smile. She was small and almost shapeless. Anyone could have mistaken her for a young boy. Her reddish blonde hair was cropped short to her chin and what was more was she was dressed like any normal knight would be. The only thing that truly gave her away was her voice and her face, which would have been too pretty and pixie like for any man. Her small noise might have been slightly crooked from a few too many blows, but the over all effect was still very feminine.
"You teach him?" Said the Lady Knight. "To what?" She rubbed her arm across her sweaty brow and smirked. "After all... you are just a dirty, filthy street rat. You could teach him to cheat and not bathe regularly, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders and slipped her sword into her belt. "And you know... honestly? Taking his sword really doesn't mean much, love... I mean seriously... the prince has swords coming out the a**. He could find a new one quicker than you could run your pretty little mouth."
She looked at Dash and frowned. "You mean you? As a student?" She quirked an eyebrow and seemed to be smirking. "I guess you could use some work."
Lok furrowed his eyebrows. "He meant me."
The Knight glanced at him once and snorted. "You?" She looked to Dash and her quirked eyebrow quirked higher. "HIM?" She wanted to know, seriously, as if the prince were trying to play a joke. Lok was silently storming in the corner of her eye.
