"Well just think... Whould you guess that that would in fact unlock the door? The answer is no, thus my house stays safe! And yes, it is increadably fun!
Gerbo procededs to do his magic 'dance' to unlock the doors.
"Alright then m'lads! Lets go!"

As the group enters the damage is immediate and breath taking in a bizare kind of way. The room seems to be on fire but not burning or emitting heat of any sort. And from the inside it apears far larger than it looked on the outside.
Beyond the haze of flames you can see black shapes moving around though they dont seem to see you.
"Gerbo what kind of place is this?" Chorin whispered keeping a wary eye on the dark forms. "What have we just gotten into?"

Regal drew his sword and attached his buckler to his other hand, readying himself for unknown adversaries.

"Yes... due to the misfortunes of my previous magical endevors, i caused a slight rip to the etheral plane... Which caused some of my little creatures to turn into big nasty killing machine creatures fueld by the power of endless magic."
Gerbo took a deep breath and continued to speak.
"Thats why we are here! to get rid of the beasties that i have unknowingly spawned! Lets go!"
He said as he bounded into the room pulling the rest of the group with him.

Two sets of burning armor known as Valor Spirits meet Firu and gerbo head on their ethereal blades swiping at the fighter and mage respectively in perfect mirrors of each other. While the flames themselves coalesce into burning phoenix's attacking Regal and Chorin.
((Tell me if you want posted stats otherwise I'll just give you some DM advice on the monsters))

Gerbo yells at his companions.
"Take out the pheonixes! The can't be harmed by my magic! those armors are mine!"
Gathering all the avilable magic he could muster up, Gerbo summoned two balls of paralizing energy; one in each hand. Flinging them at the armors, he jumped back to block any blows coming at him still.
(ok so i use the party pool MP + my MP to use speedy magic, then cast 2 energy burst, one on each armor costing an additional 0/spell because of both of my practiced spellcaster abbilities, dice for defense)

Jumping in front of the Armor attacking Gerbo, Regal absorbed the blow while slashing the phoenix attacking him.
