Ruby flew over the volcano, and, seen by a rather large number of treasure hunters, picked up the ruby from inside the lava fairly quickly. She then flew back to where the others were and dehenshined. She was completely unscathed. "You can stop the water now," she said, "thanks."

((Bah, didn't feel like having anything go wrong... yet.))

"Let's get out of here before the other hunters call the police for 'unnatural feats being pulled,'" Pez suggested.

((I've wanted an excuse to buy a pom pom scarf for the longest time... But I didn't have an avvie that went with the colors. BUT NOW I DO.))

Ruby nodded, but before anyone could get very far back down the mountain, one hunter had run over to where they stood.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" he exclaimed. This hunter looked about 17 years old. He had long-ish (for a guy... like Shinigami Takuto from Full Moon wo Sagashite) light brown hair tied back with a red string, bright green eyes, and dressed in a plain tee shirt, jeans, and sneakers. "I-I can't believe it! There actually are people with wings and the ability to control water and the like! Oh... I should seriously introduce myself. The name is--"

"You're Pepper's ex-boyfriend, Tobi," Brownie supplied for him, rolling her eyes. "Yeah, we know, or at least Ginger and I do. No one else here would, since they don't talk to Cinna, Basil, or Pepper quite as often as we do, let alone about the most random things. Personally, I'm surprised to see you here - I thought you were in the 'cool' crowd."

"Yeah, whatever," Tobi replied. "Anyway, I am, but my dad got me into this treasure hunting stuff. I thought I was dreaming at that party that time... those people with all the powers and such. But I know I'm not dreaming this time. So, who was the one who cooled the lava? I couldn't see you."

((Suki, Chi, remember Tobi from on the forum? In that plot where Mitsumi brings a bunch of the mews with her to some party? He's baaaack. Of all people, it just HAD to be him.

And for any other Naruto fans - I didn't steal the name Tobi from the Akatsuki member. I actually came up with it in October last year, without having been caught up on the Naruto manga.))

Pez stuck her tongue out at Tobi. "Go away," she spat. "Because the sooner you do that, the sooner we get to go home. And I don't like your face." Truthfully, she just wanted to be recognized because she had special powers, too. Not like a normal person would be able to tell just by looking at her. But Pez didn't care about that fact.

"Excuse her," Leichi said, sweatdropping and resting her chin on Pez's shoulder. "She's been iffy lately."

"Please don't speak for me," Pez said. "And kindly get your chin off of my shoulder." She took her hand and plastered it to Leichi's face and let a very small breeze go. It pushed Leichi's hair back ever so slightly, but not an extremely noticeable amount. It could have been identified as just a normal breeze.

Leichi stood up straight, taking her chin off of her friend's shoulder.

Serori sweatdropped.

((Wow, Pez has been a lot ruder, lately. XD))

"Weren't we around during that time?" Kiichigo asked Sekkai.

Sekkai pulled out a little device for no apparent reason, and then said, "Yes we were, and yet we weren't"

"See, this is why I think that my sister is the most helpful person in the world," Kiichigo said sarcastically.

"Sapphire... hey, isn't that some sort of a blue stone? I guess that makes sense, to have a water kind of power and a blue stone for a name." Tobi had noticed the breeze come from Pez's hand, but thought that it wouldn't be good to say anything about that. "Hmm, I'd rather not. See, the sooner I go back, the sooner my dad starts trailing you guys. He really wanted that ruby, you know. There's some sort of legend attached to it that I'm not completely sure of, so he wanted it."

"Sorry, but I got it, and I wanted it for exactly the same reason as your father," Ruby replied, rolling her eyes. "Better for you to tell your dad that some sort of mythical dragon creature claimed it for its hoard of treasure, rather than the truth. Or say that the ruby went back under the lava, but I think the dragon story's more plausible."

The pancake maker dropped suddenly to the ground. Landing on a small patch of some sort of conveniently placed plant matter, it managed to begin to smolder. But that's hardly important.

Ami kind of... um... fainted? Yeah, let's go with that.

Ceviche was already sitting on the ground and was currently being plagued by yet another demon of uselessness.
