Takehitsu smiled not understanding guns where a thing of the past and gas was eliminated as a poisonous recourse to be replaced with a more pure and much more powerful energy all the way back when fusion was replaced. "I don't really know but I take it it's not an easy thing. Gas based weapons are ineffective now." He stated.

Morik dropped a colt on the table "Six shots, and all of 'em will punch kevlar, plasteel, synthsate biofiber armor, and most tank armor, unlike this..." Morik dropped a large gun, one barrel with a large reloading breach in the back for what looked like a slug "...is a caster, and depending on the shell I use depends on whet type of shell it is. Now, this is gonna be trippy" Morik put a hand on Tahehitsu's shoulder, and they were standing in Takehitsu's time, about thirty seconds after he left "Remind ya of home?"

When Morik would look around he would see something he probably wasn't ready for. The skies where a black moving swarm of what would appear to be bugs and metalic weapons in which fireballs and many fragments of metal fell from. Where they stood where crashed ruins and there wasn't a bit of ground visible but a carpet of corpses, destroyed robots, beaten machines, pits with strange spinning spikes, Severed limbs, Broken weapons, and death in it's most mortifying of forms. There at the far ends of the field where two different sides. On one side was what appeared to be a large castle with many walls. It was made of metal, On top of it's walls where strange weapons and hordes of warriors soldiers and robotic weapons. The machinery against the walls lay in ruins as a failed assault against the great walls. As well as many different forms of weapon fire where being punched at the horde of flying bugs which completely cut off the source of sunlight. On the other side of the field where massive formations of warriors fully dressed in the heaviest of ghantak armors moving with large openings in their ranks. There where tank like vehicles launching all sorts of unidentifyable objects that would do things beyond what was imaginable. Most of the results where not visable as they would dissapear into the swarm. Others would be seen crashing into the walls and causing flaming black holes that had electrical swarms generating from them and they would be cancelled by towered defences. The horde of millions continued to march as if nothing was happening, as if this was their everyday life. From amongst the openings there would be seen massive towers for siegeing purposes far back enough to be out of range of any weapons that would target them. The sky had a strange burning whitish purple glow as if some weapon of unknown proportions had been used. Takehitsu knew exactly what was happening it had been a few years but this was right after that strange weapon malfunctioned and whiped out the entire two hordes which had been fighting over the field just to get too the fortress. Takehitsu now knew that he was the only one who had been just out of range of its effect and the burning color in the sky came from the ship that fired the weapon. The ship was burning in strange flames. The strange smell of the planet was because there wasn't an inch of it that didn't have blood stained soils and dirt. The planet was a carpet of bodies. This is Earth in Takehitsu's time. Nothing but death. And Takehitsu has the greatest singular kill count in the universe up to date. He looked at Morik for a second after all that time of wanting to come back he didn't feel right like he no longer belonged here. This life was over, it was no longer his existance, "Did you have something you wanted to show me?"

Morik looked up at the sky and laughed "This is why they needed me" He turned and looked at Takehitsu, a vile grin on his face and insanity in his dull grey eyes "Tell me, how did it look from the outside, and what..." he trailed off and pointed at the tower "...is in there?"

Takehitsu shrugged, "All I know was they fired a new weapon which made a mssive flash of light explode towards the battle that was here on the field. I jumped out of thw way mostly and fell through the groung like iot was a liquid. What's in the tower probably nothing more than a whole host of the greatest of my enemies. Then I could go in there and fight them but it would take me at my greatest strength to fight there, Which would be to my delight. But I don't feel like I belong here anymore."

Takehitsu smiled. They will probably regenerate somewhere, We couldn't find their regeneration facilities yet. These battles are also an entire different flavor. I warn you about those dragon looking robots if you are within 20 feet of them when they fire the flame like beam. You're ********. Those beams incinerate living cells which utterly means just about everything. Your shadows would be annialated so just be warry of those. The flying machines if you actually have the ability to see them moving at you in their excessive speeds or one of the box like ones stop pointing its strange canon like compartments at you. Move and fast. When fighting here defence can not be obtained by armor or powers. Inferno would be killed damn fast here. So would anyone else who tries to defend themselves with anything. Only block an opponents slash and give it back ten times worse. We should probably fall into the third block of soldiers here thats going to be advancing past us soon. Then we'll be amongst those who would actually make it upon the walls." Takehitsu explained.

"Bullshit, they're dead. Tell em' to fall back" Morik held out his arms and shut his eyes, black portals opening around him and marines poured out, and these were no normal marines, these were space marines, all wearing standards with the same symbol on them that Morik had tattooed on his chest "My men are better. Takehitsu, send this chapter to flank us, together we'll do about the same amount of damage" Morik charged the tank line without a moments thought, stopping and slapping the flying bots out of the air. The tank shells, however, were another matter. Morik was opening portals for each individual shell, and each portal had a twin... inside a tank. As the tanks tore each other apart, Morik rushed another one, punching it and tearing a massive hole in the front. he peeled back the armor and screamed, the sonics turning everything in the tank's interior turning to soup. The marines were laying down heavy bolter fire to the north, and they were doing considerably more damage than the others, their tech-priests using momentum spells to redirect long-range projectile fire, while the commisars used a combo of lazpistols and chainswords to dispatch the physical combatants, and they were taking minimal casualties

Takehitsu didn't say much just fell in line when the massive formationd began to charge. Morik didn't understand and probably now realized that his hands where being torn apart from the superior metal known as Ghantak and that the redirection of the shells really didn't do to much mainly because it required a lot more of his own energy and strength to redirect them as they are fired a t higher force and weigh much more than what he would think. The marine while pertially succesful would soon find their rounds pouncing off of massive shields and doing utterly nothing to the armor. They had only inflicted minimum damage. Takehitsu was in with the forces advancing towards the castle. (maybe I wasn't clear on that) The great walls themselves when approached on the ground it was soon visible that the base and up to 30 feet high had strange spikes on them. The spikes where soon lunched by the trillions into the heaviest shield anyone could see. The shield was 8 feet thick and carried by one man with both of his hands. Thuse the wall staging phase began. The massive towers zoomed through the oppenings between platoons and halted near the walls deploying massive walls at the base to stop the trillions of needle launched weapons. The giant mosquito mass fo ships with it's utter chaos moved downwards in an attempt to try and induce itsel into the battle upon the bround. One of the nasty squares which are the slowest but most defensive fighters and also one of the only ships capable of using liquid ghantak weaponry zoomed past and launched massive balls of Ghantak about the size of a man onto one of the platoons of Marines. The balls intent is to completely crush the person as Ghantak is for the most part not very destroyable. Thus the tactics of this future was to destroy the wearer of the armor and ignore trying to destroy it. The heavy balls could flatten a suit of armor therefore completely killing the bearer. The balls then returned and fired again, It fired three times before the marines would have been able to return fire to find the entire thing structured of Ghantak. Then a small orb like one manned ship came with tentacle like blades which pentrated the armor of the block letting a super powerful flame hotter then even that of lava come spewing out towards the sk as the cube fell crashing into the ground and exploding leaving half of the ship in a smoldering pile next to the marines platoon.

Morik, in a rage, jumps onto one of the orbs and started running at top speed, rolling the ball at a higher and higher speed away from the battle, until he began to run it in a wide arc, and back at the tower itself. If Ghantak was truly so powerful, then it could tear through the outer wall of the tower in nothing flat. he jumped off the orb as it rolled at terminal velocity into the tower. He jumped in between two squads of surviving marines. "Squad one, retreat to cover, team two, supressing fire!" As the first team moved to a mass of rocks and bodies, the second team killed anything coming close, sniper teams also laying down cover fire. When team one was set, they began to lay down cover fire in conjunction with several sniper teams to cover squad two's retreat to cover that was further back from two's position. When they were in position, team two moved again, following the retreat/fire pattern until they reached a larger group of retreating marines, most of which were carrying one to two wounded with them. Morik held out his arms and black portals opened for them, allowing them to transport the wounded out "This is insane. My men need out, and i need to do more damage than I'm doing. Takehitsu, cover me, I need about fourty seconds to put my rifle together"

The ball would have collided into the tower and splashed itself out but also leave a large dent similar to when a massive ball of metal is thrown into a large piece of thicker sheet metal. It was none the less effective. Takehitsu looked back at Morik as he barely heard his name get called. He saw that they where in a bad wave but also knew that from their current location they where good. Takehitsu himself had joined the ranks where he said would have been an ideal location as they had stepped into the middle of a massive ongoing siege. There where two sides and the field by now had one part where the enemy was attempting to leave the castle to engage the attackers, which was where Morik had unfortunately just been. And the second which was obviously attacking. Takehitsu waved an arm and one square of soldiers headed to where Moriks men was coming from behind them. They came and the leader raised his hand as a symbol to not shoot he ran over to Morik obviously knowing Takehitsu from somewhere. The man simply stated, "Don't worry we're here to replace you for the moment. They moved past Moriks men to the very edge of the rocks as huge hordes of enemy troops started moving out towards the massive army now attempting to scale and take the walls. A large chunk of them which no doubt outnumbered Moriks men and the reinforcements broke off and charged the rock formation. One thing Morik would probably find interesting was every person was wearing heavy armor with exception of Takehitsu. All of their armor resebled that of medieval armor but was much harder and thicker. The enemy group took losses as Moriks men found where too shoot to make kills and then collided at the base of the rocks and began combat with the forces that where sent to assist Morik. The sides where momentarily even so they weren't moving front or back but no one really knows how long that will last but the rock formations held assistance as natural barriers so the numbers would not help the enemy very much.
Takehitsu himself dissapeared into a portal which would immediately on top of the siege tower behind all those which had already gone up. The gate fell and now the blood on top of the walls would commence occuring. The top of the walls was massive. The walls where 50 feet wide allowing hundreds of thousands to be massed on them and have very large stagering advantages against the attackers. Massive blasts of energy slammed into a few enemy formations throwing bodies around. If there was a name for chaotic battles this was not even a warm up for some of the things Takehitsu had gone through.

There was a massive explosion on the outer wall followed by a crackle of electricity as the rifle blew a hole in the outer wall. morik was sitting on the ground with a massive dual barrel cannon propped up on two massive shock legs "Double buster, active reload set, preparing second shot" The cannon charged and fired a massive beam of energy, punching even deeper through troops and the outer wall, almost breaching the tower's outer defense wall
