(OOC: GASP!! Where did those come from!!! Points to guild Id in JLs sig!! Are those ours!?!?!?! Me wants!!!!! BTW Im godmodding Waters since I know him best, him being my best freind an all.)
As Eyes hides the door a distant rumble is heard above, it is the clock tower striking Midnight. "My favorite hour" remarks Eyes. Eyes heads off across the street and into the house across the street. Waters gets a sly grin, like he knows something no one else does on his face and follows Eyes into the house.

Mumbling something about the weather, She followed Eyes and Waters with nothing more than her vision, as they strolled confidently across the street. Gazing upwards toward what she assumed to be the source of the noise, she sighed; looked over her shoulder, and this time, she thought to herself, I'm following the General.
Her mind began to wander off the current task, and she started to think aloud. "What time is midnight here, on Earth? Would it be the same? And how come they use the same numerical systems as us? I would've thought it'd be ..older." Her rambling turned to confusion as the sudden urge to know overcame the thoughts of the moment, as she resisted the urge to run across the street, and after Eyes.

JL dawdled behind the others not really bothering to keep up. She grinned at the idea of midnight being anything otehr then midnight, just overhearing Space. "Probably because .. uhh.. I dunno actually." She finished lamely, stopping walking completley and looking back at the clock tower. "Kinda reminds me of Cinderella. That was so creepy the first time I watched that." After a few seconds she began to dawdle after SG-3 again, wished she'd stayed home in her nice, warm top secret mountain based facility.

Thinking to herself, I rather liked Cinderella; she walked nervously toward the house into which Eyes had entered mere minutes ago. Looking out for things to shoot, and being careful to keep General JL within her eyeline, so as not to repeat her previous mistake, she tightened her grip on the little gun. Shooting the same person twice in one day is not the fastest way to earn their trust, however accidental it may have been.

As everyone entered the house (yes i am assuming you have) Eyes turned around and said "Welcome all, to my secret safehaven. I established this years ago when I first travled here. I knew it would be worth it. Now..." Eyes dusted off a chair with his sleeve. Then sighed and took out one of the gems and willed the place clean. "There are rooms downstairs , feel free to furnish them how you like but not right now, I hear them coming." And sure enough a distant sound of chanting could be heard. Eyes pulled out his handgun and walked out into the street to meet whatever challenge was coming.

Unlike Eyes had assumed, JL had not gone in the house after everyone else because she was a General and didn't listen to other people, especially not the ones that supposedly knew the most about the world she was on. She didn't hear any of what Eyes said but did hear the chanting. This lead to her loading her P-90 with a click and hurrying away from Eye's house and across the street then down a side road. She pushed her helmet out of her eyes and started laying C4 around an old empty-looking house. It had cobwebs in. It would be useful as a distraction when these 'vampires' attacked. HAH. JL took a moment to realise she had said 'HAH' outloud.

She peered out of the doorway, and down the passage she could have sworn she just saw JL disappear down. A little confused, she mentally noted that the route just taken by the General was completely the opposite to that taken by Eyes and Waters. Remembering her previous decision, she decided to follow the General, despite it being down a rather shabby, worn down, uninhabited area of the town. Whatever, she thought. The General knows best.
She ran down the street after JL, screaming at the top of her lungs; "General.. GENERAL. WHERE ARE YOOOU?! I'm scared." Space was now standing in the middle of the street, looking over her shoulder, and aiming the gun the other way, shaking a little bit. Again.

The General had been walking the other way but turned back when she heard Space's call. What was that damn anthropologist think she was doing?! Sure, General JL let things slide. Quite a lot. She was a rather leanient person mostly but the civvie was starting to grate, just a little bit.. JL moved back silently towards where Space stood and peered round the corner. There she was... JL reached out and went to grab Space's sleeve and haul her round the corner, out of the light of the main street with a hiss of "Shut the hell up!" She also decided to swiftly remove the gun from Space's hand via two pressue points and a twist of her arm. The General really didn't want to get shot twice in 10 minutes.

Stunned and confused, she slumped to her knees, dragging the General down with her as she hit the cobbles, rather much harder than first intended. She squealed and yelped as the weapon JL had taken from her now dug deeply into her left side. "Youch." She mumbled, disheartened.

JL was yanked down after Space and ended up half on her knees with the locked arm and gun squished into the ribs of the civvie. She swiftly let go of Space and hauled the gun away at high speed, landing on her butt. She drew the Zat and put the handgun into the holster before hauling herself to her feet, offering a hand to Space and the zat in the other hand. "I think you'll be safer with this. One press of the button to activate it, one shot to stun, two shots to kill and three to disintergrate the remains." She said this quite calmly and rather quietly, not wanting to be heard. "Now, quickly Space, back on your feet and let's get moving."

She stood sheepishly, dusting off her uniform, and blinking at the peculiarly shaped object that had taken over from her little and rather effective gun. She blinked at it some more. "Uhm, thanks." She raised one eyebrow and held it between her forefinger and thumb, wary of shooting the General again. And of being disarmed. Again. She noticed the C4 scattered around the house nearby. "Uh, General, what is all that stuff? Did you put that there?" She stood and gawped, in awe of the large amounts of metaphorically shiny stuff. Impressed at how quickly she had managed to place it all.

JL looked to the house. "C4." She said simply. After a moment she passed the detonator to Space. In the far distance there were cries and voices, shouting and chanting. A deep voice shouted "All villagers get out of your houses!" JL squinted a little at this. "Oh fer cryin' out loud." She muttered to herself. "We're going." She stated after a moment and headed back towards the clock tower. "I know the 'gate's in the tower, Eyes whispered it to me. Let's get back to the SGC and get back-up from SG-11 and 12." She headed towards the tower now, assuming that Space would follow her.

As they arrived back at the tower, Space decided that now was as good a time as any to point out to the General, that the Clock Tower that had supposedly been masked, was in actual fact, still completely visible. "Uhm, General, didn't Eyes say he'd mask this tower? Or something like that.." She continued to stare at the large building, one of large wooden doors was now propped ajar. She held the Zat at arms length, away from the General, and pressed the 'open' mechanism. She looked at the sign on the door, hanging above a seemingly abandoned pub just across the street from them, it was swinging a little in the evening breeze, but she thought she could hit it. She lent forward a little, and fired. Space felt the blue electrical surge almost before it hit her in the face. After much violent twitching, she fell to the floor, for the second time that evening.

JL was about to say something along the lines of 'move out' or something like 'look, shut up and let's go inside' but was cut short buy the fizzling sound of the zat being fired. She looked over her shoulder, assumed they were being fired at and swiftly drew one of the handguns strapped to her thigh and pulled it into firing line in one fluid motion. She fired once into the darkness, only just realising that the spasming shape behind her was in fact the bloody anthropologist causing mayhem again and not some long fanged vampire out for innocent, young females. (Not that JL was either of these particularly but it's good to dream). She kept the gun ready and padded back to Space, kneeling at her side. "You.. urrghh... Oh fer'..." She muttered to herself, adding rather more explicit things in between the words, under her breath. "Space?" She whispered after a moment, leaning over the civvie. After a moment she went to slap her. They didn't have time for cuddles and love right now.

She awoke just as JL's hand planted itself upon her cheek. Her vision was blurry and her head was pounding. Her arm hurt, too, come to think of it. Her first instinct was to curl up in a foetal position and clutch her arm, screwing up her face and announcing, with a shrill cry, that it hurt. She lay in a ball whimpering to herself, not really looking for sympathy, but hoping for it none the less.
