Anyone notice how stretched the Database has become? It's getting kinda hard to read and I imagine it would take forever for someone with dial-up to load it on. But then again it was created back when we only had one forum so that it wouldn't clutter. But now that we have an entire forum for stuff like this, what do you say that we take out the Database thread and export all the bios to their own threads so it's easier to read?

And what about some new moffs? ND pretty much retired and Shathdra hasn't been here in forever.

No way.

We are not going to split that up. Once LoP ends, 90% of the space will be freed up.

The only reason why there's so much junk is because everyone uses a picture for everything anyways.

Plus, the database is reusable if you do it right. I told you to not do the bios for legacy until later, that way you could use the space LoP took up, but you went ahead and made four more posts to take up that much more space.

You want to reduce "clutter", so you make four more bio threads.

If you have to, just put in four pages on that thread, one per rp.

And we didn't have that many threads back then. In fact, we have mroe threads now than we ever did before, since we have that spam forum, and now you're suggesting adding even more.

That works too. But don't go deleting bios and creating multiple threads.

Since we pretty much know what everyone looks like, maybe only older bios can get rid of pics (put in url form) but newer ones get buffer times so we don't waste so much time.

Put them on different pages.

You don't need four threads to do the job one does though. I really don't want to search through pages of threads jsut to find one bio though.

Its hard enough to find things without having a thread for each specific discussion. I mean, we set the threads up to be general in the first place strictly for this reason.

We didn't want ten thousand threads each with specific information so we wouldn't have to go through page after page of each subforum to find the specific info.

And why are you waiting for the page to load? anything that is text automaticallly shows up anyway. Unless you have to look at pictures, there's little reason to be sitting around.

You're making this sound worse than it is. Quit being lazy, and use your scroll wheel. Once COTGCW is finished, most of this junk will be gone anyways, so don't worry about it and use the effort to scroll down half a page to read your BoV post.

True, but we already have the means to post bios as is now.

Nobody complained about it during SotF, why change it now? Its not like legacy addendums made it so much longer...
