ONLY A WOLF WOULD SAY THAT *also kidding* But yeah, last game, I was LYNCHED because I was on, but didn't post in the thread due to me taking naps and whatnot. It's alright, actually. I sorta had the feeling I would be killed off. Damn you, emotional fever. To say this lightly, I'm tired now. I only want to go to school to go to band and get a sticker with my name on my stand! xd I'm insane.

Koosei Betman Romyion ~Laurel_Suzukaru~ Romyion So Koosei, why do you go to College? Gonna become a VIDEO GAME DESIGNER?! I'll bet she'll make games that turn people into zombies so she can eat their brains. And she'll use the nasty ones as a crown and be the zombie queen. She's just covering herself by saying she's gonna be a librarian. And why do you think she is a Zombie? So you're trying to make Koosei look bad eh? Well only a WOLF would say that.

Koosei Romyion Koosei Romyion .... eek YOUR GOING TO COLLEGE TO BE A LIBRARIAN?! That sounds oh so stupid. xp pffft. you say that now. most people just don't understand all the hard work we do. keeping our history alive through books, making sure people can access the information through an ORGANIZED catalogue, helping people figure out their own questions ...... We do a lot of work that we don't get credit for. But going to College for that? Seriously, i that just about anyone could get hired as a Librarian. Even a bum. ........ I think I just had a mini-heart attack. ANYONE can be a page and shelve books. but not just anyone can be a librarian. you need training. do you know how to fill out and create an order form to bring new books into the library from the publishers? do you know how to use and create catalogue entries? do you know how to create a customer complaint form and deal with a challenge to a book or mterial in the library? do you know how to create a selections policy? a collection policy? a donation policy? do you know how to make a policy PERIOD? do you know how to perform a reference interview? help a patron with a vaguely worded question find exactly what they're looking for if even they aren't sure what specifically they're looking for? Not much for an intro, but we LEARN how to do those things, so we can give good customer service and keep the library in business, and so that we can help people find the knowledge they're looking for. Romyion But im stilled a little confused. Librarian+College=??? to me. should I mention that I'm technically becoming a Library Technician? There's the position of a Librarian, which is the higher up, more authoritative one, and then the Library Technician, which does the more hands-on stuff. The Librarians learn the theory (and there's four years to it, resulting in a Master's degree), and the Library Technicians learn the technical, with a two year diploma

Romyion But im stilled a little confused. Librarian+College=??? to me. I'm pretty sure you need to go to college to be a librarian. My mom is a librarian and guess what, she had to go through the whole interviewing thing and had quite a bit of competition. So no, being a librarian will require college.
