"Ahm guessihn sheh wahntehd tah maihke suah." Arch shrugged. "Ahnehweah weh cahn drahwp yeh ahf?" He glanced back at the Seer, who's eye could be seen open, but narrowed. He walked foreword and replaced the illusionary head with the real one.

Erica shook her head, and loooked out the bus window at the New phoenix walls ahead of them. "No, this will suffice, I have things to do here. But I will most likely return to the base later." She paused at the door, turning back to Arch. "Good luck to you, and your redhead. She practically glows for you, and as a fellow empath, I'm sure you've noticed. I let myself get jelous of her happines, and I apologize for the things I said. They were uncalled for, and spoken out of misplaced spite. Again, angel, good luck to you both." She moved through the door, giving a slight wave.

Arch nodded his head, smiling, then letting her out, safely away from the mines. All the while, the illusion showed them heading back towards Union City, and Arch blinked them close enough to be even with the illusion, which was then dropped, once everything was in place. Arch made sure to look serious again, unsheathing his wings before hand, despite the slight popping noise as a mine exploded under the bus.

The green moth was contented with the illusion, and reported it back to Ora, who was still at the restaurant She wondered exactly how she was going to present a book that she didn't even have, but the immediate task was done, so she wasn't concerned. She turned back to her meal a dark smile on her face.

The bus was past the mine field, and Arch was preparing.
He quickly cleaned off his sheaths ((he could see that illusion as well, and it bothered him)), put his sword on his hip, and readied himself. He drove into Union City, ready to...
/Wait/
Arch glanced back at the Seer, who was looking slightly saddened. "Theh fhuchk doh yeh meahn?" Arch inquired, raising an eyebrow.
/Keep driving, act like nothing is wrong/ The Seer was speaking directly to Arch now, preventing Ora from hearing any of it. Arch nodded his head, and kept going. /You're going to have to handle this very carefully, Ora doesn't have the book. It was the Rider's doing, not hers./ The seer sighed, which sounded very strange in someone's mind. /I don't have any advice, but you're going to have to figure it out./

Miran's shadow looms out quite a few yards infront of the bus heading towards him. Hands beginning to glow bright red as his eyes glow white, the brim of his hat tipped down. Waiting for the oncoming bus and his glowing hands were a signal to stop. If not there would be trouble.
((Thats if the bus is still driving around here.))

Miran's gaze that has been looking over the battle field like a hawk, suddenly turns towards the shelter out off in the distance. Melding down into the ground as his shadow moves through out the mine feild and towards the Shelter.

Miran having left the shelter in ruins now made his way back up to the perch of his hill avoiding the mines and resting under the dead tree atop of his hill. ((...One tree hill...was that a book or a movie?)). To rest and keep his watch again.

A.C. might as well have arrived in a storm of fire for the anger she radiated approaching his hill. The bat was out, but so was the gun, and the Swiss Army knife around her neck was open to the biggest blade as if in warning. When she got far enough to see Miran under his tree, her jaw clenched, and she drew up her gun. Cocked it. Aimed it.
Fired twice.
"May God judge you fairly, Miran," she intoned through clenched teeth, "and damn you for what you've done." And then she set off the remote-detonation mine directly underneath him for good measure.

The bullets, having been fired first, graze along his cheek, leaving two cuts as his shadow melds into the ground and darts off just before the mine goes off, racing out and rising up behind Aryn Chris, his white gaze set upon her. "....Foolish are actions fueled solely by rage and vengence." He says.

((Who says I was aiming for the head? The chest is so much harder to miss. cool ))
"Then call it righteous anger," she spat back, spinning to face him so fast that the knife around her neck flew out and sliced the tip of his nose. She fired the gun point blank at his center of mass this time, since apparently the sights or weight had been off before.
