"I don't want to..." Kaleb muttered. He was comfortable right where he was. "I could try and get one from here, but it would be a little awkward."

Kaleb huffed a little and squirmed out from his blanket pile. Once he thought about it, the icecream had made him very thirsty and he would just be too distracted and uncomfortable to sleep if he didn't do something about it. It didn't take him too long to get a glass of water and finish it off, before crawling onto the couch and slipping back under the blankets where he was before.

Once Kaleb was back on the couch he wrapped an arm around him and settled down. It would be a bad idea to sleep on the couch but he was comfortable and didn't want to move.

"Are you sure you don't..." He yawned. "Are you sure you don't want to go to bed?" He knew Riley could be pretty lazy when it came to sleeping, but it wasn't that far to the bed... He wouldn't complain though, he didn't particularly want to move either even though the bed would probably be just as comfortable.

"Don'wanna move." He yawned again and closed his eyes. He wasn't getting up.

"Okay..." Kaleb snuggled up against Riley, and although it wasn't his usual sleeping position, it was still pretty nice. And he was already starting to drift off to sleep, so that just added to his incentive not to move.

He nuzzled Kaleb before he drifted off to sleep.

The next morning he was woken by his shoulder coming into contact with the arm of the couch. He grumbled as he remembered that he'd gone to sleep on the couch rather than in his bed.

Riley's movement stirred Kaleb awake, and he yawned a bit and reached up to rub the sleep out of his eyes. He moved to sit up, but his back muscles locked painfully and he let out a quiet whimper as he abandoned the attempt. The sprawl on the couch had been comfortable, but not so good to his back.

He opened one eye and looked at Kaleb. "You alright?" The whimper hadn't sounded alright.

Kaleb nodded, and shifted position slowly and carefully. "Y-yeah, I-I'm okay. My back is just really stiff." He would really need to stretch it out well, once he figured out how to go about sitting up.

He moved one hand and rubbed one of Kaleb's shoulders. It was a weird angle but it didn't hurt that much. "Couches aren't meant to be slept on"

"Mnn..." Kaleb automatically shifted to make Riley's rubbing easier, and then stopped moving entirely to enjoy the sensation. "Both of us trying to sleep here probably didn't help anything."

"Probably not ... but didn't wanna move last night." He'd been comfortable when he went to sleep. It was just those silly little things like muscles complaining after you'd woken up.

Kaleb yawned again and tried to relax, otherwise his back would never let him get up. "It wouldn't have taken that long to get to bed," he said, but he wasn't really complaining. He didn't really want to move last night either.
