Kuro stopped walking when she heard a strange bird like cry. She turned around to look at the sky. "That's weird. I thought I heard a bird cry and it sounded just like Drakara." Alex turned around when he realized his sister had stopped. "Come on, Kuro. You don't want to be late." said Alex. "Coming," said Kuro as she decided to think about it later.

Rink walked into his Advanced Ptoions class, along with Arai. They both sat down in their desks as the teacher, Mori, swept into the room. She gave the chattering class a quick, assessive glance, then picked up a large textbook,opened it, then slamed it shut again with a loud bang. The class fell silent and faced foward, and Mori raised an eyebrow at them before turning to write on the chalkboard behind her.

Golden Ryne started.
" Curse...?" She whispered, her throat suddenly dry. Her palms began to sweat as she sat down again.
The headmistress nodded..." A curse upon the youngest girl in thy family. Ye. I shall tell ye of this when...Ye comes back with the creatures. Now go. Gather Rink and Arai first." The head shooed her out of the office.
Golden Ryne shook her head to clear her thoughts. But she went to find Rink and Arai. Knocking softly upon the classroom door, the elf stood waiting to be noticed.

Mori looked up when Ryne knocked. "Yes, Elf Maiden, what do you need?" She said softly, though she had never seen Ryne before and shouldn't have known what race she was. Rink and Arai both looked toward the door curiously.

Golden Ryne's voice was calm and strong. Her eyes blazed their different colors.
" I need Rink and Arai please. We are on the Headmistress's order's ma'am." the maiden said. She held her regal head high and waited.

"Very well Child." Turning to Rink and Arai, Mori gave a sweep of her hand and said, "Your are dismissed. Your journey is a long and taxing one. Take heed, I tell you do not loose your focus, or off the beaten path you will stray."
Arai looked a bit confused, but Rink just took the words in and continued out the door. Arai followed close behind him. "What's going on?" Rink asked Ryne after Arai shut the classroom door.

Ryne's lips were a tight line.
" We're going on a mission." She said softly. " A long one..." Her amber and blue eyes glittered sadly...For she could see the future. The elf maid would not come back alive. She smiled and gently squeezed Rink's hand.
" Arai, ye up for this?" She asked playfully.

(( O.O plot twists... ))
Arai nodded. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine." The voice inside her head whispered, "You could use my strength on such a long misson..." Arai shook her head forcefully, stopping the voice.
Rink sensed some sadness from Ryne, but he couldn't tell why. He squeezed her hand back gently, offering comfort for whatever troubled her.

Golden Ryne smiled.
" Beware...We must gather three others before we set off. We must leave tonight." Ryne said to both of them. She knew Rink could sense her sadness.
" Ye cannot offer me comfort Rink. I cannot..." Ryne turned her pretty face away.

"I'm bored. I can't believe I forgot that I don't have class right now." groaned Kuro as she laid down on the grass. Alex rolled his eyes. "You should really memorize your classes." Kuro glared at him. "You forgot too." Alex frowned, but sighed as he leaned back against the tree.

Renka looked into the door and saw that the teacher had posted a note:
All classes for the day are canceled.
Renka gathered her things and went to the river and sat next to Arai, but looked around.

((Yes very...its makes thing sound foreboding.))
Rink looked puzzled, but remained quiet.
Arai followed quietly behind the two. Her other side had been getting more forceful lately. Now the voice was a constant nagging in the back of her mind, rarely ceasing. It whispered all day to her, and even when she went to bed. Her demon form appeared in her dreams when she slept, talking to her persuasively. Arai closed her eyes to block out the light for a second because it now irrated her eyes and made her head hurt. Sighing, she opened them and contniued on, wincing as the three of them stepped out into the birght light of day.

Yet the Elf Maiden held tightly onto Rink's hand. She blushed slightly, this open display was new to her. She knew that she shouldn't do this...It would only cause her more pain...But she wanted the little comfort he could offer. He took her mind off her death and the worries of the adventure. Ryne sighed and moved closer to Rink.
" Look! There's Alex, Kuro and Renka. We can gather them...And I shall tell ye all of our....Journey we embark on tonight. " Golden Ryne said. A smile played across her lips.

Kuro heard someone coming so she sat up and looked around. "Alex, there's Ryne, Arai, and Rink," Kuro said. Alex turned around and said, "I wonder what they want?' Kuro thought for a minute. "Maybe something important since they should be in class right now,"

Renka continued to draw her picture that she was working on before Wind Class, she lifted her head to see Arai, Ryne, and Rink coming, but then looked back at her drawing and started to draw it.
