Irvine closed his eyes to rest. He listened to the relaxing sound of the waterfall as it hit the rocks and then splashed into the stream. He dozed off into a nice, peaceful sleep. A sleep undisturbed by dreams. It was a comfortable sleep, one that he hadn't had in such a long time. It felt good. Hours later he awoke to the familiar sound of water hitting rock. He felt for Requiem around his neck and let out a sigh of relief when his hand brushed against the cool metal. He blinked a few times and yawned. Then, crawling over to the waterfall, he got a drink of water. When he was finished, he sat back and looked at the running waterfall with distant eyes.
"What happened to me? Where has my life gone? Did I even have a life? WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!"
Frustrated, he punches the wall. The cave shudders slightly from Irvine's outburst, but he soon calms down. His eyes had flared with the fire and vigor he once had, but now they dimmed again. His silver eyes glazed over as he continued staring at the waterfall. Everything just seemed to drain him of his energy. Of his life. It was as if he were no more than a zombie. He had nothing to live for. Nothing to fight for. He couldn't beat Xol on his own, and he'd absolutely refuse help. There was nothing he could do but wait for death to come for him. Or was there?

*Mastema appears in the middle of the forest under the gray sky. He looks around, unarmed, with an odd grin* Now...come out come out.... I know you're here...somewhere twisted

So what's your next step? Are you going to continue to try and obliterate the company or are you going to just follow me and keep trying to torment me? If you going after me you should know you can't do much worse to me... I'm already as low as I can get

It hurts me to see you like that... and I didn't even now you that well...
*bows his head and continues to listen. At hearing someone call for mastema he jumps down off the tree and runs towards the other person.*
Leave mastema alone for now. He needs to talk.

*smirks* My plans for you have all climaxed with the recent events Twilight. I have nothing else planned for as of now.... My original beliefs still stand. Of course I will still plot the down fall of the company...the main obstacle in my way. The question is.... will you try and stand in my way still? *grins*
