((Sorry, habit. You dodged, Raven. Sorry, much.))

Kaosu normally waited for Haro to stop talking or accent his talking; that's normally what he did before he struck. He wasn't prepared for the sudden attack mid-sentence. He could only watch the fist come towards him in his peripheral vision before it struck. He managed to keep his ground, however, and only dropped to the ground. He couldn't see straight. He saw four feet that belonged to Haro, and had a difficult time telling which were real. He groaned, grabbing the spot where Haro struck.

His head pounded, not allowing him to think straight. He tried standing up, but fell right on his butt. He then remembered he was fighting, and got up to his feet. Still a little wobbly, he took a quick swing at Haro's head. It looked as if he was drunk.

Tsai moved his leg away from the landing on Karite and placed the leg back into position, repositioned his entire body quickly enough to place his right knee on the ground and using his right hand acting as extra support..

Dodge:
20 + 18 = 38

..Tsai kicked upwards with his opposite side at Karite's chest. Again, it was back to basics but as long as Karite continued to remain a mystery, this battle would never heat up to an eventful climax. "Hey, how about we get started already? Your opening act is boring me,"

"Alright, I will show you why I am not your normal person, my dodges are also my attacks. The true style of my family. The Crescent Moon Shadow." Karite said as the foot came at him, he replaced it with his own attack on the original attack. He put a palm int the foot trying to send a resonate force back into Tsai's leg, while his other hand came down trying to break his leg at the knee. "Lets get this battle close, first one, to not be able to attack loses, but only bone breaking hits are allowed."

Haro grinned from ear to ear as he felt his fist connect with the head of his opponent, but something inside of him was really starting to protest, for he knew that Kaosu was getting weaker and weaker with every strike, and he did not want his friend getting hurt. The outside him however didn't care if Kaosu lived or died at the moment. He just seemed to grin as he watched the sloppy punch come towards him. He just moved his head to the side and grinned as the fist missed completely. He then stretched out his arm and he flicked Kaosu inbetween the eyes, thoguh he did it extrordinarily light, only mocking him. It was not meant for damage, only to make Kaosu feel like a fool.

Tsai merely chuckled as he grabbed Karite's wrist to avoid the palm attack to his foot. The incoming leg was easy to dodge after that. With a swirve of the legs, Tsai was able to dodge the attack and get himself out of his situation. "Pretty good, pretty good, anything else?" he asked.

Dodge:
20 + 4 = 24

He then punched forward casualyl and simply. "Since this is your family art, I hope to see more, maybe sometime later I can show you my families' art, but that will be when we use our zampakuto," he said. Tsai's speciality like his family specialized in using zanjutsu and hoho, making them quick assailants, speed was there ally not power.

"ha ha, my family loved animals, we watched their movements and learned well of how to form their attacks into our own." Karite said as he pulled his arms to about his waist in a X pattern. As Tsai's fist came at Karite he moved his hands and caught them in the X. "Snake venom grab. Simple yet it works easily. If you weren't so damn fast this would be a nice finish but since you are, I will try my best to cause some damage." Karite said as he spun unfolding the X to the point where Tsai arm was over his shoulder. Karite then drop to his knee and began to yank Tsai's arm down trying to break it at the elbow.

Kaosu HP: 4

Kaosu barely felt the flick. He saw it, but he was too numb to care. His head kept pounding, and he instinctively jumped back in case Haro tried anything else. While he was standing there, he finally noticed how weary his body was. His breathing was heavy and ragged, it sounded almost as if someone else was drawing in those breaths. At the same time it hit him how weary his muscles were from all the movement and the pounding. He blinked and shook his head. He didn't want to feel that right now, but it had come, and it wasn't stopping.

He took ragged steps towards Haro, his eyelids beginning to droop. He had never felt this weary from a fight, but then again he never had this long of a battle. He took a deep breath and pulled his arm back. He tried swinging his right arm straight for Haro's head, but the strain made it slower, weaker than normal. He felt it burning all the way down in his legs just from the movement. After the swing, he fell down to his knees. He could barely hold himself up. He could only keep his concentration on breathing, and staying awake.

As he saw the man's reaction to everything Haro seemed to laugh, glad that he was so depleted from the combat, and he shook his head. "Unworthy to spit on." He growled as he stood there, looking Kaosu over. But something snapped within him then, as the punch came towards his face his arm lashed out and gripped the fist, holding it tightrly and trying to crush the hand, but before he did anythign else his one eye faded to a complete white color and all the symbols on his body began to melt together, making his skin completely back and they were one hundred percent different when they re-appeared. He dropped to his knees and he placed an arm behind Kaosu's back. "This fight is over friend....it's over." He said as he looked into his eyes, the bloodlust was gone, and the real Haro had overpowered the blood-thirsty savage. "I'm so sorry Kaosu....I didn't mean to be so cruel...to be so mean...horrible. I don't expect forgiveness....I truely don't....but...I'm sorry none the less." He said, sitting behind Kaosu his arm still behind him supporting the first friend he had made at the academy...and hopefully a friend he would keep.

Tsai gave a small smirk at the comment about his speed, but the truth be told, he was actually pretty slow compared to his families' mastered art. Even though he was adopted into the family, he had studied the arts of the Lin Clan for only a mere several years. To perfect the arts would take much longer. Tsai soon was caught off guard as he was pulled down. He reacted quickly, backflipping right above Karite, breaking through his grip and avoiding a serious injury.

Dodge:
20 + 11 = 31

"Not bad, anymore you'd like to show me?" he questioned as he spun around and punched downwards towards Karite's back, which was now facing Tsai.

He half-heard the words Haro spoke, and merely nodded. He didn't want to speak, because he was afraid. Afraid of all the emotions coming out. Nobody, not even his friends, should see him cry. Unfortunately, he felt the stinging of the tears. Might as well get speaking before he breaks down completely. "I..." He tried speaking, but now his chest was burning.

"I forgive you." He whispered, trying to stay up with Haro's help. He felt the wetness of the tears running down his cheeks now, he didn't even want to stop them anymore. His parents... "M-my parents...they...I-I never got to...say goodbye to them." He sobbed again, trying to wipe the tears away. "The l-last thing I told them was...was that I..." He felt repulsed just saying it. "...hated them."

He covered his face with his free hand, the other supporting him. "I tried...saying g-goodbye. They just d-didn't hear...me." Then, he began laughing. Sure, he was crying, but he was laughing. "Heh...I...I lost. Again. How many times is that?"

He tried standing up, but his legs were too shaky. He fell back down again, and cursed himself. He finally just gave up and crawled to the nearest wall and sat against it. He patted to the space next to him, motioning for Haro to join him. His eyes were still red from the crying, but he didn't care right now. "Good job there, Haro. You're a vicious fighter and you should be...proud." Truth be told, he was scared. Haro was changed. Normal, vicious, normal. The best part being about this is that Kaosu was barely concious.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:54 pm

Haro listened to every sobbed word that the man spoke, and with every tear that dripped from his eyes he held the man a little tighter. Everyone needed a hug now and then, and he couldn't picture quite the better time to give Kaosu one. After he had finished telling the heartbreaking story about his parents and semi-stopped crying he let Kaosu out of the embrace and shook his head slowly. "Nobody needs to count the times that you've lost, that is an unimportant statistic...the friends you've ad...and the friends you have...now that is soething to be proud of...to keep track of." He said with a grin, ruffling Kaosu's hair and following him back to the wall.

But as he was told that he had done a good job...and that he should be proud his demeanor totally changed from worried to serious. "Listen, there is no circumstance out there where I should be proud of what I have done. I emotionally battered you only so I could take advantage of your feelings and I treated you not liek a friend, but truely as if you were as bad as one of the hollow." He said, obviously digusted with himself. He took a deep breath and the symbols that covered his whole body swayed gently, issuing a state of calm over him. "You fought valiantly...and you are a wonderful fighter indeed. You are the one out of the two of us whom should be proud. Me...I only should be sorry." He mumbled.

Kaosu laughed again. "Yeah, I may have fought well, but I lost. What point is there in fighting 'valiantly' if I lost?" Quickly, he added, "At least a dozen times." It was a sad fact, too. Kaosu was being beaten around left and right; no victories. He was a fighter. What point was there in fighting if he kept losing?

Then he remembered Ugu, and his promise. "Haro, do you think I could beat...oh...say Ugu, if I trained a little more?" He was trying to be as sly as possible, not revealing his intention. He was doing a horrible job at it however. "I mean...there's no particular reason...of course. Just wondering?"

Haro laughed as he sat there beside his friend. "Kaosu...the things you fail to see...are those that are right under your nose it would seem. You feel like fighting holds no purpose because you do not win. But the fact is, that you are not accomplishing nothing, with every fight, you teach yourself more...you become much better. I can say myself...you are much better then the first time I ever saw you. You can't deny that my friend." He said with a bright smile.

He then laughed once more as he was asked about Ugu and he shook his head, knowing that Kaosu was trying to be subtle. "Well, you could be anyone...you can beat god himself if you train hard enough." He said with a smirk. "Kaosu my friend, you just need to give yourself tie...and train diligently. Maybe I will have to join you whilst you train and help you out a little." He said with a sly smile as he sat there, watching the battle ensue between Tsai and Karite. "So, who you have your money on?" He asked with another smirk.
