Kaleb blushed a bit more, but he took a bite of the sandwich without an argument. He certainly didn't want to argue with Rude over anything, let alone something as silly as a sandwich. It was good though, and he had no problems finding the motivation to take another bite.

He squirmed around on the couch for a moment until he got comfortable.

Kaleb was very careful not to drop any crumbs on the couch as he ate, but he only got through half the sandwich before setting the plate down on the short table in front of the couch. With his stomach sated, he glanced over at Reno to see if it were okay to snuggle up again.

He raised a brow and opened his arms. If Kaleb was going to cuddle back up that was fine with him. Though he'd probably get bored eventually and go for the tv remote.

Kaleb scrambled back into his lap with a blush and a little sheepish smile, snuggling up to Reno and resting his head on the redhead's chest. He let his eyes close with a soft contented sigh.

He opened his mouth to say something stupid but, for once in his life, decided against it. He'd tormented Kaleb enough for the day. Though the kid did look like a lost kitten that just wanted company.

"You sure you don't mind me being here?" Kaleb muttered in a quiet voice. He knew Reno had answered that already several times that day, but the redhead could have changed his mind, and Kaleb just had to be sure he wasn't imposing or anything.

"Sorry," Kaleb said weakly, "I-I just had to be sure..." He yawned a bit and then frowned, thinking it certainly wasn't a good thing to be yawning in the middle of the day. It must have been something about being close to someone else, the warmth was making him drowsy.

"Mmm...nap time." He drug Kaleb closer and snuggled against Rude. Screw being awake for the day if he didn't have anything to do then he wasn't going to do anything damn it

Kaleb frowned a bit more. "I-I shouldn't sleep now, or I'll never get to sleep tonight." He stifled a second yawn, "I-I should probably practice my shields again."

"Yeah, as long as I can imagine the place I need to go to, and it's within the range of my magical strength to get there." Kaleb had tested those limits well, which meant he was also working on ways to get around them.
