Steps into the arena examining the field set before him.
Hmmm... this hall do well..
He leans to the ground taking some sand in his hand and letting the wind carry it away.
This shall do nicely indeed...

((A note to the two of you who were looking for A battle. Normally you have to arrange the fight with another member when you see them on. Otherwise your chances of getting in a good fight are slim.))

The knight walked in wearing his light weight armor, he unsheathed his blade and stabbed it into the floor, sitting on a rock and using the sword as a rest for his chin, he kept watch for some fighters who may be passing by.

She sits quietly on the outer edge of the fighting grounds, drawing circles in the dirt with a stick she'd found. Finally, she speaks.
"It seems no one wishes to battle today.."

A small girl slipped into the arena, her stocking feet pattering softly on the stairs and she moved quickly to the center of the arena. She slid to a stop as she reached the floor, watching the door in the dark. The small vampiress hadn't even bothered with the lights, but she drew her sword quietly. She knew he could come from anywhere if she didn't pay attention. She called out in a soft, sing-song voice to him.
"Furoshima, come out, come out. Mai wants to play with you, Onisan!"
The girl giggled, and pretended to relax, ressting her right hand on her hip as she waited for him. She held her sword in a way that was carefully unguarded as she smiled at the dark arena.

*Gouken slowly walks forward from the shadows covering one side of the arena, the crisp cool night air revealing his every breath. The black bandage across his eyes crumples as he frowns slightly. He unfolds his arms from across his chest and brings the to the air in front of his stomach, placing them together and centering himself. The technique made him impervious to any kind of pain that would be caused by the fight, so he could spar more effectively.*
"I'm right here, Mai."

The vampiress grinned, her fangs glistening in what little light there was. She rested the tip of her weapon on the ground as she watched Gouken come to a stop in front of her. The girl shifted her weight gently, leaning a bit to her right.
"Aaah, Gouken. Ready now?"

*Gouken adjusted his wrist bracers accordingly, allowing the right amount of tightness so they wouldn't slide and expose parts of his arms. They clanked as he brought both his hands behind his back and stood perfectly still, tilting his head down to gaze eyelessly at Mai's face.*
"I am now. You may make the first move, if you wish."

Mai mimicked Gouken, her grey eyes twinkling brightly as she spoke. Her whisper reached the far ends of the arena.
"If you wish..."
The girl muttered a few words and her smile grew as a small ball of light grew in her palm. She tossed it up into the air a few times. As she tossed it a third time, she smacked it with the flat of her blade as it came down. The small ball exploded with loud bang. Small sparks flew everywhere as the popping and banging sounds continued. She rushed past Gouken quickly, silently bringing up her blade as she ducked.
