Jay stifled a yawn as he bent to retrieve his glasses, he put them in their case and set the case on the same table he had set Raven's food on. Yawning yet again he took his hair out of it's ponytail and braided it into a side braid, tying it off with a black ribbon he had been using as a hair tie.
"well let's turn in, we can chat if you like" Jay said softly, smiling at Raven as he gently took her hand. Whether it was the fact she was carrying his child or the fact they were living together, Jay had grown to care quite a bit for Raven.

Raven nodded. "If baby will let me sleep." She smiled when he took her hand and they went to her room. One of the twins kicked a little much in one place and her free hand was massaging the area gently.

Jay undressed, slipping into his usual bedroom attire of a pair of light gray sweatpants. He yawned again having been up for nearly 30 hours straight and crawled onto the bed, lying ontop of the covers.
Merethist had taken to sleeping in Raven's room, and he was currently curled up in the drawer-bed he had made months before. A scent of cherryblossoms drifted softly throughout the room as Merethist's cheek tattoo glowed dully.

Raven had changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, finding it be comfortable enough to sleep in before sitting on the bed. She even snuggled with him, smiling while rubbing her tummy.
"Think we should find out what the gender is?" she asked.

Jay smiled as Raven snuggled to him, he ran a hand soothingly through her hair and the other lay over her tummy, feeling the babies moving.
He chuckled at Raven's question and shook his head, the best part of pregnancy was the surprise of the gender and knowing you were carrying a life inside. At least, that's what his mother had told him when he had asked about it.
"no, we should let it be a surprise" he answered softly, relaxing even more as he smelt Merethist's cherryblossom scent drifting through the room. Cherryblossom's and Lavender always calmed him.

"Okay," she said softly, feeling the babies move inside. The little girl proceeded to try and cuddle with her brother while her brother was busy repositioning himself, having his head down and his butt up.
"What would we name the baby? It be good to have at least a name picked out." She enhaled the sweet scent, completely relaxed with it.

Jay smiled as he felt Raven relax a little, he was surprised that he was so comfortable lying in the same bed with Raven.
"I like Joshua, if it's a boy" he commented ,his eyes drifting shut as he relaxed completely with one hand still resting gently on Raven's tummy and the other toying with a lock of her hair.

"What about Alexis if it's a girl?" She was comfortable because it was her family that she was cuddled with.

"that's a pretty name" Jay agreed softly, tiredly. He was very comfortable and his mind had no troubling thoughts, so his Insomnia wasn't about to bother him tonight.
"when is Asher home? it's getting late" Jay asked softly, snuggling down into the pillow and now lay under the covers.

"He never gave me a time...Though for once it'd be nice to have him home to snuggle with." She grinned but it didn't last as the babies settled down enough that Raven could sleep. "Maybe we should tie him down tommorrow night?"

"yeah, and keep him there for a few days" Jay agreed in a mumble and fell straight into sleep. He protectively lay an arm around Raven's waist and the other arm stilled at her head.

She nodded but also drifted to sleep, snuggled close to him.
Asher would have come home late that night, or early that morning, dreading the fact his family was waiting. He was beginning to despise the circus and the people there.

Jay awoke a couple of times in the night, but immediately fell back to sleep. Merethist had woken hours before and now sat infront of the window with a blanket wrapped around him, looking out for Asher.

Asher finally came home, pulling up as quietly as he could. He had been talking to Jean-Claude about taking some time away from work so he could spend it with his family, rather then worry about comming home injured.

Merethist purred sleepily when he saw Asher pull up and dashing to the door --which he had been able to open for days now-- opened it and rushed out.
"Sher!papa!" he cooed softly, flinging himself softly at the vampire.
