Cerri nodded wordlessly, placing a hand over his. Then, without warning, she turned and wrapped her arms around Guan, weeping into his shoulder as she clung to him. She'd needed to cry for days now, and she couldn't hold it back any longer.

Ukaia came out of the woods. And then blinked stopping short. She quickly hid behind a tree.. and carefully moved further back. She wasn't going to interupt them in this moment.
She sat down her eyes shut and waited.

Guan carefully placed his arms around Cerri and hugged her reassuringly. He glanced over to where Ukaia came out but didn't say anything, instead letting Cerri have a quiet shoulder to cry on.

Cerri cried for some time, but at last, she managed to gather herself. "Sorry." she whispered, words muffled by his shirt. "I don't know what came over me." Carefully, she drew back, trying to smile as she wiped her eye. "Won't happen again." Unaware of Ukaia's presence, she squared her shoulders, trying to revert back to her normal behavior. "How is she doing with her training, my daughter? She was so excited."

"You're too young for all of this," Guan said softly. "If you need anything I'm here. Ukaia is doing well, even though we haven't been training for long."

"I feel old as dirt. I have since..." Cerri paused and closed her eye, shaking her head. "That's good." she told him, remembering that she'd wanted to change the subject. "I want her to feel useful and strong..." she gave a half smile, then darted forward to kiss Guan's cheek. "Thank you." she whispered.

Guan smiled and blushed just slightly despite himself. "You're welcome. And you're both stronger than you give yourselves credit."

Ukaia came back and peeked around a tree. Good no more crying. She thens troed closer and smiled
":hey Mom" she said
"What are you doing out here?" she asked brightly pretending she'd never seen cerri crying.

"You're the teacher, so you must be right." Cerri teased, smiling a bit more genuinely. "And you're blushing." she added with a laugh, poking his cheek. "Careful, or you'll be as bad as Arlen that way. Hey Uka." she added, smiling and waving.

"Hell o tacher" she said sweetly. Her meschevious face ment she'd definaly heard her mom mention his blush and his confession of not being kissed.

Cerri stuck her tongue out at Ukaia, knowing far too well what that look on her face meant. "Quiet, impudent child." she teased, smiling warmly, then reaching out to squeeze Guan's shoulder quickly. "I guess I should leave you two alone, hm?"

"Please stay" she said brightly to her mom.
"I would.. really value your opnion on how well you think i do?" she asked her her tail flicking brightly

"Well... I can stay for a bit." Cerri agreed with a smile, then grinned impishly and leaned forward, kissing Guan full on the lips. "That's for being so sweet." she teased, then winked before heading over where she'd be out of the way, and sinking to the ground, ready to watch and observe.
