Baizou glanced down at her and couldn't help but smile. He bent down to kiss her softly on the head and slinked his tail around her waist, "Love you." He murmured before getting to work on the arm.

River made the most descusted looking face as she continued to read."how do woman human take that!"She said flipping the page agian gasping at the next few sentences."They, They, Give birth in a white room!? That's sin!"

She was so intranced in the book she gaped and made funny noises at diffrent things."..Can't they just Extract the baby?! I meen, How do people..."She closed the book and sighed opening it again reading more."How do people let others look at that!?" She covered her face and the book.

Ukaia came downstaris and rubbed her ear a bit. Dressed in a heavy green sweater and a pair of form fitting elf made pants
"What are you talking about?" she asked with a yawn as she caugt the tail end of River's words to. nobody.. apperenly. She made her way behind the bar

Ukaia sighed realizing she must have fallen asleep. She went behind the bar and got herself some cream to drink then sat down infront of the fire
"What's wrong with you vincent.. " she whispered quietly holding the cup of cream in her hands.
"Are you hurt? i can't find anything wrong with you.. even lilly when she brushed you said nothing was wrong.. so why do you have to sleep for days on end " she murmmued to herself and the fire.. Watching the bright flames dance. she felt warm tears well up in her eyes then slide down her face. It was odd how alone she felt tonight

Vincent was, at that moment, struggling to wake. He'd been more exhausted then he realized, expended nearly all of his magic to move the shop and deal with Xaldin's cronies. Yawning widely, he ran one hand through his hair and wandered downstairs, looking better than he had since his arrival.

Ukaia hearing somone come down quickly wiped off her face. Her ears stil lowered as she watched the fire. She sighed quietly as she sipped her cream once more. Curled up in the cornor of the couch. She didn't look up to see who it was

Vince, sensing Ukaia, became as quiet as a panther as he went to the couch she was on on, smiling. Silently, he approached, then leaned over the back of the couch, blowing softly on one ear before he spoke in a whisper. "Hello sweet. Miss me?"

Ukaia's ears flicked in a puzzled way hearing the footsteps stop. She was about to look up and find out what happened when she felt the cool air in her ear. Her fur stood on end as she shivered then she blinked and looked up
"You're awake!!" she said then dropped the milk and quickly poucned him hugging him tightly and nuzzling him with a happy purr. She didn't care that that ment she was half hanging on the couch and half onhim

Vince laughed and pulled her the rest of the way off the couch, cradling the neko in his arms. "Yes sweet, I'm awake, and I'll be awake more often from now on." An almost sheepish expression crossed his face, and a light blush rose in his cheeks. "I overdid it a little..." he admitted, seeming pained by doing so. "I didn't mean to worry you, or leave you alone..."

Ukaia relaxied a bit nuzzling up aginst him
"I was worried. I know nothing was wrong with you, But you woudln't wake up" she said to him and nuzzled her mouth aginst his throat a bit
"I'm glad you're ok" she said to him. Then she leaned back a bit and looked him over critically
"you need food and drink" she said then kissed him on the mouth and squirmed free and scampered to the bar
"What do you want, and no telling me you're not hungry!" she said pointing her finger at him

Vince laughed and shook his head, then strode over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her close to him. "I'm very hungry." he murmured, kissing softly, almost teasingly on the mouth. Then he lowered his head to her neck and bit down gently before pulling away. "Maybe some fish?"

Ukaai blushes as he teased her mouth. THen shivered and sighed in pleasure as he bit on her neck. Shevery nearly pouted at him for stoping then nodded
"Fish tay.. " seh said though she nuzzled him again contentedly.
"Please try not to do so much again.. i really was worried sick. " she said quietly to him kissing his lips soflty

"It's ok" she said to him looking up into his eyes and smiling a little bit.
"You do so much anyway.. I know you need rest and have things you have to go do sometimes" she said to him. Her fingers trailed slowly along his lips thenover his throat.. her eyes watchign as his skin slid under her finger tips
"You don't need to try harder.. it's. enough to know that you care" she said soflty to him. She lifted her head looking up at him once more, jsut releived he was awake and moving on his own again.
"I should get your fish started" she murmmued soflty. Uakai didn't want to ask him to try harder to show affection. she wasn't used to it anyway.. and she didn't want to sound selfish.. or needy. Despite her desire to do both those things.
