"We do not condone any type of negativity or superiority complex, bullying included," Norman replied as light-heartedly as possible. He was fully aware of Nash's situation. "Those who are here are the people who are going to shape the world. The type who pick on others or are without mercy are not the type who would be admitted." The two passed a few buildings, heading towards one in particular. "Granted, each youth here will undergo the standard change of hormones," he gave a brief and knowing smile, "and some will still like to cause trouble. I know which ones they are, and they're relatively harmless if you aren't the type to be riled by mere instigation." The Headmaster glanced down to the youth, adding, "I've only read your file, and so I cannot say for certain, but I feel that you are not that type, Nash."
Another kind smile lit his face. He didn't mind the questions, or being tried for them, as his claims were bold and his views were wide. "If you have any concerns or issues with any of the students here, you can come to me directly if you'd like. I know each of them by name and have no qualms against speaking with them if an issue should arise."

Giving an inadvertent sigh as he found himself at the entrance of the school’s sprawling grounds, Lorioth slowly set his emerald eyes to search for any sign of the incoming new students that they had recently accepted into the establishment, as he had been directed to do so. His instructions had been simple enough…greet them, welcome them, and maybe show them the way to the dorms, but socializing of any sort was always easier said than done in the doctor’s case.
There—that was a new student, wasn’t it? Judging from the application that he had reviewed a few days ago, the youth fit the description of one of the twins. Well, there went the excuse that he couldn’t welcome anybody because he didn’t see anyone to welcome. The teacher slowly made his way over the boy’s side, and his eyebrows knit into an expression of concern as he noticed that the student looked sick to the stomach. It looked like the result of motion sickness to his trained eyes.
“A-are you okay?” the doctor addressed him in a gentle voice. One of his hands drew out a pouch from his pocket, and he offered it to the twin. Lorioth wasn't one to shirk his responsibilities as a doctor, and he had gotten accustomed to carrying around various remedies wherever he went. “Ginger. It’s good for relieving seasickness, and you look like you could do with some at the moment.”

Nash nodded a smile soft on his face as they continued their walk. He understood the occasional troublemaker, and that he could more or less handle. It was often the bigger sharks that brought his hackles up. He didn't know how to fend for himself, not quite yet. But he vowed, in his mind to learn just those things while attending here.
At the mention of hormones, Nash blushed slightly, he wasn't ignorant of those things just very shy about it. He nodded rather then speak, deciding the Headmaster didn't need to know how vivid a mind he had. The fact that there were some students that would cause a mild uproar set Nash to thinking but until incidents occured, he wouldn't jump the gun. Hopefully he could make a good first impression and wouldn't have to worry. As the Headmaster spoke about his file, Nash began to slow in his steps but as the man continued his steps returned strong in stride as he looked up with hopeful violet eyes. "I will try not to be a bother." He muttered, but despite what his background pertained to, he was a young boy, fresh and new, and wet behind the ear. Curiousity was his biggest vice, it got him in trouble a lot more than not.
He only hoped it wouldn't be as much of a problem here as at home. Turning his eyes to the Headmaster again he ventured another question. "Will I be rooming alone?"

The salty wind whipped through Nikolai’s fine purple hair as he watched the island come towering into view on the small deck of the boat. While the strange rocking of the boat didn’t always sit well in his stomach, it couldn’t erase the smile from his enthralled face. Everything was new, from the boat to the sea to this opportunity. Life would be different, maybe not any easier, but it would be enjoyed now.
And he was glad he could start it anew with his brother. Speaking of his brother, Niki hoped Sasha was pulling through alright. His brother never did too well without him - images of Sashi falling overboard went through his mind more than a few times. Once the ferry had stopped and the crew aided him off, he thanked them kindly, happy to put his English to good use finally. He picked up a duffle bag and watched another boat unload beside him.
Nikolai wondered who he could ask about his brother’s whereabouts. Hefting his luggage across his shoulders, he followed a gaggle of students heading towards his new school. His whole body sung with anticipation and slight fear. The young boy had no idea what to expect, but he would be with Alexander and the two of them always managed through thick and thin. This time, however, they wouldn’t have to manage alone; he watched adults catering to a child, guiding them or even disciplining them, but the point was they were active in their life. That was refreshing.

Meeting the new children was always a nice thing to do, and it was always fun as well. At least that was what Irame thought. It seemed to her that more and more the children that were coming to Shinkami were near fleeing pasts and running to a safe haven. It was for many people, obviously a hope and wish, but for many of the children it was a place where they had safety, security, and even kindness for the first time in a long while.
She had been smiling and greeting people for a little bit, but stopped when she saw a child with dark purple hair. She hadn’t been aware that purple was a naturally occurring hair color, but admittedly she didn’t know all that much about humans hair color, just what she had seen. Well regardless she stopped and bowed her head to him and smiled.
“Hello, penneth, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Irame Amianoesse.”

Norman smiled down at Nash's words, starting to correct him but stopping as the boy continued to speak, listening as they walked. It was disheartening that the youth would think himself a bother at all, but such things could be deeply believed when in his situation. At the question, he answered, "If you choose. We have many boys who prefer solitude, and just as many that like the company, be it for studying or just someone to talk to." He motioned to one of the larger buildings, turning his precise steps towards it.
"Here we are. Now," he continued on, holding the door open, "you are not bound to one room. If you want to have one to yourself and later decide you'd prefer company, you are free to move around or invite others. As you advance in your courses, you will generally board by yourself so that you may take full advantage of our facilities without distraction. There are designated areas at that point in which you and your friends can meet up." Norman smiled again, awaiting further questions and curiosities.

Nash smiled glad that there were some choice for him. He didn't know what he wanted right off the cuff. On one hand he'd be a burden to his roommate with his constant mood swings (fyi: he doesn't know he has bipolar disorder). And on the other hand he didn't like being left alone too often, it reminded him too much of his father's abandonment.
"I would prefer to have a roommate actually but whatever the school decides is fine with me." Nash offered as he stepped past the Headmaster. He looked around with curious violet eyes his mind moving a hundred miles a minute. His pace slowing only when he didn't find the Headmaster at his side right away, when the man got back in step with him, Nash looked up with a smile that was bright and cheerful but his eyes portrayed a frightened young boy.

The older man nodded, continuing at a leisurely gait through the new student dorm area. He smiled and nodded to those who greeted him, although his attention was still upon the youth at his side. "Then I'll take you to the dorm where the 'hopefuls' are, so to speak. Those who would like to board with another but perhaps haven't found one yet." Norman lead the way through the first of the buildings, pausing on the path to the second to point to another, slightly larger than each of the dorms.
"That is my office," he said easily, "and you can almost always find me there if you have any concerns. Beyond that is the mall, and up there--" he pointed northeast of his designated office, closest to the dorm to which they were travelling, "--is the administrative office. My most trusted advisors are there, and you can go to them on the off chance that I'm not in my office. You'll want to know that building regardless, as it's where you will receive your badge."
He smiled once again, adjusting his monocle in habit before leading on through the second building. It was the eastern most dorm that they were heading to, and it didn't hurt to let Nash see the other students and dorm rooms on the way.

There was so much to see that Nash fell into a somber silence as his wide violet eyes took it all in. He listened to what the Headmaster had to say but his attention was focused on his surroundings. He took note of the the Headmaster's office, the administrative offices and beyond that where the mall would surely be a place of salvation for him. As they continued their walk some students were wondering about, most curious as to his presence; wondering who he was. He gave a shy smile to some and grimmaced at others that seemed a little less friendly then he liked.
Quickly he fell in step with the Headmaster once his attention returned to the situation at hand. He looked up to the other a furrow to his brow. Rather confused he turned his gaze away an obvious apprehension washing over him. Was this really the right thing to do? Somehow he missed the comfort of the man who'd come to retrieve him from his home. Wondering where he was now he couldn't help but curse his luck that he'd never asked the man's name.

The two arrived at the third dorm without incident. Norman indicated a hallway on the right, stating, "This is were most of the dorms are for people who would like a room mate." With a sweep of his hand, he motioned to the left side. "If you'd prefer solitude, any door on this side without a name plate is open. Please just let us know if you move, so we know where to find you." He was going to add that it was a good idea in case mail came, but the Headmaster had a feeling Nash would not be concerned about receiving any.

Nash smiled politely his indigo eyes sweeping across the floor at Headmaster's indication. He didn't know which room he would prefer but knew years of being confined to a room with no outside life save for his mother was all he could stand. Having a roommate would possibly be a change of pace.
He followed the man to one of the rooms that was stocked for two people and entered. There was no roommate at this time but he didn't mind it so much. Gave him time to unpack (what little he had) and adjust to the new life here at Shinkami. Turning to the headmaster he couldn't help but bow in a polite manner. "Thank you so much for having me here." He breathed eyes filling with greatful tears but he managed to stave them off. "I'll do my best to help where I can." He offered, a bright smile on his lips but the solemn expression in his eyes would take a while to extract. In time he would adjust.
