(((Yaaaah, Rekka your so hopeless! The door's unlocked, but it won't open all the way because ithe shock knocked it off it's bottom hinge!)))
Kayako looked over her shoulder, then shook her head.
"No good....we need something to force it open with...like a pry-bar! See if you can find a long peice of strong metal!"
She turned back and continued cutting. She almost had most of the binds off Gray's left side, but it didn't help much. The boy was still in a half-concious state, and made no move to even acknowledge her presence or try to help his escape. Kayako was growing concerned; she was afraid there might be something really wrong with him.

((... OOH!!!! That's what you meant!! Must've zoned out when I read that part. I've been doing that a lot, lately.. oO` Sorry!! ^__^'' Just get her really pissed. She'll rip that door right off. razz )
Rain threw the key behind her, which made a clinking sound. She got on the floor and checked under the desk. After that search being rendered unsuccessful, she searched the room again.
With her head looking one way and her hand reaching another as she crawled, the hand hit something. The loud clanging sound. Looking towards it, she saw a long shape with a curve at the end. This'll work, she decided. Pinking it up, she limped back to the door. She began to worry the crow-bar under the door, then pushed down on it.

((you guys need to watch "macgyvver" more. With all the junk laying about, you could build a small cannon. xd ))
Gray was distracted, focused on a distant sound echoing in his head; a old freind beconed...
But, someone was....
WHAT?!
"Kay...Kayako!?..."
Gray's blinked, suddenly lucid and staring at Kayako; for the first time in real life, as opposed to another vision. The gloss drained from Gray's eyes at the sight and vioce of a familiar person....
Inintentionaly, Gray jerked upon his abrupt return to reality, and the remaining restriants snapped. In burst of motion, Gray was on his feet.
However, this little move left him lightheaded....
"Whoa...! Nng....g... My head..."
Gray staggered drunkenly, then steaded himself agiast a wall, drawing a deep breath before attempting to stand agian.
"...Nn....kayako, What happened? My head...feels...clouded..."

((Argh!! What was I thinking!! I could've gone McGyver on all you biatches. xd ))
Rain looked up from her teadious task. "He's awake..." she whispered to herself momentarily. She looked back to her job and concentrated on it. She stood up and put all her weight on the crow-bar. Slowly but surely, the door lifted off the ground. "Someone push it open before I loose it!" she yelled for help, struggling to keep it up.

"Hm? Oh right, GOT IT!!"
Kayako stood up and kicked the door with all her might, causing it to fly open while Rain held it off the ground.
That task done, she turned back to Gray and helped him up as much as she could.
"There's no time! Who knows how long this room's gonna hold up....we need to find the hangar and our LFO's! Gray....can you pick up the signals from here??"

Rain just stood there. She wanted to speak up, but couldn't find the willpower. Trying to muster up her courage, she asked in a quiet, "What about... me?" She held her head down, staring at the floor.
She didn't want to stay here anymore. She wanted out of this hell hole and this was her perfect oppurtunity. She had finally made a friend, although she did not conciously realize this yet, and she didn't want to lose the friendship.

Kayako looked over at Rain and smiled.
"Well what do you think? Your coming with us, aren't you?? I'm sure Senturi wouldn't mind you riding with me!"
She propped the staggering Gray up on her shoulder and led him out of the containment cell. Now, if they could find out where the military was keeping Senturi and Mercury, they could manage to escape in the chaos of the sudden earthquakes.

((Psh, dinner. Who's needs it? razz But only ONE MINUTE!! Ok, kidding. razz ))
Rain looked up, her eyes almost bright. There was the most miniscule curve to her lips, the unnoticible evidence of her gratitude.
Seeing that Kayako was having slight trouble with Gray, she went ahead of them to clear the way for her to move forward with no trouble. She looked at the gun in her hand. I hope to someone that I won't have to use this.
She had noticed that the sounds of bullet against the door had stopped awhile ago. She only passed it off as them waiting to them. She cautiously opened the door. Peeking around it, she saw no one there. Looking from the empty hall to Kayako, she passed through the door, holding it open for the two.
((And the three experiments begin their first adventure. Ya know... we need a name. Like.. how a group of superheroes or political leaders have. Umm... Triumverant? razz Like Caeser, Pompey, and... that other guy? razz *gasp* Superfriends!! biggrin ))

Kayako dragged Gray with her out the door to follow Rain. Seeing no sign of the gunmen from before, she figured it was safe to venture out.
Annoyed a bit, he shook Gray's shoulder a little.
"Hey! Wake up, you! We need directions or we're never gonna get there!"

Gray shook his head, trying to clear it. mercury; he'd need to locate...
Decard had said his LFO was somewhere in the facility...
Gray steaded his legs and stablized his ability to walk. First things first, Find Mercury, then Hunt Xellien. Yes... that was it.
The spark of battle began to glow wickedly in Gray's eyes, along with the red "X" that signified the Inverse drive's functioning.
Gray's expression rapidly darkened from confused to semi-demonic, shadows from his hair masking his eyes as a smirk spread across his face.
"Kayako...I'm fine. I'll Lock onto Mercury; I think it's nearby...."
yes, yes... Seek the enemies, kill them ALL!
Whispered a dark vioce in Gray's mind. For once, he agreed; Xellien had to Die, and now that he had the oportunity....
No. Don't...not yet...we...need him, alive...
Again, Logic restrianed him from total madness, but it was an uneasy calm, to be sure. Closing his eyes, Gray mentally called to Mercury, seeking the connection he'd had a moment before...
"....Where are you...."

((Dude, I'm so giving our little threesome a name. We totally need one and you guys know it. razz I'll be thinking of.))
Rain led the triad on through the corridors, limping along as she checked ahead of them for any danger. "Gray..." she said. "I need to know where we're going. Other than that, we'll be wandering around forever."
She decided to take them back the way she and Kayako came from her room. She had one main reason for this: to get her guitar. It was the only enjoyable thing in this hell hole and she was not going to leave without it. Besides that, it would be better for her to discern where they were to head next from there.

Kayako followed Rain back through the criss-crossing hallways, always keeping a close watch on Gray. This was the first time they'd met in person, but she already knew so much about him....and she knew he sometimes needed a little boost to keep him sane.

((Yay!! My favorite E7 ending just played on me puter!!! ^___^ The first one. Ooh!! Now it's the Who's Boris the Spider. Squee!! ^____^ Haha, I like your name, but we need something more catchy than that. razz ))
Rain began to recognize where they were. It was the hallway of her room. Upon reaching the door, she turned to Kayako and Gray. "You two wait here," she said. "I'll be very quick."
She opened the door and walked in. The room had been cleared of injured bodies by now, yet people were still cleaning up the blood. All of the kids stared at her in fear, but she just gave them her same stone-faced expression. She reached her bed, took her guitar, and left without any trouble. She gave them one last look and waved goodbye to Aiken. He was most likely the closest thing to a friend she might have had. She closed the door without any qualms of leaving. "Let's go," she said to the two.

Kayako nodded, and walked off after her, turning for a moment to make sure Gray was behind them.
They were still waiting for him to start giving directions, but he seemed reluctant. Meaning that he was either lost in thought, or his mind was dancing inside some odd vision of pain and torture.

KILL ALL ENEMIES!
Gray's hand shot to his forehead as a vioce like gravel screamed for battle in his head. A puprle corona flared under his shirt.
"-ugh...nngg! Dangit, SHUT UP! I...we... ....need, need to get outisde, I'm sensing it to the west, across a feild..." Gray finished, overiding the desire to idulde in mindless destruction. No, he wouldn't, not now. He was...who he chose...to become...and no other!
Turning, he half-dashed down the alarm light-lit hallway, following the feeling of mercury; a signal of sorts.
