Deckland's face turned to disappointment. He was disappointed in himself for obviously hurting this girl. "Oh, I'm sorry...I was just saying that 'cause I thought your wings were kind of pretty..." Deckland was technically cut off by the girl with color chaning hair dragging the winged girl away. He was left alone with the others. "I'm sorry, I believe I have forgotten to introduce myself. I'm Deckland Gregory. The last name isn't really my last name because my parents made it up when they tried to live human lives to raise me because..." Deckland realised he was rambling. "Sorry, er, I tend to ramble when I'm nervous...heh." Deckland's eyes grew bigger and he rolled them, thinking of how pathetic he must look right this moment.

Kyle took note of the blush and several questions for Alastair formed within his mind, but he shut it into his subconscious and smiled. "I've seen several people go to a certain office for their paperwork and registry, but I haven't exactly gone there myself yet. Too busy taking in the new environment, you know?" His eyes sparkled the smallest bit when he mentioned the environment.

"Cool, maybe we should all go check it out? You know, see what to do and where to go?" Alastair offered the the other two in their little group. He smiled to Kyle as they turned to walk toward the building. "So your a half-angel? What does that exactly mean, half-angel? I mean, like, what can you do that's different than what full-angel's can do?" Alastair asked curiously. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to pry. I'm just...fascinated and curious. I mean, I don't mean to treat you like a piece of meat or something. I just...nevermind. Just forget I asked." Alastair looked down at his feet as they slowly walked toward the building.

Sophia shook her head with a frown. "No, no, no. Don't worry so much, silly. Not all demons are bad. Only a few and I promise as long as we're friends I will protect you from them as much as I can. Calm it, chica. Trust me. I am not 'evil'." She said with a smile. "And, I think that guy was complimenting you. According to stories Angels are extremely beautiful creatures. So by comparing you to one he was calling you beautiful. He's kinda flirting with you!" She said excitedly. "Oh my god! He was kinda flirting with you! This is amazing! You have to go back over there and talk with him!" She exclaimed with a grin.

She was comforted a little when Sophia told her that all demons weren't bad. That cleared some things up. She felt a little more comfortable now, she at least didn't have to worry about an attack at the moment. She felt guilty when Sophia called her a friend. She hadn't even awarded Anton the actual title in her mind. She'd decided he would be her friend, but she hadn't actually considered any of these people friends yet. A smile touched her face, she was a little bit happy that the woman called her a friend. Everything she said seemed to make sense, at least as of yet. She could certainly accept her explanations of things, and put her on the list of people she'd like to be friends with. When she said the next thing, Rae's thoughts came screeching to a halt. A compliment? Well that was true... If he really couldn't tell that her wings were not natural, then he probably didn't understand the pain... Her headache pounded slightly at the thought of pain, and she forced herself to think around it.
Flirting? She'd heard of it, humans did it when they were talking to people that they liked, and usually when they wanted to... Well... Mate. But it had never happened to her. Still, Sophia seemed pretty excited about it, so she figured it couldn't hurt to see whether it was true, or... If it was interesting in the least. "Um... Okay. Thank you. I'll try talking to him, then..." She walked back to the group, eyes lowered sheepishly, a little embarrassed for her little outburst. "Sorry about that... I have a headache, it um... Makes it hard to process things." Not that it was a true or proper explanation, it would probably satisfy them enough. Looking at the black-winged boy, she tried ineffectually to smile. "Um, I'm Rae. I'm not an angel, I'm... Well... I'm an experiment. I guess. Thank you for the compliment. Your wings are beautiful." Well... She hoped that would work. Her wings flexed nervously, worried about the damage she might have caused to her reputation with these people.

Anton remained quiet with his usual face. She didn't understand his gestures, and apparently, nor did she need to. Everything was going to be fine. Or not. She was starting to make up with Deckland. A small tinge of fear went down Anton's spine. Would she leave him so soon? Would he be alone again? Then again, what would happen, would simply happen. As much as he wanted to stay with her, it might be better she found friends that did not include him. He spoke aloud, but mostly to himself, "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine."

Sophia grinned, her new friend was adorable! She walked back over to the group, standing a little closer to Devante this time so she could chat with him. "Isn't she adorable? They grow up so fast!" She said mocking the sadness of a mother sending her child off on their first day of school. "I'm so proud of her. Look at her trying to flirt! It's so cute. Doncha think?" She asked looking up at him before turning her gaze to Anton. 'Oh, no. Something seems wrong with him too. This is a lot harder than I thought it'd be. Damn me and my social butterfly-ness.' She thought with a frown that she quickly turned into a smile. She motioned for Anton to come and join her and Devante. "Come here and talk with us! Don't just stand over there all alone, silly!"

She watched in dismay as Sophia chose the other side of their little gathering to speak more with Devante. She had hoped the girl would stay close, to absorb some of the attention that Rae was sure to attract. But... That was okay. She was a big girl now, wasn't she? Well... Not really. But figuratively, she should try to take responsibility. She really did like his wings. They were black and gave off a little sheen unlike hers. Probably because they were magical or something. Due to the whole half demon half angel thing. She wasn't sure what else to say, other than she wished she had wings like his. Would that sound strange? Probably. Then she heard Anton, and smiled. She wasn't sure how he knew exactly what she needed to hear, but it made her feel better, and the throbbing of her migraine eased a little. She looked up at him to show him she was smiling, just so that he knew that she still liked him just as much, despite her freak out. "I sure hope so." She spoke in a low voice, hoping that the others wouldn't hear her.
Sophia was calling him over, and the cold wash of nervousness flowed over Rae again, knowing that they would be over there, and she would be here, standing the closest to this boy with perfect wings. It was then that she noticed a girl standing nearby. It seemed that the others hadn't taken much notice of her just yet, but she was the blonde, with the green eyes. She had clovers on the backs of her hands, which were kind of cute. Rae wasn't sure whether she should say hello or what. It wasn't really her style to greet people, so she just waved slightly, hoping that Sophia would notice her, and be the one to speak first. Turning her head back to the half-demon boy, she realized that she didn't know his name yet. "Sorry... I missed your name. I really do like your wings. They're pretty, and the right size, and everything they should be. I wish I had some like that." Well... Maybe she shouldn't have opened her mouth after all. But what was said was said.

Togiretogire was pleased. He had a good ear, he was an animal after all. Even if his cousin reptiles didn't have good hearing, Dragons did. Well it was not super hearing of course but far better then a human he would think. Well there was quite a big amount of races around this place. Well what he had picked up about the others was a man named Kyle who was an half angel. Then he probably wouldn't be a problem about his own identity. There was a demon among them and a girl with wings that seemed quite interesting. They where alike in a way but still far away form each other. She had gotten wings and he, well he had become something without wings.
Well after a lot of looking around and listening it was time to get going and so Togiretogire moved on from the entrance and walked into the campus of the University. His eyes was like a security camera in movement, trying to take as much information in as possible. He never knew when he could be able to need it.

"I think we all are new here. Freshmen." Anton replied simply. Clover had been standing there the whole time while he paid attention to Rae only. It was unintentionally cruel, he believed, but there was nothing he could do about it. Except not do it again. Still, it felt unpleasant inside, knowing he ignored her. These feelings had names, but Dirk said he wouldn't learn them from him. Dirk said to go look at a dictionary, but changed his mind. If this 'dictionary' could tell him what he was feeling, maybe he would have more to say. Then again, that was the very reason why he didn't allow Anton near books. Books. Did Rae read books? No. He wouldn't ask yet. She was talking to Deckland. Anton felt some more feelings inside him, but again, did not have the words to address them. If he could compare it to a taste, he would compare it to the potions Dirk forced him to take. Bitter.

"Sure, I'll go with you. I haven't registered either," Victor said. This Naiya was a very cheery person, he pointed out to himself as she laughed and pulled the pins out of her hair when the wind picked up. Maybe they could be friends, because Victor didn't like the thought of starting out at this school alone. Alastair seemed to have gone off with some other people.

"Ah, Freshmen? Really?" Clover asked, blinking quickly at the group of people who looked older than she did. Maybe it was an elf thing? Clover still didn't quite believe that she was an elf, but that's what mother had told her all her life. Still, this wasn't the time to be thinking about that. Clover felt herself becoming more bouncy, more alive. It always happened when she was around emotional people. It simply made her feel more alive.
Clover's eyes bounced from person to person as she took to rocking back and forth on her heels. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's explore the University!" The childish smile on her face only accented her small size and the freckles to make her truly look like a kid among adults.

Naiya couldn't help but be curious, th question eating at her. She knew it was a stupid question, but the rumors! I-I know dis is a stupid question, but, doesn't hurt to be in da sun like dat? Sorry, da rumors and things like dat..." She giggled and blushed a light color. Ok, dat was stupid question...I'm so stupid! She put her backpack over one shoulder, and smiled warmly. She smiled way too much. She had probably smiled about ten times since she go there.
