Zuki pushed open the door to the lab. It was darker than usual, for the only light that emanted from the place was at Elm's desk. "Professor!" Zuki exclaimed as he saw his head on the desk. "WHA-?!?! Oh, it's you Zuki."
"Professor you need to quit putting in so long of hours."
"Maybe. If its not the sleep that will kill me its my WIFE!" he yelped as a cold shiver entered his spine. He turned as Duskull looked up at him from poking him in his back. "Duskull. What a magnificent pokemon. Its rare to get them here in New Bark Town."
He opened up a drawer and pulled out a slip. He scribbled a number. "Here is my PokeNav number. Call it rather than the lab. Tell me everything that goes on your trip." He said as he gave him 3 disks. "Those are Shadow Ball, Ice Beam and Cut, which should help you."
"Thanks professor." Zuki yelled as he ran out the door, being quickly followed by Grim.
(((what he gave me I had in my inventory....I had to get them from somewhere, ya?)))

((Well not necessarily. Hm that doesn't look like it was spelt quite right. Arg. I can't remember the names of the other two guys.))
"Well Searcy is an idiot." Said Seth. "Now you face me and Pinsir!" He sent out the gray bug. It flexed it's horns meancingly. "Sit this one out and recover Sun." Mag announced as he released Tsunami to battle.
"Start up with Quick Attack and then hit it with Water Gun!" Mag ordered. "Okay Pinsir use Swords Dance and when it is close enough to hit use Vicegrip!" The bug quickly did a strange motion as a white light shone around it for a moment to signal the increased attack. Then it was smashed by a blue blur that quickly retreated and shot off a stream of water towards the bug.
It dodged to the side and charged foreward clamping onto the Vaporeon and flinging it away. "Now seismic toss!" Seth shouted. The Pinsir blasted foreward to attack. "Quick Attack to get a away and hit it with a Water Gun again." Mag commanded.
The Vaporeon jumped away in a flash and the bug was knocked away by the water.

"Yeah, can't wait for that," Flannery grinned at him. It was almost as if she could read what he was thinking. She lowered her eyes and watched the egg, hoping it would move. After a moment of awkward silence, she promplty changed the subject. "This is probably a little redundant to ask," she chuckled, "but have you picked out a name for him yet?"

"Water...?" Jaeshan asked, looking a little uncomfortable as Ryka leaned across him to pat Mightyena, who sniffed her hand at first, looking tentative, but soon relaxed, closing his eyes and enjoying the attention. "Wow, he must really like you," Jaeshan commented, also relaxing slightly. "He's not usually one to let people touch him. Well, other than me." He laughed loudly, but quickly stopped when he realized several people were looking at him.

After walking for a little while, Keegan soon found himself in front of the bike repair shop. A row of gleaming, brand new bicycles stood outside, waiting to be bought. Just the sight of them was almost enough to send Keegan over the edge and into another bout of anger. Grinding his teeth together and taking several deep breaths, he restrained himself and stepped inside, unstrapping the damaged Acro Bike as he looked around. The shop was empty, save for a lone man sitting behind a desk, bike parts strewn about in every direction. It seemed the man didn't even see him come in.
"Um, excuse me, sir-!!" Keegan's greeting was cut short as he tripped over a bike frame and went crashing to the floor, his compacted bike skidding out from under him.
The man looked up, startled. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, standing up and adjusting his glasses. "You took quite the fall there, eh?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Keegan grumbled. "I'm just having a really bad day," he said between nearly clenched teeth. "My bike, it needs repairs," he added, pointing at the fallen Acro Bike. It had started to unfold itself, and was looking pretty pathetic.
The man bent down and picked it up. "What did you do to it!?" he asked, looking as though Keegan had run over his child.
"Acro Bike versus Tree. Tree won," the boy stated simply.

"What did you do, throw it into the tree?" the man gasped, picking it up.
"Well, no," Keegan said, a little annoyed that the man seemed to care more about the condition of the bicycle than anything else. "A... a bug landed on my head, and I kinda got freaked out, and lost control of my bike..." Keegan muttered, looking slightly flushed.
"Hmmm." The man listened closly, chuckling a bit as Keegan mentioned the bug. "Don't worry, I hate 'em too. Creepy crawly little devils." He looked up. "This shouldn't take too long, I could have it fixed by tomorrow." He gave a nod, putting the bike up on the counter.
"How much is that gonna cost?" Keegan asked, almost too afraid to ask.
"Well, seeing as how you nearly broke your neck on the mess I've made, I'll fix it for just $1,000. Deal?"
"Sure, fine, whatever," Keegan nodded, looking inside his wallet. The winnings from his last two badges had given him more than a slight amount of pocket change. He pulled out the exact amount and handed it over.
"Hey, what happened to your hands?" the man asked.
"Bike accident," Keegan lied, putting his wallet back in his pocket. "Tomorrow, then," he said, and left the shop.

A group of giggling girls had been examining some of the new bikes parked outside, but they turned to look at Keegan as he stepped outside, and their voices fell to hushed tones.
"Look at him!" one giggled.
"Yeah, I bet he couldn't even afford a used bike," a second said, loud enough for Keegan to hear.
"What is he, some kind of beggar? Just look at those rags he's wearing!"
His face going red again, both from rage and embarrasment, Keegan caught sight of his reflection in a window. He was a sorry sight indeed - his clothes were filthy, his hair too. He looked as though he hadn't bathed in a week. Keegan wrinkled his nose at his own appearance, and cast a nasty scowl towards the girls as he passed them, his destination the Mauville City Pokemon Center.

Keegan walked quickly towards the Pokemon Center, now very self-conscious of his appearance. He stepped inside, relieved to be off the streets, and made his way to the counter where he handed over his Pokeballs. "Uh, do you have a shower facility here that I could use?" he asked a little sheepishly, but didn't feel so bad as the Nurse gave him a warm-hearted smile and pointed down the hall. "Thanks," he said, giving a little wave, and made his way to the showers. He grabbed a few clean towels, stowed his stuff in a locker, not thinking much of it as he lacked a lock of any kind, and got into the shower.
About twenty minutes later, feeling clean, refreshed, and much, much better, the boy walked back into the locker room, towel wrapped around his waist, to put on some clean clothes, after which, he resolved to find a landromat and get his dirty ones washed.
A look of complete and utter horror spread across his face as he realized the locker he'd put his belongings in was empty. It appeared that Keegan had been robbed.

As they trudged through the grass Dante could see a few trainer's moving around as well. He didn't really have any desire to battle them right now so did his best to avoid them while getting through the grass. Suddenly he found himself abruptly out of the grass but still in the rain. Sighing he pulled his bundled up Meowth a bit closer to his cheast and sneezed once befor going on waving off trainer's who spotted him or just avoiding them as best as he could. He just wasn't in the mood for battling at the moment. After a while and two bridge's later he spotted a large building up ahead. Sighing slighlty he went up to it and looked at the sign that was above the door. 'Weather Center? Why the hell is there a weather center?' He thought tiredly and somewhat annoyed with the whole thing. Deciding not to go in even if it was raining he turned and trudged over the bridge and continued on his way everyonce in a while sneezing and getting a somewhat flushed face as the cold weather and the fact that he was getting sick.

"This is all one, big, prolonged nightmare," Keegan sighed, trying to shake himself awake. He pinched his thigh as hard as he could, yelped at the pain, and knew he really wasn't dreaming. He restrained himself from pounding on the lockers in frustration, trying to think of a better plan. "Somebody took my stuff, they can't be far..." he reasoned, mustering his courage, and taking a deep breath.
So, wearing nothing but a towel, Keegan made his way down the hall, not at all surprised to see that the once-empty facility was now nearly teeming with all sorts of people. All he could here were gasps, giggles, and even an "on my!" from an older woman, who'd clasped her hands to her mouth.
Keegan tried his best to pretend he was enjoying the situation by waving with his free hand, the other firmly holding onto his towel, and also the last bit of dignity he had left. "Hey, how ya doin'?" he nodded to a pretty girl trainer with a Skitty on her lap as he made his way to the front desk, where he got Joy's attention with a fairly loud "AHEM." The pretty nurse's face went as red as her hair as he explained what had happened, and, while trying not to look at him, lead him to the lost and found, where they managed to assemble a half-decent outfit for him. The shoes were mismatched, but as he thankfully reclaimed his Pokemon, his mission now was far greater than finding the proper mates for his shoes:
Find whoever it was who'd taken his stuff, and beat the living crap out of them.

((Go beat the crap out of them Keegan! xp )) Eventually Dante found himself wondering if he was ever going to make it to Fortree when he ran into a ladder. Groaning and picking himself up from the mud he had fallen in he looked up at the ladder he had run into and for the first time in a while smiled somewhat. It appeared that he had run into his destination. Carefully tieing his trenchcoat so that it created a nice satchel so that Meowth, who was sleeping wouldn't wake up he carefully climbed the ladder. Once reaching the top he looked around with fast blurring eyesight and spotted the pokemon center. Going over he stepped inside the pokemon center, which was supprisingly empty, and went over to the counter where a suprised Nurse Joy stood and dropped Meowth, and all his pokeball's down onto the counter. Without saying anything else he went over to the couch and fell onto it exasted from the long walk and the surfacing fever.

((Oh, and such a beating there will be. )) Thankful once more that the thief hadn't gotten a hold of his Pokemon, Keegan stepped outside, looking around. "They can't be far!" he hissed, pulling up his baggy jeans, as they were several sizes too big. "Artemis!" he shouted, releasing the tiny bird into the air. "Scout around, you remember what my backpack looks like, right?" The Taillow gave a nod, and flew off, circling the skies overhead. "We're going to find this person and they're going to pay!" He shook his fist, and started to look around himself. At first, he was going to start asking people if they'd seen someone with a backpack go through here, but quickly realized it was a bad idea. About 75% of the people around him were wearing backpacks. He let out a nearly defeated sigh, and stuffed his hands into his pockets, causing his pants to start slipping down again. He pulled them up once more, and walked, with his fingers through the belt-loops, keeping alert for any signs of a suspicious individual.

Kasiya made her way home after the antics with Fang, feeling a little guilty about yelling at him. The Crobat was indeed a few berries short of a pie, but she did love the oddball. She sighed to herself as she walked her font stairs, let herself inside with the spare key hidden under a flower pot (filled with dead flowers, no less) and practically collapsed on the couch, after she'd kicked off her shoes and dropped her stuff by the door. Sensing they were home again, one by one her Pokemon let themselves out of their Pokeballs, and made themselves comfortable. The only exception was Fang, who seemd to be sulking inside his confinement. After a few moments, Kasiya released him, grabbing him by the wings and pulling him towards her. "I'm sorry, Fang," she said, and planted a kiss on his forehead. The green Crobat perked up, and went to find a closet to hang upside down in. The girl lied back on the couch, too tired to make the climb upstairs to her own room, and was soon fast asleep, with Shocker curled up on her stomach.

"Oh yes." Mike said with gusto. "Napalm. His name is Napalm." The boy wore a proud smile, like he'd just discovered some new scientific theory. "I think it fits for a fire Pokemon right?"
Over on the other side of the room, Portabello stirred in his state of semi-consciousness. I hate chairs. He thought, rubbing his head. I hate birds, I hate heights, and I most defiantly hate Houndooms!!

He took a considerable amount of time to eat his sandwich; he only took a bite every ten minutes and the bites themselves weren't that big. Flareon had decided to nibble on one end when it realized it didn't care much for roast beef. Kilik blinked at the Pokemon, and tore off some of the bread. He handed it to him, when something cold and slimey wrapped around his fingers and took the bread. Weezing had finished the garbage and decided to eat the bread. "Weezing! That was for Flareon! You ate already!" Tears welled up in the Poison-type's eyes. A sigh escaped the boy, "Fine..." he grumbled. Happy once more, Weezing floated back to its seat in the garbage.
Kilik tore a piece of bread again, handing it to Flareon who consumed it happily. The boy sighed, leaning forward and locking his fingers. I wish I knew...knew why Nina is acting this way...
