"Um me?..well..thinking about you most the time..Other then that..well..you know how my parents where..I blame them for not being able to show my emotions. They always looked happy out in public but it was nothing more then a lie. As you know they both hate eachother. I've been working hard to hone my skills with a blade as well as..well..other things.. Nothing of any real importance. Diplomatic duties the like. Christian and I became closer friends after you and Razz stoped talking to us though.."

"Really? I thought you two would have gone your seperate ways after Raz and I left you. Then again, everything doesn't go the way you think it would." Josie sat back in her chair and looked around the cafe, knowing what she wanted to order already.
"What sort of diplomatic stuff did you do?" Her eyes fell on Syrus again, holding only him within their gaze now.

"heh well we became like brothers I suppose. Um lets see.." Syrus looked up and thought. "I had to go to many different nobles around ireland and even England. I mean the country there is beautiful but I hate all those bastards. They still think they own Ireland..I mean I know they do but they don't have to gloat about it!"

"Calm down, Syrus. I hater the English for gloating too, but you don't have to get so angry about it." Josie gave Syrus a soft smile and held back a giggle. She understood hating gloaters very well, having lived with one for most of her life, and was on the same page as Syrus about it.

"Ugh..sorry Josie. I just wish they'd give Ireland to us. I mean the only reason they keep such a strong grip on it is because they want to see us suffer. I hate the british.." He sighed and looked over to Josie.
"Sorry again, I know how much you hate seeing people shout."

"I've gotten used to shouters, Syrus. You do know who I hung out with." Josie gave Syrus a smile then glanced around again, her eyes going over those who passed them and sat near their table.
"And I agree with you. England should just hand Ireland over. But no one's going to listen logic, only money."

"A Rueben sandwich and Sprite. Not really picky right now." Josie shrugged and crossed her legs, brushing something only she could see off her shirt. She looked to a couple sitting near them then quickly away, her eyes going around again. Now it was her turn to search for somethign to talk about.

As the waitress walked over Syrus ordered for the both of them, not giving josie a chance to speak to the woman before she walked off to fill their orders. Comming back with their drinks and setting them down before them.
"So Josie, how much time do you think your dad has left..I mean whats really wrong with him. Your mother wouldn't tell us."

"His heart is failing, health is getting worse. The nurse said he has two months, maybe less." Josie took a sip of her Sprite and stared at the cup, a sad look in her eyes. It still hurt to think about her father in the hospital, barely able to even speak by this time.

"Hmn..I suppose no one can really life forever..Tch..I really wanted to hit your mother when I found out..she seems to be enjoying this..I hope he left everything to you and Razz..well..everything except for what is stated in our contract. Unfortunatly if we don't..you know..she gets it and I loose my place. Still I'm not going to force you into something you don't want to do. I did that to much when I was little. I won't do it again."

"Actually, I kind of have an idea about the arrangement. Father said that as long as one of us follows it, he'll be happy. Raz is in love with Tuomas, and everyone knows I'll never find anyone. I was thinking that I'd follow the arrangement and make everyone happy." Josie locked eyes with Syrus again then looked away, knowing her plan sounded a little half-baked. She sipped at her Sprite and let her eyes wander, waiting for Syrus to say something about the idea.

"Oh um...My thats very kind of you Josie..but what makes you say you won't find anyone? You may be a demon but your not evil like demons are supposed to be. You care about your friends and your family. Quite frankly..its because your a demon that I love you so much..you've changed my views on angels and demons. I used to think that angels where pure and demons where evil. Now..now I believe that there is no difference between the races. That angels are made up of good demons and angels..that demons are made up of fallen angels and demons. I believe that good and evil are mixed races, not only one. Besides I.." Syrus lifted his arm up and began to itch the back of his neck.
"I really enjoy being with you. However I won't force you into something you don't want to do. Even if I do loose everything I don't want to loose the most important thing to me. I don't want you to loose your happiness.." Syrus said as he blushed. Realizing what he said his eyes went wide. "Eh I mean!!!" He scrambled for some way to cover up what he had just said but his mind only drew a blank.

"That's very sweet of you, Syrus. But come on, you're really the only guy I've ever been around that didn't feel me up or try to do something worse. And besides, if I did find someone, it probably wouldn't last for very long." Josie shrugged at her last statement and continued sipping at her Sprite, a smile on her face at hearing that Syrus wanted her happiness over his. She set the glass aside and shifted in her seat before speaking again.
"You're really sweet by saying what you did, Sy. But you know I'd only be unhappy if I lose Raz. And I'd be happy marrying you. I mean, you're one of my best friends and, well..." She chewed on her bottom lip after saying that, her own blush coming up at her words.

"hah! I'm so glad to hear you say that Josie, and that blush on you looks very cute. Well then if you are sure then I have something for you." Syrus said, holding up his index finger to signal her to wait a moment. Leani ng back in his seat he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black box.
Smiling abit he looked up at Josie, "I hope you like it..actually I made the design for it when I was still little. I learned how to blacksmith from old O'Donnell. He helped me make it into a work of perfection. Syrus reached his left hand over the top of the box and opened it up, inside was a ring, a silver band with a sapphire in the middle, upon the band was a angelic wing design. Though there was something encryped into the inside of the ring itself. If she looked closely she could see what it said, 'I have always wept to have what I have feared to loose, now I fear loosing that I love, however fear never having loved her at al most of all.'
