Oga flailed her horns, she had been successful!! She had distracted the leopard cub from the ebony one. She owed her life to that leopard, and was very grateful...but now it was time to pay her back. Oga was flailing wildly, trying her hardest to get the snapping leopard off of her back.

::Hodari lay in his nice little spot, completely unaware of what was happening back at the fight scene.. He was nervous.. Oh so very nervous.. and worried... What if Mizaku was introuble still? He would call for help... Mizaku would yell or something! Well.. Hodari didn't -know- that.. But.. It was what he imagined happening...::
::The lion cub stood up after calming himself down, nodding as he turned to head back.. Maybe they would have stopped fighting now? a smile crossed his face as he imagined peace between each of them... how nice that would be.... All of them, friends....::
::The greyish cub laughed at himself, starting to run, his mind still playing tricks on him. Mizaku and the other cub were proubly all having a good laugh with that eland! Proubly laughing over what had happened! He could see it in his mind...::

When Kasida finally arrived, what she saw shocked her. It wasn't a hunt at all! It was a fight! That lion lied! She growled quietly at the thought of that dirty pride-cat, but her attention soon turned to the actions below her. She watched the two leopards fight and then the pray-beast come in. What was it doing? It would be killed! Kasida crawled down the tree trunk and ran over to Usiku while Mizaku was distracted. Kasida looked at all her wounds and was terrified. "Are you okay? What's going on? We need to get out of here!" It all sort of ran together, her eyes were wide with fear.

Once again, Mizaku picked a different spto, on the opposite side of the elands neck. He bit hard, forcing his jaws to dig in as ar as the could go...and even further. It was starting to hurt him ( @_@ ). He latched on to her head with his front back paws and held on to her neck with his front. He lifted one back foot and scratched at Oga's face, hissing angrily as bloodcontinued to drip down his jaws.

Usiku was almost too shell-shocked to notice the approach of another leopard, and at first she had skittered away...thinking it was the male she had fought. When it spoke and Usiku knew it was a different one, and female, her muscles relaxed a bit.
"I..." she looked over to the leopard and eland. "I tried to save that eland and the leopard was ...crazed. I attacked him to give the eland a chance to escape and that's when we started fighting. And now..." She let her voice trail off, indicating to the two fighters.

Oga feeling the blood dripping from it seemed everywhere..bucked violently, hoping to throw off the blood thirsty cub. She was determined to buck untill he fell off.

::Hodari kept at his slow pace, head held high, his mind lost in it's joyous thoughts. When he found them, he'd tell them all the stupid things he had been thinking about and then they'd go and find something nice to eat, other than Oga, and lay around or something!::
::As he approched the scene, his jaw dropped.. They..They were STILL fighting? He found himself enraged at this sight, one paw stamping upon the ground, readying himself to charge towards Oga and Mizaku. This had to end!::
::It a rush of pure rage, the lion charged towards the eland, pouncing at her, snapping a little, growling and meowing.::

The endless swinging was gettign to be too much for Mizaku. He held on tight with his claws, not wanting to let go. Then as she bucked her head again his back paws slipped and he was thrown of, slamming into a tree and falling to the ground. Hefelt pain arising in his joints and especially his back. He took a few deep breaths and lifted his head, knowing the eland would surely kill him. He dropped back on the ground, closing his eyes tightly and hissing under his breath.

Kasida stared at Mizaku. She could not understand why he would attack one of his own kind.. She had never heard of anything like that, but she hadn't been alive too long. Xb
Kaisda turned her attention back to the black leopard cub. She was bleeding pretty profusely and if something wasn't done for it, she might lose too much blood.. The cub shook her head. She didn't want to think about it. She wasn't sure what to do, but then she remembered what her sister told her about wounds.. You have to lick them to clean them out! So Kasida began to gently lick the wound on Usiku's shoulder blade.

Oga seeing the cub had fallen off..charged towards him and stomped her hooves just short of his small body. She still had another cub on her but it didn't bother much, she was growing numb. She had lost quite a bit of blood and she could not even feel the pain anymore. She didn't want to kill the cubs, she just wanted to scare them off so the other could get away. She noticed yet another leopard just off to the side where her lifesaver was. She was glad that someone was attending to her wounds..they didn't look very good. Oga felt that the end was near..

Hidalgo, meanwhile, having lost the group that he'd been following once again, had begun to follow the commotion not far off. The lion cub, as he approached, had expected maybe a little bickering.. maybe a silly little fight over a mouse or something of the sort. However, as he suddenly came within easy view of the fight, he halted, obviously in as much shock as the others had been in. Beady black eyes were quickly focused and glued upon the eland and the leopard, not exactly sure of what either was at the time being, though continued to watch. Over the time span of maybe thirty seconds, his jaw dropped, though he merely stood there, not exactly moving away or towards anything at this point.
Thankful the creature had finally managed to knock the attacker off, Hidalgo slowly, keeping his eyes pinned upon the action, started heading in the direction of the two leopard cubs, still rather unsure of what exactly was going on. Hunting, or just plain out fighting? A brow arched in confusion, and the lion cub finally stopped, just shy of a few feet from the pair of leopards. "Uhh.. what's going on..?" He suddenly asked, cocking his head. It was most obvious that he was confused.

Mizaku took a deep breath, the eland looked pretty bad. He wondered why she had stopped...didn't she realize he was just going to attack her again? Mizaku wanted to jump up and get back to the battle, but he was getting very weak now...being the only one wanting to bring Oga down. He glanced at the others...there was more cubs now....and Hadori was back. He could feed them all if he could just kill this eland!
He stood up weakly, glaring at the creature in front of him. He scampered to the right and sprang up on to her back, using the last of his strength to chomp between her should blades. His tail whipped to keep his balance, and his claws ripped into Oga's skin. Pain eminated from his back, almost enough to make him just drop and that would be the end of it... but Mizaku was determined.... He wasn't going to give up.

::Hodari had long since given up.. The eland was going to die no matter what, there was nothing anyone could do!::The lion lept up, attempting to latch upon the eland's throat and sink his teeth within her neck, that would hopefully end it... -hopefully-...::He felt a tad uneasy with the leopard cubs watching him... The panther had wanted to save the eland and surely the other cub did as well.. And was that another lion he saw? What would they do once the eland was good and dead? He didn't know and personally, he didn't care anymore. All that mattered was ending this and eating!::

The blood was continuing to pour out from all corners of her body. She grew more and more weak with every breath. She began to think about her herd, and why she had abandoned them. Then, her mind began to wonder to the life she had just saved. She looked towards the ebony leopard cub and smiled, a tear rolled down her beaten face. She then faced her attacker and let out a long, loud cry that signaled the end of it all. She fell to the ground, frozen to it..not able to move. She had given up her life, but had saved another and that is what she had set out to do. She was flat on her side now, her breathing growing scarce and more scarce by the second. She let out one last soft cry, and was motionless. Her breathing ceased shortly after. The battle was over.
