Sayeh openned her eyes. Sad, violet eyes were there as she turned to pat on the rock with a strength unknown to most.
Aussi's annoyed voice came through. "WHAT?"
"Please, Sir Aussi, it is Sayeh. Someone is here to see you." She called through.
The boulder slid to the side and there was the leopard gecko, eyes glaring with annoyance and his arms crossed. "What have I told you before?" His thick tail flicked angerily. "Do you enjoy making me angry at you?! DO YOU?!" The austrailian animal sighed to calm himself down before his hand reached up to brush his hair away from his glasses. "Now who wants to see me?"
Sayeh winced at his angered tone and even jerked as if she was scared he would hit her once again. She bowed her head when she heard his sigh. "I'm sorry, Sir Aussi. Please, forgive me. He was rather insistant to see you." The feline moved her hand to show Cassius.
Aussi glanced over at Cassius. "Yes?" He said curiously at the naga. He had no idea who this person was.

A growl came from the naga as he heard the tone used to speak to Sayeh, then to him. ''Hmph...So rude.'' He moved some of his hair to see the gecko a little more clearly, and his eyes narrowed angrily as he spoke again, and icy calm. ''Am I to understand, that you are the one who harmed this feline?'' It was hard for Cassius to speak calmly, for all he wanted to do was lash out and hurt this creature so badly.

Aussi glared over at Sayeh. "HAVE YOU BEEN SPREADING LIES ABOUT ME?!"
Sayeh winced in response to his yelling and even stepped back from him, holding her hands up. "No, Sir Aussi!"
Aussi sighed and rolled his eyes behind his glasses. "I never 'harmed' Sayeh. I merely reminded her of her place in life. That is all. Though, I would love to know how that is any concern of yours." He looked to Cassius, unknowing of the anger.

''I assure you, ''Sir'' Aussi, that her place in life is much higher than yours. '' The naga snarled, his anger breaking free. ''You hit her. You ripped the cloak she put her heart into. How dare you, you little worm! I'll show you what happens when people hurt my friends!'' Cassius shot forward, crashing into Aussi, and striking a blow to the side of his face. ''How. Dare. You.'' Cassius' hands reached for his neck, and he tried to slam his head against the floor, hissing with fury.

Aussi was completely caught offguard and his face jerked in the direction that Cassius had sent it. He went down and gasped. His hands gripped at the fingers curled around his neck.
Sayeh's eyes teared up and she came forward. "Cassius, thats enough, please." The feline never imagined it had angered him so.

Cassius released the creature's neck and stood up slowly, throwing a look of disgust at Aussi. ''Hmph...You're lucky Sayeh is here, filth.'' His crimson eyes narrowing to look at Sayeh, he asked quietly, confused. ''Why do you want me to stop? After what he did to you?'' Another look of pure revulsion was thrown at the gecko.

Sayeh kneeled down and helped Aussi to sit up. Her violet eyes looked up at Cassius. "Because I forgive him. His anger gets to him and hides away his true self. Besides, he has been merciful to me." The feline ushered the male into his room to lay him down on his bed and she tugged him in.
Aussi was now glaring up at the ceiling. "Worthless feline."
Sayeh didn't even look back. She merely spoke to him. "I will be back to check in on you later, Sir Aussi. Please rest." She then moved back to Cassius and shut the door to his room. The feline moved over to her room and openned up the curtain. "Would you care to rest after such anger?" Her room. A rare place.

Cassius gave a low warning snarl, as he heard what the lizard said. He stepped forward, ''Don't you speak to her like that you worthless piece of filth. If it wasn’t for her I'd surely have killed you.'' The naga's eyes glowed angrily, but he shook his head as Sayeh stepped out. ''I would not let him talk to me like that. I won't allow him to talk to you like that. I will repeat this beating until he learns that you are better than him, and he should respect you.''

Aussi muttered. "Yeah Yeah yeah. Just go."
Sayeh looked at the floor. "Please Cassius, come sit with me?" She now had to ask. This had bothered her for a long time and now she had to bring it out into the open. However, not infront of Aussi.

Another growl, and the naga clenched his fists and turned his back on the lizard, to Sayeh. ''I suppose...'' He followed the feline, unclenching his fists and calming himself mentally, using a technique Julian had taught him. He looked around at Sayeh's room, and smiled. It was beautiful.

It was an Indian Concubine's room with nothing but pillows everywhere. Closing the curtain behind him, Sayeh came ot sit down on the one pillow. She closed her eyes. "Cassius, do you know who I am?" She began slowly.

A little confused, he nodded slowly. ''You are Sayeh, correct?'' The fire in his heart had died, and now replaced by the sense that he was hopelessly wrong. He disliked this feeling, and now, he hated it mroe than ever. His scarlet hues watched her warily, and for some reason, he felt...scared.

Her hand reached up to him and she looked up with a saddened look. "Of course I am Sayeh. Please sit with me, Cassius?" She turned her face away. "There is a reason I am below everyone around me. I didn't want to admit it to anyone but I trust you Cassius because I have faith you will not reject me as others had in the past when I had told them." Her red lip trembled lightly. "Its because.. I am a failed concubine."

When she finished, he knelt down carefully, curling his tail around them both carefully. ''You are not below anyone. Everyone who has a kind heart is equal. It does not matter what you were, it matters what you are, and what you will be.'' He told her, and shook hsi head. ''I would never reject you for something as small as that.''

Sayeh looked up at him. "I was raised only to serve my master. I failed my former master. I couldn't dance as he wished of me. And when I tried to please him, no matter what happened, I was not good enough. I was sent away because I am worthless to him and in return, to all others."
Her eyes fell to the ground. "I did not know that the last piece of jewelry that my former master gave me was a symbol that I was rejected and no longer his concubine. No one would come near me." She glanced over at him. "This is why I am below everyone. Even though I was born to serve all others, I could not be who I was meant to." Her hand reached out to a square table that was nothing more then a block. On it was the collar that she always wore. "As long as I am rejected, I do not deserve the kindness I receive."
The feline looked up at him almost in a pleading manner. Her body trembled lightly as she felt as though she would burst. "This is why I need to know why. Why do you treat me as if I was worth anything? Why do you show me such kindness when I have done nothing to earn it? Is there something you want of me? I do not understand your endless kindness."
